Just bought. Don't get the front rack. Don't have any thing to mount my headlight to. The seat doesn't go down far enough for my height. Had to put front fender on. And the bolts all had lock tight on them. What a fucking pain. And now to talk for me😢😢😢😢

The only thing about Engwe is the terrible bars way too high even for people who at all makes some less manoeuverable that’s why so many people put BMX stems and handlebars on the bikes, looks like a really good utility bike but I’ve heard the motors are not 750w, they’re about 500 W, but for the price point seems like an excellent bike for shopping, et cetera, the only thing about e-bikes is they use the most crappies group set going for not much more money really not much more money. You can get a better group set but they all use the same there some differences ,the engwe engine pro for example uses and actual gear shifter not the silly ones that you see on these bikes where you have to press the button and then recall and go through the motions and it’s not much more money and you one more premium e-bikes that cost more they’re all use the same brakes and a really really cheap group set to me doesn’t make a lot of sense because there’s not so much difference between the group sets

This is an amazing bike for TALL PEOPLE, and it FOLDS. 6'4" NO PROBLEM. Unless your idea of tall is 6'8" maybe.

Where did you buy the scooter?

I love mine but, I am a little heavy for it. I installed usb fans paired with a 20k Mah battery to cool off the motor. So far so good. I am able to do around 30-40km with 40-60% of the battery. I always keep it over 20% to prevent dammage.

How low the seat can be?

I have 2 l20 fat tire biggest down fall is u get an error code like i have on 1 of the bikes trottle not working cant increase speed on speedometer got error code e025 but if i put the speedometer of the good bike it works fine so order new speedometer it still says e025 error code and trying to get answers from supplier is a nightmare my local bike shops wont touch the bikes cos they are chinese and dont comply with uk safety regulations so iam stuck dont know what to do and the company are a discrace to with

I bought mine on a BLACK FRIDAY SALE and after opening on Christmas the warranty was already expired...got to drive it around April when snow was gone...it drove 6 miles and got stranded 2 miles from my house... company won't do anything to help so I got a $700 paperweight.

How many miles have you gotten on a full charge

Can you see the total number of kilometers you have driven on the display? or does it just show how much you've done for the day and then reset to zero?

Unfortunately, it has been an illegal bicycle in Europe since January 2024. The new European regulations classify it as a "motor cycle", and it is not approved to be registered as such. If the Police or Civil Guard catch you with it, the fine is heavy, because even if you limit it to 25 km/h, the motor is still 1000 W, and it weighs more than 40 kg. Look for the regulations, it is easy to find.

WARNING: "UNITED KINGDOM BUYERS, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY" I RECENTLY PURCHASED THE ENGINE PRO 2.0 WITH MY OWN HARD-EARNED MONEY ON 20 APRIL 2024. I HAD VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR IT, AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED. It's important to note that non-RUclipsrs, like myself, who are enticed by videos showcasing the fully unlocked versions of the Pro 2.0, may be in for an enormous and very bitter disappointment. I, too, fell for this and purchased the 2.0, expecting a thrilling 27 mph ride {packaged received on the 2nd of May 2024}. For this reason, I am still determining if, before this date, the Engine Pro and Engine Pro 2.0 have been sold with the actual feature allowing you to unlock these bikes to full power}. However, I was shocked to discover that the speed was locked to 15 MPH. This renders the 750-watt motor and 75 Nm torque completely useless, as it's impossible to reach a speed that would genuinely challenge this level of power. Supposedly, to unlock the speed, you enter the secret menu by pressing + & - simultaneously, then get to 8p, press info on the side, then proceed to increase the speed from 15 mph to 30 mph {if you are going on private land). Well, it is locked to 15 mph, and you cannot increase it no matter what you do. Furthermore, the ride is not just disappointing; it's downright frustrating. The power surges, only to abruptly cut off when you hit the 15 mph top speed. Then, it gradually decreases until it reaches 12 mph, and it surges again to bring your speed back up to 15 mph, causing you to jerk back and forth like you're riding a camel in the Sahara desert, AND THERE IS NO WAY TO ALTER THIS. Forget about all the supposed power the Engine Pro 2.0 has if you can only do 15 mph. Consider this: Imagine driving a Ferrari or a Lamborghini with immense power and torque but limited to a 15 mph top speed. You'd be cruising with a powerful engine and tech to reach higher power and torque, but it would be pointless. This is the Engine Pro 2.0 in a nutshell; you have a powerful motor and capabilities, which means you're carrying extra weight for no good reason; you'd be better off with a much lighter 250-watt motor, which means less strain on the battery. The throttle is a complete joke and utterly useless. Yes, it's possible to activate it-but guess what? It only propels you to a 4-mph speed, which is only useful if you need to walk with the bike beside you. That’s it. If you're at a traffic light and expect the throttle to assist you in taking off, forget it. It won't budge; you have to pedal. Also, I went as far as taking it to a few Ebike specialists. After doing several checks and running several tests on the Engine Pro 2.0, they concluded and explained that the manufacturer fully locked the bike. I repeat, IMPOSSIBLE; it is impossible to unlock it, as several marketing videos show. I CONTACTED ENGWE, AND THEY JUSTIFIED THE NONSENSE AND DODGY FALSE ADVERTISING BY VOMITING ABOUT THE UK LAW. BLAH BLAH BLAH, THIS COMPANY ARE BAST@RDS; THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. To make clear, I am not preaching about breaking the law; I want a bike that you can fully unlock when you are on private land, which is where I ride all the time and then lock back to 15 mph, disable the throttle as the UK law indicates when taking it on public law regulated roads. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEND IT BACK AND HOPE FOR A REFUND. So far, Engwe is not responding to my pleads for my money back; they clearly don’t like to hear about returns and refunds, sure, so this company, Engwe, sticks by the UK law when it comes to speed but is NOT interested in UK law when it comes down to full refunds. I doubt very much that RUclipsrs don’t know what is going on. I doubt they are unaware they are getting an unlocked version (not sold unlocked in the UK), but I doubt they are unaware as these are paid-for reviews; I should have known better. No one takes the trouble to do a review saying wonderful things about a product for free. COME ON!! HOW STUP£" AND NAIVE I'VE BEEN. Again, unlocking the Engwe Engine Pro 2.0 is impossible if you buy it in the UK. STEAR CLEAR! I apologise to all the hard-working people who work hard to earn their money, reading this for sounding annoyed and frustrated, or perhaps both, but I need to share this information publicly to ensure your hard-earned cash is well spent, and you don't go through what I am going through. I am extremely disappointed with Engwe and RUclipsrs, whom I no longer trust; they sell their positive review videos for brand-new bikes, which they can easily recycle into money by selling them. In addition, RUclipsrs either verbally advertise the link to the bike down below or it will be there, and every time fools like myself buy a bike following the link of a RUclipsr, they cash in. So, of course, they want these bikes to be sold; it is a win-win situation for them.

is this bike better or worse than the ep2 pro

Honestly ive been really considering getting this bike recently, I really love how the style sits right in the middle between a moped and a dirtbike style bike. Right now I can get it around $989, which is honestly a really solid deal compared to other bikes around that same price. Although out of box its not the most powerful with 30mph speed and decent torque, i feel like that's more than enough for me to get me where i need to go. Plus I feel like later down the road if i wanted to I could replace the motor and controller and get a much more responsive and powerful bike, and with its beautiful style i feel like it has a lot of potential. I would love to paint the grey frame a black color though and really make those tan colors pop.

Quick feedback for anyone watching this review in Jun of 2024, I own a Max Pro and here's my experience having one on a daily: 1) Overall a great scooter, manages most of my requirements on a daily, if you want higher speeds that 35kmph you need to look for scooters with dual motors. 2) Major Flaw: The pneumatic tires, I had two flat tires in the span of two months and I am extremely careful with my tech. Major disappointment on this issue. 3) You will probably find 1/10 sellers having 11inch tires, its the most uncommon size amongst even major e-scooter brands. 4) Whats the fix to the tire problem? I have replaced both front and back with 10 inch solid tires, (no need to pump air anymore), not the best solution especially when it comes to bumps but solves this major issue of flat tires. 5) Another thing to keep in mind, the weight of the scooter, it's almost 25kgs, thats like carrying around a large check-in luggage, I have been told several times by bus drivers they won't let me in with the e-scooter. (I live in BC, Canada). 6) Bluetooth module failed on me due to which I got locked out of my bike, the fix to that is you have to get the charger and charge the bike, that unlocks the bike. Another major disappointment when using the park assist feature. 7) My honest opinion, spend a little more and buy other scooters that have a dual motor if you are looking at getting a big scooter like this, you are better off spending atleast $1200-1500 on another brand vs spending $900-1000 on the Max Pro.

how long does it last

Just got mine, May 23rd. The right handle bar is very stiff and difficult, and I have trouble getting it to fold in. I have to really ream on it with both hands. The left if fine. Taking out today on its maiden voyage. Update. As of this writing due to rain in the area, I have only rode this unit once. It moves quite well and is well built. Lots of options for the money compared to other ones I have looked at. I thought at first the cruise control would have to be set manually but once you hit the max speed in the mode you're in you'll hear 2 beeps. Let go of the throttle and the cruise automatically clicks in. Nice feature. After my ride, I got up the next morning and went to check the handle bar on the right. The one that was giving me trouble. It as fine. I tried it like 10 times and it works great just like the left one. It only took me seconds to figure out how the problem got solved. The ride did it. Likely hitting a few bumps jarred the unit and put it where it needed to be. Just a bit of stress and it repaired itself. I have not seen anything in the booklet in regards to tire pressure although it is listed on the tires, even with a flashlight I find it hard to see. I am assuming 35 PSI. I can't wait to ride it again. The summers are short.

I got one awhile ago for 980$ in a combo deal and I’ve put 1000 miles on mine and I beat on it pretty hard and the only issue I ever had was popping a tired which was no big deal. This things pretty legit I think.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! i purchased a ix6 from this company last week and it wont turn on or charge straight out of the box! Wont acknowledge my emails or return phone calls. Please read the real trust pilot reviews as they all say the same thing. Seeking legal advice.
