    Quietkat had a deal and dropped the price by about a G. I ordered mine because i felt 4k was peicey but 3k sounds about right. Id look for deals and promotions. I'm going to get use to it for a month or two and then get another battery and mount it to that rack with some saddle bags and go off road/camping or fishing with it.

    Hey, very good review! Do you know if there are quick disconnects for the rear tire removal if you get a flat? I was between this and the Ride1up Revv1, and watching the video on how to change the Revv1's rear tire has me 2nd guessing. You basically have to take apart the entire bike. Hoping Quietkat gave that some thought. Thanks!

    Yeah right you better get all that for $3600-4000. I have a $900 26" ebike and I can get all those riding stats from it. Sure it doesn't have hydraulic brakes and fancy other stuff but hey my last ride with it before storing for the winter I got 30 miles on my $900 bike, and I'm perfectly fine I love my fat tire bike that gets ohhh's and ahhhs as well.
    One last interesting true fact. In the 1970's I purchased my first family station wagon. It was a brand new 1974 Ford Pinto wagon. $3500 out the door. And that was over priced being it was purchased in Californias inflated pricing. 😅

    Are you sure you’re even allowed on the lot of those bike paths because class three bikes are not allowed on most of them you’re basically with a class three restricted two bike lanes on roads and a few bike Waze. For the most part you’re not allowed on bike paths particular ones that accommodate pedestrians bicyclist in hikers

    • @PoweredwithJohnny
      @PoweredwithJohnny  11 месяцев назад

      You can adjust this to class two. Obviously common sense goes along way. No one around your fine. People around, slow cruising and being respectful. And respectfully if a cyclist can churn along at 28mph while he is training, I can’t see much difference. Except I can maintain that much longer if I wanted.
      We have many cyclists around that train. You would be surprised how fast they are.
      And currently there are no posted restrictions in the areas I ride. I assume someday yes as people will be blasting there way when people are around.
      I try to ride when traffic is minimal. Hence you don’t really see anyone in my rides.

    • @johnrob3215
      @johnrob3215 11 месяцев назад

      By your own admissions you're throttling a class 3 30-35mph on bicycle/pedestrian paths that at best allow a class 2 limited by law to 20mph on PAS only. You claim you only drive recklessly like this when there is no one else around but we see speeding at around curves with less than 50 feet of forward visisbility. You're dangerous, incompetent, irresponsible and a menace to everyone else on those paths. It's 20% Jeffrey's like you who will fork it up for the rest of us.

    • @stevemcfadden7588
      @stevemcfadden7588 9 месяцев назад +2

      @@PoweredwithJohnny totally agree with the common sense comment, but the difference between a cyclist and someone on an e-bike is ~80lbs x 28mph which is a whole lot of extra momentum. As a former car accident reconstructionist, I can assure you that is a large difference, especially considering the risk of hitting a pedestrian.

      100 miles on throttle only…what model/brand?

    • @kimhyunwoo8983
      @kimhyunwoo8983 Год назад +2

      Mate how, you realize the avg ebike uses about 30wh per mile for 30mph and at 30wh x 100miles you’d need a battery of 3kwh about but that’s in the best conditions with a lighter rider, not too many hills, wind or luggage/gear.
      So factor that up by another 10ish watts and that’s 40wh/mile so 40wh x 100 miles you’d need 4kwh battery.
      Say it’s 52v you’d need a ~76ah
      Don’t get me wrong I don’t think this bike is worth it either and it’s not very competitively priced at all, but unless you’ve built a ticking time bomb of a battery and a absolutely huge cheap bike, I don’t know how you’ve gotten a $1800 estimation. I mean even 48v stealth bombers don’t have that many amp hours and cost more.
