Yeah I don’t know what AMD was thinking with the 6700XT MSRP, only $20 cheaper than the 3070 and it lost to the 3070. Should have been $449 at most. Also the 9070XT will NOT be $900.
@morpheus_9 I am hoping that it will be $499.00 for the reference models and performance is around the 4080 and 7900XTX for rester performance at 4k and with at least 4070Ti super RayTracing or better that would be awesome. I would probably buy it and do some benchmarks and some game play videos with it
@TheSlimjim13579 It doesn't make any kind of sense to me either. The 5080 avg is only like 9% faster that's like going from 100fps in a game to 109 fps nothing to get exited about

500€ would be the maximum Id pay. I mean street price triple slot, triple fan model. Otherwise its just not beating any of the good deals and promos on 7800xt we had before. Specifically talking about cashbacks. Not the overrated AAA games they give in some promos.

Meh, My local microcenter has the 5080's at $1200-$1500 and 5090 at $2200-$2500. Their suggested msrp was a joke.
That is a bit to much for a 5080 (5070) and a 5090 (5080)

4080 was 1300€ with the 5080 shortages they saw their chance to raise them to 1600€
5080 1800-200€
And 4070ti is 1000€

AMDs GPU pricing strategy has always been: $50 cheaper than their Nvidia counterparts.
But the pricing of the RTX 5070 made them $hit their pants.
