I liked this. That Raven wanted to protect Yang by taking the relic for herself was something I did not expect. I would have thought that Raven would have just wanted Yang to take the relic and leave her alone. I thought that Raven would have thought that it was hitting two birds (pun intended) with one stone. She would no longer have to worry about Yang, and she would no longer have to worry about Salem chasing her because of the relic
And then the ugly crying started
Please, if you haven't already, give Emme a box of tissues, she sounds like she really needs is. Same applies to all your VAs who have had to do a cry scene

@@SlothofBangkok Salem is 100% immortal as decreed by the gods themselves, her body will reform in a few seconds even if it is completely obliterated and this can happen forever without any strain or damage to Salem. Her immortality also keeps her in eternal perfect health and youth and grants infinite stamina. This is like dragonball wish level immortality, so unless Ozpin has a dead zone or a way to erase somebody from existence, then there is no way to get rid of Salem by force. The gods will only remove the immortality if Salem finally learns her lesson, and last I checked this isn't Steven Universe or My Little Pony so I doubt thousands of years of hatred can be magically undone by a few minutes of conversation.

So many feels. These are truly masterpieces that you guys are making. I don't know what else to say to show my praise so instead I'll list some best moments in my opinion:
1) How emotional she got and how she truly wanted to act like a mother, but knew how weak she was and the devastation she felt when she realized it.
2) SAO Abridged references:
a) Unaware that you're mourning and feeling guilt over the death of Sachi/Vernal
b) Surly drunk Raven crying
3) Sexy times?
4) Back in my day things were tougher.
5) Confused about the theories (And by the way, some people have been saying that Yang wasn't referring to neither Summer nor the Spring Maiden, but instead to the Raven that Tai knew, and he told her about. Did Raven kill the version of herself that fought for what she believed in, no matter how troubled or complicated she was?)

Wow. Props to the voice actor. It really sounded like Raven was crying. That was amazing.
Raven's thoughts once realizing that if she took the relic with her, the fact that she is remembering Summer, and her stern and cold bravado finally breaking down..... gosh. Now this is filled with feels yo. It hurts to see Raven shocked that her own daughter, who she abandoned her whole life, was willing to risk her own life to fight against Salem, and it really shows she just wants to protect Yang. But... what can she do to atone for many many years of abandonedment? Only time will tell if she reappears in RWBY Vol 7 or 8 onwards. Nonetheless, this is amazing. 😊. Kudos to Emme for the feels and amazing voice work. 💓💓.

This is perhaps your single best video that took on a more serious tone with the subject matter that I have seen. There was just enough humor injected to remind us that this is generally meant to be comedic, yet even the comedy ( acknowledgement of abandonment, mentally mistaking Ruby for Summer ) reinforced the more serious tone. You folks also showed some great intuition into the possible mind of Raven, giving her a more robust backing as a character.
I just thought of something, what if Torchwick is still alive and is being tortured in atlas under ironwood’s commands in an homage to a clockwork orange.

Waited a long time for this video.......and I was not disappointed guys! Well done. Also I still never get tired of seeing Tai's, "oh great what do you want now?" face. Makes me really want to see him and Raven interact at some point in the series. Maybe through a scenario where Tai goes by Summer's grave one day, and finds Raven standing over it poring all her frustrations and regrets out to it as if she's hoping Summer can somehow help her from Beyond the grave.

This was pretty good. I don't see why everyone thinks Raven's automatically redeemed because she cried, though. She's done some messed up stuff.
It's easier for people to relate to her one moment of vulnerability than misdeeds that haven't actually been shown. All we've actually seen her do is save Yang from Neo and kick Cinder's ass. You know she's a bad person if you stop to think about it, but the immediate reaction tends to be different.

I think Summer was very much the opposite of Ruby herself. She went into Beacon knowing the secrets of Silver Eyes, Salem, Ozpin and was very well composed in knowing the truth and accepted the destiny she’d been given and would fight. Still there are some things she and Ruby share, probably a clutz, a strategist, and not good at making friends and just as surprised as Ruby was when she was made team leader of her team. But one last thing, summer lied under Ozpin’s request that her Semblance was her silver eyes ability.
Taiyang on the other hand I feel slipped his way into Beacon kinda like Jaune, possibly. Or he barely cleared the bar and Ozpin saw potential and let him in. But he went in knowing nothing of the greater truth of the world. And when he did find out he took it in stride, accepting that he personally couldn’t do anything to harm Salem or her forces but he could make sure the his friends and family were safe and trained and help raise the next generation. Also I feel his Semblance possibly was aura manipulation, like he charge himself with it and release it in his body kinda like the 8 inner gates.
Raven and Qrow were born into their clan that was one of the last standing ones that refused to conform to the norm or modern society preferring the life of hunters, killers, bandits, and thieves. Oz offered them a place in the academy Raven being reluctant Qrow accepted without a second thought. Raven was happy where she was while Qrow felt morally wrong. Ozpin eventually brought the two of them into his inner circle and gave them power to turn into birds.
Raven immediately ran but would keep going back to Tai and running away again as she was just afraid on the inside and even spilling it all to him. Summer did like Tai but knew his heart was still set on Raven and knew well she kept coming back. But Summer and Qrow found about Yang and Summer stepped up helping raise her and Tai also began to fall for her and got her pregnant Qrow keeping his distance because of his Semblance. He also met winter around this time and instantly hated her as did she but in truth they really liked one another but are just too damn stubborn to admit because then they taunt the other with it. Anyway Raven returned to find out Summer had taken over and had a daughter of her own and this broke her emotionally. Eventually Qrow and Summer took a job together and they were attacked by a mysterious figure (aka:Raven) and Qrow’s Semblance flared up and got summer killed, Raven ran and Tai broke down. After learning his brother in law saved his two daughters from certain death he snapped out of it and became a full time dad. Raven kept coming back only hiding in plain sight as a bird and when the girls were away she’d be with Tai only to run off again. Qrow on the other hand went into full time work for Ozpin being his hand in the shadow and keeping an eye on the world at large.

Blake and Yang were defending themselves against Adam who was out to kill them. A far cry from murder, which requires premeditation.

Even in self defense there is a such thing as "accesive force". Though personally at this point I'm glad they killed him off with just how shitty his character got.
