    Am I the only one who got excited because he basically read me like a book? Watching this got me so hyped and inspired to practice this. I saw completely where I was going completely wrong. Seriously I need to book a class and ticket to gain more experience because this video right here gave me a whole lot of life. Thank you for posting this.

    I'm a hobbyist doing my own nails and I thought I was doing okay with the efile before but after watching the way Greg breaks it down into such detail suddenly I find myself using my file smoothly and efficiently even with my opposite hand. Thanks!

    Hands down the best filing video on RUclips!! This video has changed my nail game in a real way. The only thing I am unsure about is nail thickness??

    • @TheNylah
      @TheNylah 5 лет назад +3

      the nail thickness comes in when its done correctly and applied the appr or desired acrylic because when you slip it thins the acrylic out and unevens it

    Greg this is (as always) incredible information. Years ago (and one of the reasons I stopped doing my Moms nails albeit badly) was that endless hand filing. OMG. I was doing data entry at the time for work and was realizing that the endless hand filing was aggravating my then early stages of RSI quite a bit with my hands. So all those years ago, I put getting my certificate on the "permanent" back burner. Fast forward to years later and I'm seeing salons with these e-files. It made things less daunting where my hands were concerned. Now, I have heard you talking about "the zones" before in your videos. However, I'm the putz that thought you were talking about the nails. Today's video you taught me that you were talking about the drill bit. Honestly, with these Nail School videos, with a set of acrylic to have a play with to get some practice in....it's just made me getting a certificate in the future A LOT more attainable. I love you guys for sharing this information. I really do. Thank you so much Greg.

    I’m glad you mentioned which direction to have your file going, depending on left of right handed. I’m left handed and been doing my own nails for about 3 months. Also, I now understand why I’ve had issues with slipping and whatnot. Y’all have helped me so much, Thank you.

Payed for naol class again was asked if I had drill and bring it. Well long story short they didn't teach anything about how to use drill NOTHING. I'm so happy I came across this tutorial!!! Thank you thank you thank you!! You were very detailed with your instructions, very informative. Now to go watch the other tutorials you have that go with this one. Sorry for the language at begining.

I'm not a pro tech yet but I've heard so many horror stories about people paying so much money to get certified and then they don't even teach them as much as people like you guys here on RUclips. I just want to learn as much as I can now so when I actually go to school and get certified I won't be left feeling intimidated because I didn't learn much! So many techs are not confident of working on people because they didn't learn enough!
