My favorite thing to knit is gloves I’ve been knitting them in pieces then stitching them together because I didn’t know it could be done like this and I prefer straight needles. This is a game changer for me. I am grateful and excited.
Is it easy I want to try and start knitting gloves but I might find it hard
Hello Brandy, I’ve been knitting for years and struggled with gloves, just found your video, it’s so clever, I’m going to make everyone gloves for Christmas. Thank you so much.
I learnt to knit a few years ago and learnt the purl sticth only now i got back into knitting and this is a really easy 'how to make' to follow and has tought me a few more things with knitting thank you for this awesome video
I just finished my first sock with a heel flap, heel turn, and gusset. Next project after the other sock is going to be a pair of gloves. I was a little worried about gloves because they look so complex. However after watching your video I feel they are well within my reach. Keep up the good work.
This is brilliant! You've helped me so much with this amazing tutorial; let me offer some helpful tips for you. A crochet hook would help you a lot when threading the ends through the tips of the fingers, and to thread your needle, lay the thread over your needle and pull it tight, pinching the thread right at the needle. Take out the needle and, keeping the thread mashed tightly between your thumb and forefinger, lay the eye of the needle over the top edge of the bend you're pinching, then just push it through. It's so much easier than trying to thread it like you do for sewing thread. Thank you for this. It's been extremely helpful!
Your welcome and thank you for your advice
Thank you so much for this truly excellent tutorial, Brandy. So clear.
Gosh I’m glad to see you aren’t a continental knitter
Ikr I love to see that I’m not the only one that knits like this on the internet (I know that’s not the case but still)
Oh!
I found your pattern below
I will knit these soon as it seems Australi winter is going to be a chilly one
Thanks again🙏
Thank you so much.😂😘🌹🌺💕👍🏼🇵🇷🇺🇲
Thank you❤
Thanks so much..so well demonstrated
Is there a written pattern I can follow.
I have found this so much easier than I thought..I really appreciate your tuition Brandy 💕💕
Can you please tell me where to find the writeen patern too?! Thanks!
Awesome thank you 🌻
Thank you so much sister
Hello love ur tutorial on glove making. Is it the same for right and left fingered gloves, or is there something different that i have to do. ❤
@@neetakumar2176 the same
Hi this is a nice pattern, love the ribbing. I would like to know how can you change the pattern for larger sizes.
Use larger needles
Very nice pattern and you are so clear with the instructions. Does that ribbing pattern have a name? I have not seen it before
Rick rack ribbing
brilliant, Brandy!!
Hello Brandy..
Thank you for your awesome glove tutorial..
If I want to make a bigger size than yours, how many stitches should I work with for the wrist and fingers. ? Please, Please..
Try using a bigger size needle and adding more length to the fingers
@@BrandyMnot a real good knitter are you.

@@BrandyM thank you so much! 😊 I plan to give these a go very soon. Should I repeat for the second glove? Is it the same? 💕
@@Lee-vm4yc Ya
Can I do these with metal chopsticks?? I don't want to buy needles in case I mess up and give up knitting 😔
Ya you can
Why do you need to do all the knit fron back in the rows are the way to making thumb hole?
For what size is the video, I need one for a man Medium
I am a new benginner and would like to learn how to knit gloves and I like the ones you are knitting, but I am not understanding the slip stitch. Could you please give instruction in a written Pattern. That would help alot of people on your video. Every time I do the slip stitch, I am losing a stitch.
Why am I watching this at 10:30 at night
You have a typo in your description. You say to cast on 36 stitches while your audio says 34.
Thank you
How could I make it for 8 - 9 year old child ?
Will you be adding the written pattern soon somewhere? Your video is easy to follow, but for someone that is more of a beginner it’s hard to keep up. Is there anywhere to find this knitting pattern you are using by chance?!?
I'm sorry, I don't have a written one yet. I will put pattern in the description box soon.
Hello Brandy, I like the tutorial, however for some reason I couldn't get my pinky and ring finger to open. Not sure what I did incorrect. Please send a pattern soon. Thank you 💞
i’m having the same issue :( not sure where i went wrong
Ill have a watch through and see if i can spot anything!! Ill let you guys know soon 😏😋
The entire glove is done through double knitting, which creates a double sided fabric that opens.
If you mess up on the double knitting pattern, you will interlock the two layers of fabric and will not be able to open that part of the knitting.
You can't do anything to fix it besides unraveling to the point that's interlocked and doing it again. Sorry!
Hi there. Do you have this pattern written down and can you share if so?
I’m sorry i don’t have a written pattern
Do you have a written pattern for these
Not at the moment, I'm sorry.
@@BrandyM No worries your video is very easy to follow. Thanks!

Dear Mam

Cast on 34 stitches
make the rubbing for 12 rows
Is this glove tutorial for an adult female. ?
Yes
Hi just wanted to ask what's the measurement of the gloves?
I’m sorry i don’t have the glove anymore but it should fit the average small adult hand
How would I make these for a 3-4 year old please
ruclips.net/video/aAiD_fmbwMM/видео.html
you told to made 34 masks, in row 5 you say knit 16, then you pearls 4, and knit 16. 16+16+4=36, how does that make any sense
Because on row 5 you make 2 kfb which gives you 4 stitches in which on the wrong side you would pearl 4 stitches
@@BrandyM okay thanks i misunderstood
anyone following along have any difficulty at the 12:21 mark with knitting these together?
Never mind! I realized my mistake, dropping a stitch makes the glove stitch together closed. Thank you :)
I’m making this for a friend and her hands are half that size
You could try using a smaller size yarn and needles or cast on less stitches
@@BrandyM?????? Not enough info.
No pattern and and doesn't understand the slip off. Guess I will not be making these gloves.
