I hate it when people compare movie sequells to the original movies especially when they're done more than 24 years apart. Gladiator is a masterpiece and yes, there's no chance this movie will be better than a single scene from the first one. But if people just tried and took Gladiator 2 as more of a separate movie I believe they would be very satisfied with it. Of course we still have 4 months until the release so no one can judge now, but let me say this. The visuals are looking phenomenal, it has great actors, hopefully a solid plot and as far as I can tell from the trailer, no woke shit. That's a good base for the movie to succeed with both critics and audiences. Can't wait to see it in IMAX. ♥
