- I got this incredible footage returning from Talkeetna in late January. You'll see the 15 miles of mountains to the east of the homestead and the beautiful descent under a full moon into the Valley. I had to descend slowly in the -20f degree air and get under some low broken clouds to land on the East-West strip. This is the first video I've posted landing on the new crosswind airstrip. I hope you all enjoy and a special thanks to the supporters on Patreon who are really motivating me to get some new camera gadgets to capture life out here! Incredibly beautiful, seeing the colors of the sunset reflecting off the snowy peaks. And another perfect landing. Seeing all the snow made me smile, as I await our first measurable snow of the year here in Philadelphia.
