- My thoughts about the Fujifilm Macro Extension Tube in use with the Fuji X-T2 and Fujinon XF 50-140 F2.8 lens!
This is not a paid review, I bought the adapter for personal use and this is my honest opinion.
I would appreciate your feedback in the comments section :-)

The Review was filmed with the Panasonic G81 with the Panasonic 12-60 F3.5-5.6 lens (main film) and the Fuji X-T2 with the XF 50-140 F2.8 lens (sample videos in the video shooting part).
All pictures were taken with the Fuji X-T2 with the MCEX-16 macro extension tube and XF 50-140 lens and edited in Adobe Lightroom 6.

Incredibly well done and very underrated! Thank you sir, highly appreciate the short yet comprehensive review and the quick addition of settings on each shot!
Thank you very much!
Thank you for this very helpful video giving an honest and critical review of the MCEX 16. Glad to get information based on real life use without overt bias.
Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you found my review useful!
Thank you very much for this video. It was very helpful with sample shoots. I have made up my mind.
Thank you, I am glad it was helpful!
I bought a cheap set of these, cost £20 for both a 10mm and 16mm, both retain the cpu contacts for data and AF. They're a bit light, and plastic, but they work the exact same as the Fuji ones besides. More suitable for smaller lenses, I use the 35mm 1.4, and it works great.
Good to know that there are good non-Fuji extension tubes out there! Have much fun with them!
Thanks for video!
You're welcome!
Interesting. Does this setup good for eye iris photography? Thanks!
FYI, this extension tube doesn't work with the Fuji 16-55mm F2.8.
is this compatible with Fuji 35mm F2 ?
Yustina Handoyono yes
what if I will add the mcex16 to my 80mm macro lens?
can it use with other manual lens brand? like Meike or 7artisan?
I could not test this at the time due to the lack of such lenses. I am sorry!
Very helpful. The only thing about this video I don't like is the lame music theme that comes back time and time again.
Thank you for the feedback!
Oww music into!
Have you tried focus stacking
No, unfortunately not.
I have also signed up to your channel. Waiting for new videos. :)
Thank you! I will be back at it soon! A break of 3 Years is clearly unacceptable!
Servus! Cooles Video!
In the video, the author talks about the difficulties of shooting macro when focusing. You can tell the guy is a macro newbie, so self macro shooter would shoot flowers in the wind.... lol!
true true, a newbie, I cannot deny that. But I think the result will be the same when something is moving. Be it the subject or the photographer :-)
Unnecessary annoying music
