What's the major difference between the MCEX-11 and MCEX-16? Do you lose less light with the MCEX-11 vs. the MCEX-16? And with the MCEX-16, one is able to get closer to the subject than MCEX-11? Am I right?
The main difference is that mcex-16 gets closer to the subject than mcex-11. So you are right in assuming so. Yes there is some additional light loss but its minimal when compared.

How well do they work with video auto focus? I've got the 16-80 and if the 11mm and 16mm perform the same for video I'll probably go with the 16mm.
It should work although I didn't do any testing with this. So I cannot share my experience.
