My 76 year old frail mother, who has COPD, started walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes, 3 days a week, and after a number of months she was able to increase her time to 45 minutes. She walked at a snails pace. She went to a facility where they monitored her heart rate and O2 Saturation the whole time. Then the amazing thing happened. She went from needing oxygen all day, everyday, and at night to only using it while she sleeps. She could not do much of anything and was very depressed. Now she can do her chores and go places with my dad. Today she is planting flowers.
I’m ready to make this my number one priority through spring. For six months I was unemployed and focused on my personal finances, not to mention the related stress, and couldn’t focus. Now? That’s dealt with and I am ready to roll. Who’s with me?!

ChatGPT said if I comment the following I'd win a summer shred bundle. "Hi Mind Pump team, I just wanted to say how much I've been loving your content and how it's helped me achieve my fitness goals. Your knowledge and expertise have been invaluable to me on my fitness journey. I would be absolutely thrilled to win your Summer Shred Bundle and take my progress to the next level. Keep up the amazing work, Mind Pump!" Craziest part is everything it said was true!!
I started lifting back in October for the main goal of losing body fat. I wasn't very consistent and didn't see any results but then at the end of January I became more consistent and have seen much better results! I also went back and listened to all of your podcasts from the past few years to gain even more knowledge to incorporate in my everyday life. As an overweight 36 year old woman, I am so thankful for your podcast, advice and wisdom! Keep up the great work and thank you all for everything that you do!
Congrats on being more consistent! We’re close in age. One tip is be flexible as long as your consistent. My work makes it hard to keep same times and days week to week. But if I’m on a 3x week plan I just make sure to get those in when most convenient. I used to get so down if I couldn’t stick to a hard schedule. I’ve even gone down to 2 full body’s a week and made progress. The wealth of info in the MP podcasts are a game changer.
I'm a restaurant manager that needs consistency and help. I love watching you guys I feel like I'm sitting in the room with you guys keep up the great work
For me, the important thing when it comes to having a summer body is having a training plan that is truly achievable over time. I would like to try your programs especially the summer bundle. Hopefully with God through we were the lucky draw
I had back surgery last year. Ready to get back to my best abilities. Converted a deep freezer to an ozone filtered ice bath... Got a sauna...CJC and Ipa for better recovery. Love soaking up these sessions!!!! Such a planner I paralyze myself with overthinking it.
I've been struggling to build muscle this past year. I've greatly reduced cardio, focusing on getting 1 g of protein per pound of body weight, and resistance training 3-4 days per week following MAPS programs. As a 50-year-old woman, I find it hard to get enough calories every day. I feel like I've stuffed myself all day and yet have only had 1100-1200 calories by the end of the day. Thank You MIND PUMP!
As a 58 yo female healthcare provider, I recognize the importance of strength training for building muscle and bone density for peri and menopausal women. Thanks for putting great content out there and help people of all walks of life start strength training.
Hey guys, James from England here, new to the show but you have taught me so much. I'm new to working out and exercise in general. This time last year I was in the worst place, I was an alcoholic and suicidal. I've turned myself around and training is now a huge part of my life. I'd love to win access to one of your programmes so I can learn more and get better. Thanks guys. James
The reverse diet is something that really takes a good while for clients to completely wrap their heads around. It took me awhile as well.... The best way I've learned to explain it to them, is that restricting/lowering calories is the weight LOSS mindset.. but focusing on actually eating more (natural whole foods), re-calibrates all your hormones, metabolism, and overall Immune Function....thus making it a weight Optimization mindset. We get all tied up into thinking we need to just lower the number, and somehow the lower the number the better. Where as weight optimization allows one to find out their body's true natural healthy weight. Thank you guys for consistently bringing this up. 🙏 Hooyah Mind Pump
I tune in everyday! I love all the conversations so much. I haven't ever done any of your programs but would be so grateful for the chance! Please pick me...please!
Hey y'all! Usually I'm just a listener but tonight for whatever reason I actually watched quite a bit, and ADAM LOOKS AMAZING! Jacked and tan and I'm inspired! And that creamy camera work on him... anyone notice that perfect camera focus and how faded out his shoe/leg is? Beautiful work! All of y'all.. with all this skill for training fitness and podcasting... total GOATS.
Long time listener, first time commenter. A friend of mine introduced me to your podcast over a year ago now and I can confidently say I've seen every single video released after that day and also I've even gone back and watched almost every single video as well. You guys have changed my life and fitness journey and I am humbly grateful for all of your knowledge and experience.
Thank you for the reminder that shortcuts are not the way to go…slow and steady wins the muscle and fat loss 💪🏻 what really helped me was the reminder that even if it’s only 15 minutes in the gym it’s doing something so to get off my a$$ and do it
I’m so grateful to have come across y’all on Max Lugavere’s podcast years ago! I instantly connected with Sal’s approach on health and fitness which got me hooked on Mindpump and I’ve never looked back since. During my evening walks with my husband, I do a recap of what I learned from “The Guys” - is what I call y’all and he knows exactly who I’m talking about. Your podcast has helped, not only my own health journey, but my clients and the growth of my nutrition and fitness business. Thank you for that! Can’t wait to share what I learned from today’s episode from The Guys on my walk this evening 😊
My one-year old son has wreaked havoc on my fitness this last year. Now that we're all sleeping better I am excited to get back in the gym and work on my "father figure." Thanks for all the great content!
As a former high-level athlete this really opened my eyes. After finally overcoming the damage accumulated over multiple back-to-back covid infections (working in healthcare is a bitch sometimes) I've unsuccessfully tried jumping straight into my old habits. I suppose i'll have to check my ego and enjoy the newbie gains once more. Thanks!
In 2 days, it'll be a month in working towards summer bod. I am 2/3 away from fat loss goal. Didn't realize it's been almost a month. I wish everyone the best on their goals. Don't stop
It is a shame that many people doesn't understand that building muscle is the most effective strategy to accomplish almost all fitness goals. They focus too much on loosing weight. Thank you for pointing out one time after another that to be successful with your aesthetics goals, muscle is the most important strategy. Great content and thank you very much for all the information.
Love the information guys, I remember the adverts for beach body ready years ago that triggered everyone. It's all about working for the long game and be healthier forever. Great show as always 🎉
I’m trying to get started to lose 10 - 15 lbs and build strength. Don’t know where to begin. Your podcasts are awesome. Thanks! I’m 55 this year and it’s hard to get started.
I just started listening last week when Chalene was on, and I'm hooked! You have me upping my meat/protein!! I've been afraid to, but not anymore! And I got rid of my scales!!! I want to order one of your plans in the near future!! I'm going to be 50 early June, so I'm looking to tone up and get rid of my lower body fat :) Thanks guys!!! Most informative stuff I've heard!! I needed this!!!
Already been subscribed but I turned notifications on! Been listening to you guys for about the last 6 months! And I’ve learned a ton already and have been entertained for sure! My boyfriend and I just bought a house and we are planning on starting the 75 hard challenge in May! One of these bundles would help us out tremendously! We both are former college athletes and are looking to maintain our fitness and health, but we are also competitive so the 75 day challenge along with one of the bundles would be a great addition to our training!
Thank you for Such Great content. As a 46 yr old post surgical menopause personal trainer & health and wellness coach for 12+ yrs also on HRT for almost 2yrs now I have struggled a bit since my body went through such a drastic change hormonally. I have been ❤❤ all the content and have been binge watching/ listening daily. I Continue to learn and grow and also have adjusted over the years how I approach clients. Thank You 🙏🏼 Again
I think it's great how you guys are aways trying so hard to be inclusive. You do a great job of making the podcast interesting for newbies and seasoned vets alike. You guys are hilarious as always! Thanks again
I totally agree with the "starting over" attitude. It hurts mentally sometimes to start over, especially when you've done it a few times, but you're right. I'd love to have one of your bundles. Hope I win.
My focus has been losing stubborn belly fat. There's not a lot to lose and I'm almost there and I'm counting every damn calorie and tracking my macros! :)
SO stoked you guys came out with an episode on this topic! My wedding is coming up in July and with your guidance, I'm the fittest/healthiest I've ever been. Y'all are the best
I started listening to you guys over Covid while I would go out for 10+ miles runs every day…. Ironic i know. But you convinced me to start lifting in order to protect my joints and longevity overall. Despite still being an avid marathoner I want to lift more. I am ready to commit to a new program to help me be my strongest healthiest self.
I listen you you guys more than any other health and fitness show, you provide so much valuable science backed information. I value this over just someone throwing random facts to consumers. Your show allows me to actually think about what I’m doing and why.I would love to take your expertise to the next level and use one of your programs to further my knowledge. I value and respect the effort you put into these programs to create well rounded training, as well as the injury prevention!! I would love to try the summer shred bundle!!! If I’m choosen 😊
I am someone who never posts or comments on social media because it's just not my thing, but this podcast has been making a difference in my life since I stumbled on it just over a month ago, so I wanted to let you guys know. Listening to your stories of when you were "young and dumb" trainers just "trying to make a sale" takes me back to when I started dating my husband who has a similar workout/training journey as you all. I listen to you while I lift weights or walk on the treadmill and find myself smiling and laughing out loud in the gym at 4am. People probably think I'm crazy! We are now 38 with kids, left CA a few years ago because of the craziness, and have similar political views, theories, etc., so I find you all so relatable! The only difference between you guys and my husband is that I am listening to your training advice. Every time the hubs has tried to train me in the past, I ended up yelling at him. I am impatient, type-A, and have never had any extra "fluff" until my second daughter was born 5 years ago. Since then, I've been cycling on and off with working out, and this is the last time that happens. I got my butt in gear 5 weeks ago trying to get ready for summer, and every time I get a little down because I'm not seeing the progress fast enough, Mind Pump refocuses me and reminds me that I'm doing the right things- getting enough sleep, focusing on protein, reverse dieting, lifting heavy instead of relying on cardio... the body recomp has begun, and I want to thank you guys for entertaining me, keeping me in check, and reminding me consistently to not fall back on cutting calories and cardio to get to the body I want.
I’ve been this weight b4 but I’ve never been in such good shape and had muscle. I’ve got another 15-20 lbs to my goal. But after losing 40lbs and keeping it off for a year I’m not afraid of going back to where I was as long as I walk and lift even with a so so diet.
You guys are the best!! Honestly I felt like I’ve already won. I have gone through 3 pregnancies and prior was in the best shape of my life…but I worked hard meaning I was running fasted every morning and doing a full body free weight session with a million reps and itty bitty weights…it was time consuming-which is why it is unsustainable for me now with little kids. I have been listening to your pod and why it was hard to mentally feel safe to keep calories high and focus on lifting. I have been doing that. I’m kind of floating on my own though and would love the MAPS shred bundle. I appreciate you guys!!
The best podcast in the fitness and entertainment space giving away the best products to get us to our summer time goals! Expect nothing less. #MindPumpRules 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
The very first thing I would address for the new beginner who wants to make a serious change in their life, whether it be losing fat or building muscle is to prepare your mind. If you don't, you will find multiple excuses for quitting. My advice for both men and women - stop worrying about the young folks who stare at you. They are beginners too. They are not laughing at you but they find it admirable that you are there trying to better yourself. I have been working out for over 50 years and I find it admirable when a woman or man who is over weight finally got brave enough to save their own lives. The few who do laugh are inexperienced fools themselves who won't last in the gym. Yes men do admire the women there. But the majority will not waste their time chasing you because they are there on a mission just like you. For the older men and women - ignore the looks from the young who are just either admiring you or worried about you hurting yourself if you are inexperienced. Also ask questions if you are not sure about how to do an exercise. Finally, do not waste time doing too much small talk with people. They are not there to socialize all day.
I've been developing the habit more steadily over the past 4 months, mostly hitting the gym for a solid year now, focusing on recovery and strength. I had an inbody scan and my muscle is well above average which is great, and I've added 50 lbs to my bench over the last year. Although it is a little late to start for summer, my goal is to get my first 300 bench by my birthday in May, then the shred will start. Thank you for all you do, building these bundles and the fact you are doing a bundle choice for the giveaway is awesome! Really hoping to win because that summer strong bundle is calling my name! Summer shred looks sick too! Might have to pick it up for my wife!
Great episode... I'm almost 41 now and all I want is getting stronger without any pain in the shoulder and the hip, like I had before! Those summer bundles looks amazing, would be awesome to win the summer strong one!
My fiancé has listened to mind pump for a few years now and finally got me on board at the start of January. After years of stupid diets and too much hiit training I am really enjoying strength training and now listen to you guys daily! I have learnt so much already from you, and now I’m focused on a long term lifestyle change instead of quick diets. Already feel so much stronger and your videos really keep me motivated. Thank you!
I really appreciate that you guys take into account lowering the risk for injury as a very big importance. So many times I see in many beginner programs with exercises that are intimidating and a ton of exercises that need to be preformed for the days. Sometimes I even get discouraged because I’m not able to finish all exercises. I like that you focus on realistic goals and the 15 minutes a day to build up the habit. I think the biggest problem for me not being able to stay consistent is that other beginners programs set unrealistic goals with exercises I’m not ready to perform. I will definitely be using your tips to build a consistent habit!! I can always count on guys for the most real gym advice 🤍 Thank you!!
I came across your channel about a week ago, and I’ve been binge listening to your content. It is so helpful. This past week, I’ve been eating protein oatmeal for breakfast, and it is so filling and satiating. I work 3 jobs, am in ministry, so it’s so difficult to find time to go to the gym. Currently trying to learn as much about short and effective workouts. This is very helpful!
As someone who has never been consistent with diet or working out this podcast has changed my habits and overall health. Thanks to you guys I have a better understanding of it all and continue to make progress. Keep blessing us 🙏🏽
First time cutting. Currently down 13lbs. Have a 4 pack and I’m going for the full shredded look. I would love the pack with reverse diet. It would come in handy once I’m done with this cut.
Invaluable information, as usual! It's so difficult having STARTED a fitness journey at 38 years old, but at 40, I'm FINALLY starting to see progress. After losing 130 pounds so far, I can't seem to break through the last 25, but this Cutting program might be exactly the ticket to figuring things out! Thank you for the continual wealth of knowledge!!
started listening to you guys back in 2018 on Spotify and had been working out since until last year. Fell off bc i partied and drank too much, gained 25lbs overweight and now plan to lose some weight. I’m on the right track haven’t had a drink since Jan 1 and have been working out 4-5 days a week since! Oh how I’ve missed feeling sore and strong!! 😅
Awesome show guys! Will start my cut next week for my vacation in late June. Going to the San Diego area for a family reunion. I will definitely work on my symmetry and carb cycling!
When I started listening to you guys I was a CrossFit fanatic! After 1 too many injuries I decided to start MAPs anabolic! Can’t wait to loose some more fat!!
Recently started listening to this great podcast and have learned so much. I’ve been training for years but have been humbled on many occasions listening and absorbing new information. Mind pump is the knowledge hub.
Mind pump team is the most mind blowing fitness channel ever! I barely listen to anybody else ever since I came across these gentlemen. It’s great content no fluff no BS. I wish I could get coached by them and erase all the painful years of yo-yo dieting and gym overkill I went through. But im starting over with what im learning here. im learning to be more patient now and consistent. Thanks guys! And you guys’ family topics are the best!
I had a shoulder injury and quit working out. Did some PT and it a little better but not normal. I’m doing lower weight exercises and taking twice as long per rep. My plan Gym full body two times. 1 hr each Ring Fit Adventure 1-1.5 hrs elliptical 30 min Run/walk 1.5 miles with my son. Quit drinking for a bit so that should help. I already eat decently.
Gotta admit… reverse dieting is the best thing I ever did. As a chronic calorie cutter I could never figure out why no matter what diet I followed I couldn’t get my body where I wanted it. I started eating above maintenance for a while before cutting a few hundred calories and WA-LAH! Results…
Over the years, I have gained a lot of weight and work out off and on. I have six children and my goals have changed from weight loss to being a good example for my children. Your podcast has been such an encouragement and is keeping me on track with my fitness. Thank you for all you do!
Big yes on the snatch grip deadlift. I do my first sets up to about 315 with snatch grip. Then I switch to conventional for the heavier sets, which makes it feel lighter. I've turned on a few people to the snatch grip deadlift at my gym, and I see every one of those people still doing it years later. It's a great variation of the lift that 99% of deadlifters never try... or even know about it.
My go-to source of information. Got me back into the gym and have been staying consistent even on my days off. Changed my mindset about lifting too, patients is key.
This is my favorite fitness podcast! I like how the content includes beginner-advanced and more nuanced topics. The special guests also provide insightful information.
Excellent information guys. I have been bouncing around to different programs without any changes in the scale or the mirror. Time to take a look at the maps
I’m really grateful for this podcast ! 😊As a new mom , i am learning to balance life in general, waking up at 5 am in order to trained at the gym - but i am in need of some guidance in terms of what workout to hit .listening to this podcast everyday i gained some new information in order to do things correctly, and gained the overall benefit ❤❤
I found you guys about 5 months ago and it started off just looking for some knowledge but you ended up being so entertaining I listened to every second of every show. Great job
Wow, Mind Pump, I can't even express how much your podcast has impacted my life. Your episodes have taught me so much about health and fitness, and have motivated me to make positive changes in my lifestyle. I remember the first time I listened to one of your episodes, I was blown away by the depth of knowledge and expertise you guys have. It's incredible how you break down complex topics into easy-to-understand concepts, and your ability to deliver it in a fun and entertaining way is just remarkable. One episode that really resonated with me was when you talked about the importance of frequency but managing intensity on different days in achieving fitness goals. Before listening to that episode, I never realized how much the intensity and junk volume were affecting my progress in the gym. I can't thank you enough for the invaluable knowledge you share with your listeners, and I hope you continue to inspire and educate people all over the world. Keep crushing it!
I really appreciate all the advice for getting back into it. I’m getting noticeable results physically, mentally and emotionally from 1 month back after about 4 years of being pretty inactive. I’m soaking in everything I can from you fellas. Thanks for the free knowledge & helping to keep me motivated!

Been listening for years, but this is my first time watching on RUclips. Love how entertaining it is on RUclips vs. listening in my car.

Adam’s head looks extra shiny with the new cameras 😁
I really appreciate how you guys promote doing things the right way, and not just doing them quickly.
U all helped me clear the muddy water when I watch a fitness influencer. I appreciate all the help!
I have definitely noticed the change in my body/muscle more than weight change
Just purchased the summer shred bundle and I am so excited!!! Thanks you guys for all the wonderful info you share with us!
Great! Hope you love it!
Dude so much info, you guys help us truly understand what fitness really is
I am someone who never posts or comments on social media because it's just not my thing, but this podcast has been making a difference in my life since I stumbled on it just over a month ago, so I wanted to let you guys know.
Love the show and all the information you provide!
Beach season's coming! One of the perks of living in Los Angeles. 😎
Love you guys, I have been listening since the release of anabolic and Justin's journey through it
You all must’ve been reading my mind today. You’ve described so many things I’m recently discovering about myself and my training.
Great episode...
I'm almost 41 now and all I want is getting stronger without any pain in the shoulder and the hip, like I had before!
Those summer bundles looks amazing,
would be awesome to win the summer strong one!
Thank you!
You guys are awesome! They way you explain things is on point. Even a country boy like myself can understand!
Keep blessing us 🙏🏽
I have been trying out maps anabolic on RUclips and so far I am on day 4 and already feeling a difference love this show 💪
Excited as ever for summer as I will be finishing my first MAPS program! ( Anabolic Advanced)
My plan
Gym full body two times. 1 hr each
Ring Fit Adventure 1-1.5 hrs
elliptical 30 min
Run/walk 1.5 miles with my son.
Results…
Love the show yet again gents 👏
Thank yall for all this information and helping me get on the right road.
Over the years, I have gained a lot of weight and work out off and on. I have six children and my goals have changed from weight loss to being a good example for my children. Your podcast has been such an encouragement and is keeping me on track with my fitness. Thank you for all you do!
With all that working out in the bedroom to have 6 kids you should have an 8 pack! 😂
High quality, straight forward information fellas! Great episode!! 💪🏾
Carb cycling is the go, lower it 100grams or less on off days higher on training days.
This is my favorite fitness podcast! I like how the content includes beginner-advanced and more nuanced topics. The special guests also provide insightful information.
Three weeks into phase one "MAPS Anabolic" and already feeling stronger than ever each week, and seeing results as well. Satisfied customer 👍
Excellent information guys. I have been bouncing around to different programs without any changes in the scale or the mirror. Time to take a look at the maps
Ooh! Such a great episode! Just came out of a short 3 month bulk and been cutting for a month
You guys have helped so many people. You guys have blessed my life with all your knowledge. ❤
Great job
Lots of great info here, thank you for providing it!
You never disappoint. You’re seriously taking over this industry
I really appreciate all the advice for getting back into it. I’m getting noticeable results physically, mentally and emotionally from 1 month back after about 4 years of being pretty inactive. I’m soaking in everything I can from you fellas. Thanks for the free knowledge & helping to keep me motivated!
