Woodturning - a Summer Flower |

In this video, I create a stunning Summer Flower on the Record Power Coronet Regent wood lathe.
Using the Easy Wood Tools mid-size range with standard rake cutters, I shape the flower before sanding it with Klingspor Abrasives, progressing from 120 to 400 grit for a smooth finish.
I apply vibrant Hampshire Sheen Carnival Colours, followed by Hampshire Sheen Sanding Sealer to prepare the surface.
To protect against the elements, I use Ronseal Yacht Lacquer, applying three coats.
Finally, I carve the petals using the Dremel 8240.

Spalted Ash Wood
