Hopefully Akko releases more interesting updated switches. Would like to see different materials like their full POM switches get the new housing and stems. A bit disappointing that the Blacks aren't much of a difference... At least they could have done a heavier 60g double spring
The Matcha Green v3s are supposedly heavier with than these & originals. Im a bit interested to try em. They are also .5mm longer travel (3.8mm) than blacks & should have the same longer pole like the lavenders & blacks so probably a shorter tighter spring than blacks.
loving those new lavender purples! eyeing for that
Wheew. Thanks for that short comparison of pianos and v3 black. Just ordered pianos over this cheaper v3 black. Guess its a wise choice made
FINALLY A REGIEW FOR THESE SWITCHES I already bought the cream black v3 pros am not disappointed
I think along with the v3 pro blacks and lavenders they also released the v3 pro silvers. I agree with how the pro blacks sound they are the yellow pros with a heavier spring. Hope the v3 pro silvers sounds close to how the OG silvers sounds but I think it will sound just like the v3 yellows but It would be alot more clacky because of the longer stem pole?
tl;dr if you already have cream yellow/cream blue pros. No need to get these, still waiting for Akko to make another switch like the CS Piano instead of going the safe route and having basically the same switch with different springs. Apparently these switches were made by a different manufacturer that isn't KTT, some say Outemu (because of the way the dustproof stem looks) some say Huano. I'll update this when I find out.
They actually accidentally released the Akko CS Piano v3 Pro on their site a few weeks ago. But they took it down shortly after. The image was basically CS Pianos with a dustproof stem and a different housing iirc.
@@NyangisKhan the only major pro of the piano pros is that it is cheaper than regular pianos. Otherwise its basically still the same switch. Also Piano Pros have already been out for a long time (they sold them as part of the Prebuilt NEW Akko Mod007 PC boards and now they're selling the piano pros in the Monsgeek M1W as well) they just havent started selling them seperately. Also it's not taken down. It's out of stock because people bought it out so fast 💀
@@SylveightyOoof! So they sold out _that_ fast? I just thought they added them by accident seeing how they were never in stock. But damn! The switches are popular.
Hi did you find out the manufacturer for the new piano pros? I’m concerned they will sound far from the original and will just be similar with the yellow pros like what happened to the new black and lavender pros. Hope you can update if you find anything. Thanks.
@@Walkdthock They are manufactured by Huano
Aren't the yellows long pole? They so sound somewhat similar but the yellows are definitely brighter and louder to my ears tham the blacks. I love the way the Purples sound but don't like that long bump, I agree with you 100% on that one. To me the Blues just feel better and the sound is nice, different, but still nice. Great review! I'm loving what Akko has done this year!
Hey man, hope you can get to review the new creamy purple pros on your qk65!
Prices have already gone up quite a bit. The Black Friday sale prices were the same as those you mentioned for only some of the switches. These are kind of surprising price increases, especially in a rather short amount of time. They are still a bargain compared to most comparable offerings, however.
How different is the tactility of the lavender pros compared to the original lavender purples?
I want to know that too
I own the Cream Blue Pro's and old Purple Lavenders. I found the old purple lavenders were quite a bit louder than the new Blue Pro v3's. So I'm slightly disappointed to hear these new lavenders are quieter than their predecessor.
i think i will go with akko piano over cream black. but new lavender purple are insteresting
Hey Merk! Does the tactile bump for lavendar pro is the same as its original lavender purple? And how about the sound comparing both switch?
Might stick to original Lavender Purple
Can i ask is it easy to cute the extra 2 plastic stems i have 3 pin socket huhu i really want those
Hey! sick video, just wondering what are the keycaps you are using on the first clip?
using the penguins, amazing silent switches.
I think Akko completely dropped the ball on the cream black pros. Like stated, they are just recolored cream yellow pros with a slightly different spring. However, so much WASTED potential because they SHOUDL’VE been an upgrade to the generally well loved Jelly Blacks (one of my favorite switches ever made!) and it’s really not. By making it another billionth long pole design, it completely loses the feel that make jelly blacks feel like jelly. They feel faster and are clackier and louder - nothing like the jelly black.
I for one was SO excited for a jelly black upgrade as there’s so much potential, I bought cream yellow pros (more readily available than the new cream blacks in my area) and swapped the stem with original jelly black stems and spring. Kept the great housings of the cream yellow pros. Used little black films on them and now they look like little bumble bees! Now they sound and feel exactly the way cream black pros SHOULD’VE been and I LOVE THEM. I daily use these now. Akko doesn’t usually miss this badly and it had to be on the switch I’ve been looking forward too for so long! Guess you gotta do something’s yourself…
hey can you specify what those black films are? im kinda new. thank you!
did this and it gave a surprisingly deep sound on mine that doesnt carry over any of the plasticky sound that akko jelly switches can have. it also sounds surprisingly deep and poppy, on par with my inks while the jelly sounded more clacky and more like a JWK
well, the black pro is just sidegrade of the yellow pro. if you dont like the yellow pro for being too light then get the black pro. it is also clackier than the yellow pr
On Akko website, they state for the V3 Lavender Purple Pro a work force auf 40 grams. Your videos says 45 grams. What is it? Can you say how long the spring is?
the pro ver of lavender purple seems deeper :o i have the non-pro ones and they're way poppier & high pitched
Vega Ai03 sounds so much better to me, that alu plate, mwuah chef's kiss
It's too difficult to find out which build you have in each sound test, especially since you only display it for a few seconds.
I wonder how these purples compare to the jelly ones...
Same here. To me the specs look a lot more like a Jelly Purple with a 5pin Nylon bottom housing, than a reworked Lavender Purple.
Ano pinaka buttery smooth sa lahat akko linear switches?
how do the lavender pros compare to something like durock t1s or mx browns?
The Cream Black is such a let down. They could had created an even cheaper black ink or oil king, but they make a cream yellow clone instead.
How do the lavender pros compare to the original lavenders?
hey bro, which one the switch having high pitch?? black or lavender ??
can't decide Akko V3 Lavender Purple Pro vs Cream Blue 😅
want a tad mid tactility and a bit deeper sound...
I just bought both of them. It’s just $13 per 2 packs -90 switches in aliexpress
Sir san pwede maiscore yun Cable na gamit mo? Thanks!
Will the Cream Black pros be a good alternative to akko cream yellows? I cant find akko cream yellows on sale here in PH anymore :(
Yup they’ll be pretty much the same :)
@@Merkeebs thanks! was really looking for similar sound signature to the regular cream yellows on similar price point
nice bro!
What mouse you use?😅
What’s the difference of the black cream and jelly black
Cream Black is the updated (5 pin) version of the Jelly Black.
write the name of your rug
Where to buy these blue cherry keycaps?
why are you comparing the cream blue pros to the purple blue pros? that totally defeats the purpose of the video
how it defeats the purpose of the video? it's in the title bro "and".
