Very well done. The use of an "every day carry" camera to document family and community life is so important. Happy New Year.

Thank you Ahmed for sharing those precious moments with us! The part starting @1:09 about about slowing down and reflect on our lives is beautifuly said and more relevent then ever. I'm carrying an a6100 with a 23mm f1.4 Viltrox lens for the same reason. Anyways, just found your content today, good stuff! :)

Salam aleykum Ahmed- Thank you for sharing your thoughts and photos. It was a pleasure to see them and an inspiration to try to take my X100V more with me when going out with the kids. I have phases when I take the camera with me every day but there are times when I leave or dont even touch the camera for days. Its somehow paradoxical, on the one side I want to capture the precious moments (and I'm always thankful when I see the X100V photos after the import), but on the other side I like to not do anything with technology while I'm with my family if you know what I mean.

Salaam! Yes I know exactly what you mean. I have a rule which is the take out the camera, capture a few frames, then put it away in a different room. I have it out for maybe 15 minutes, at each new place we go to, capture some photos/videos, then it goes in a drawer or a backpack. This way you can experience your family while also having some memories captured.

@@eidfilms Thats a great rule to keep onto. Thanks.
I just took just a few photos of the kids at home today and man, the custom recipes for the X100V are too good! Love how the photos come out of the Fuji.

@@atilla1950 yeah there's almost too much customization that they allow you to have in camera :)
In the ethos of minimalism, I stick to Classic Chrome and call it a day.
If you have any tips for recipes for a particular ones that you like to use, please let me know.
