    My granddad and I used to play this game side by side when I was a kid and visited my grandparents on the weekend, and I still play. The man would CONSTANTLY crush the game on Sid with, get this, the Americans. He would work on the same game save for actual weeks. I still don't fully understand how, but he would just survive until the Industrial era into the modern era. Sometimes I would play his older saves, and the map would just be full of American baby blue territory, and covered in captured cities named "Austin 1 to X", he'd name captured cities after me lol. He would play past a victory condition to literally conquer the world. When you look at the current frontlines, you just see stacks over stacks of Radar Artillery, Tactical Nukes, Mech Infantry and Modern Armor.. and captured workers that he would NUKE to get rid of so he wouldn't have to manage/wait for after ending turns lmao.
    Some of my favorite memories with this game. I miss that man.

    • @suedeciviii7142
      @suedeciviii7142  Год назад +3

      It's nostalgia + genuinely being an amazing game. But because the game has incredible replay value, I don't think that's bad? Like, I wish I could play Mario 64 or w/e for a decade and not get bored but sadly that's not possible.

    • @ethanpayne4116

      @@suedeciviii7142 If you get into romhacks or speedrunning then you can totally play Mario 64 indefinitely and not get bored, assuming you already enjoy the features of the vanilla game. Civ (and many many other games) are like chess in that they are adversarial and thus timeless, whereas sm64 is a single-player experience so the players have to set their own goals after they "complete" the main quest

    I think that third thing to the right if its for gunpowder is the metal bit of the firearm that contained a bit of flint that when it struck the pan would cause a spark that would light the gunpowder that then would case a reaction that would fire the bullet forward. the top bit when you fire would pivot forward (to the right here).
    also I think a lot of the tech from I seen upp untill 4:02 are basic shapes made in a 3d modeler and then renderd whit no extra effect remember this is 1995 rendering just the default cubeplaced on some flat plane in blender whit two light sources pointing at it today takes about 0.005 sec would take about a hour back then if not more.

      I guess it is different in countries, but in Hungary afaik it's mandatory to mark documents as secret / top secret. It's a distinction that you should not open the folder and/or should return the document to a police department or other place.

    • @youmukonpaku3168
      @youmukonpaku3168 Год назад

      that sounds like how secret documents are typically handled elsewhere, although it's usually marked at the top of each page and there's typically a colored border around the documents (and sometimes on the folders) here, not bold block letters that might as well say STEAL ME. I think our system is derived from the USA's, but I haven't gotten a look at any American secrets. Maybe I should check my garage and/or War Thunder's forums?

    Civ 3 were my first civ, when I was 11. And it is a first videogaming love. Something you just can't undone. So I always missed for art design features in later games of series. I will just left them here cause why not.
    1. Leaders appearence based on era of their development. Bald Jeanne d'Arc. Damn I really remembered the image when saw V for Vendetta. And it was so engaging and funny sometimes. Evolution of engagement is riding a wrong way with the series.
    2. Abandoned feature. Definetly exessive, but... The palace view. I just liked it.
    3. Another abandoned one. The most tearful for fans. And mine tears are a part of the bowl. City view. It was a level of flowing artifical ingame glory that never been brought to me by any other game.
    4. The weird one. I absolutly loved the way railroad grid looked like in third civ. I was obssesive with desire to cover all my territory by railroad in fifth civ. And it look horrendous.
