    Hi Greg. Really enjoyed this. I hadn't realised that I could use the Lumenzia Basics panel for a sky layer mask ! I'll use that all the time now ! Many thanks for sharing.

      Super handy, and it does more than the default option in PS as you can make it work with all layers (blended image), not just the active layer.

      @@gregbenzphotography Funny enough, same thing happened when I was in Joshua Tree and I photographed Penguin rock and the tree and then a couple of days later you released the video about removing dust spots. Something's going on here! ahah

    Greg, I'm going to try your shorter exposure method. What interval do you use between exposures? Thanks.

    Awesome work... How can you do the sky mask with Lumensia?

    • @gregbenzphotography
      @gregbenzphotography  Год назад +1

      Various options with luminosity selections. You can also use the "Sky" button in the Lumenzia Basics panel.

    Love this tutorial.. thankas again. So, I'm a moron and set my internal too long. :-D Namely, my shutter was set at 30" and interval at 60". So my trail end have a 30" gap. Any way to fill such a large gap?

      Could try to rotate your image with the center of rotation set to the North Star (ie duplicate and blend in lighten blend mode)

      @@gregbenzphotography Thanks, I just thought of that as well, however for this image I'm not totally north as I like to get the hourglass effect when including a bit south of "due west". Might have to crop. ;-) Lesson learned I suppose. Check your settings. ;-)

      @grega9220 yeah, so many things to remember with a complex shot like that

    Hey Greg, excellent video! I have 1 question though, when I go to stamp visible like you do at 8:00 I get horrible banding in the stamped layer. Do you have any idea why this would be happening and how I could prevent it? Thanks

    • @gregbenzphotography
      @gregbenzphotography  2 года назад +1

      There shouldn’t be any banding when creating a flattened layer (often it helps get rid of false banding actually). Feel free to send me a screenshot showing before and after with the layers visible

      @@gregbenzphotography yeah that's what I thought 🤔 I'm going to try and reload the images into PS and restart the process 😅 if it still is having issues I'll send you the before and after. Where is the best place for me to send them to?
