How we feed cows in the new barn | Cow Palace - Ep73

Chores in our new barn look a lot different than they did in the old barn.
Feeding, for instance, has changed a lot, given that most of the herd is now under one roof, instead of being at two different farms. (Remember that time we filled the silo for the last time: • Let's Get the SILO Fil... )
We still start around 5am, mixing things for the dry cows, heifers and then the milk cows. The challenge we have right now, is our mixer still isn't suited to the new barn. In fact, it simply doesn't fit. Hopefully within another week or two the new conveyor is (finally) ready from the factory and we'll be able to shave two hours off our chore time.
But until then - come along and see how we mix and then feed everything!
