Happy 50th anniversary to this great song, it was released this time in 1974! It’s early June 2024 as I post my comment. May it live on for another 50 years!!!
This came out during America's greatest time. I was a Junior in High School and remember listening to this song on the car radio on my way to school with my buddies. Please bring America back to her greatness.
There's a viny record on ebay of this it says first class beach baby part's 1 and 2 its on a black label not the blue UK records version I didn't know they did a part 2 🤔unless its one with the dj on the beginning it's £15 😊😯
Looks like everybody's doing good today those girls came along one out of a hundred now they're everywhere everybody's got one and eating our lunch just like the cops eat your lunch
Very true; although by Brits, this song seemed like a homage to the Beach Boys in their heyday a decade earlier, from the tight vocal harmonies to the surfing themes. Very good song and very well done. It makes me wish that the writers had somehow been able to offer this to the Beach Boys to sing.

I agree, they DO sound reminiscent of The Beach Boys, who had launched their career just 12 years prior.
