    I wondered if you videoed...or took photos...when dismantling, cos it's not always easy to follow the exploded parts diagrams. Also wondered whether you had considered using semi permanent Loctite on some of those engine bolts. Before I split the cases on my XJ00, I like to think it through

    I've never worked on a Harley or other engine that has them.

    Your camera needed some realignment. It was more focusing on you than on the engine. Beside this the video is so instructive

    Is the dohc much different

      Probably. I've never worked on one. Sorry I'm not much more help. I'd start with the Shop Manual for your year/model and start going from there. It's much easier if you follow the shop manual and work on the bike chapter by chapter.
