Thank you so much for another great video! We had the plan to make a video to introduce the tools in toolbox too but haven't got time to start yet. How nice you are!
Love your videos! We are about to take delivery of our Nova 24! Very excited. My sweet husband is going to build a stand for me. Can you tell me what material and thickness you put on the top? Thanks for any help!
Hey Jillian, congrats on your 24, your going to love that laser! I used 3/4” melamine on mine. It’s worked out great, very easy to clean but any 3/4” sheet material would work!
Nice video sir, I appreciate all the info. I recently purchased a Nova 24 and am waiting on delivery. I want to build a cart similar to yours but would like the chiller sitting on a shelf under the laser so it can be removed easily for maintenance. However I have been unable to find dimensions on the chiller. Could you provide the dimensions of yours please?
the problem you will have if you build a shelf under the laser is the cart height will be tall enough that the controller will be very heigh. if you tall 6’ or taller that might be ok. The chiller stands about 19” tall. I’m 5’7” and with the dems on this cart the controller comes to my upper chest all ready.
I'm a fan of your video on cleaning the lens and mirrors on the Thunder Laser. Would you please add a video on both the daily and weekly checklist for Thunder? Their checklists are pretty vague for ordinary users. I'm trying to find a complete video on changing the chiller water specifically. I know your video would be thorough and easy to understand. Thank you in advance.
hey thanks for the review. Question for u. Does the 24 have adjustable feet? Just curious if leveling is important. Other Thunders do have leveling adjustments. Thanks much!!
no the feet on the 24 are fixed. no adjustment so the table or platform that you put your 24 on needs to be well built and fairly level. they don’t need to be perfectly level
I have screws that are easy to get to Remove one brace on the side and pull it out from under for service or water change. Works great. Very limited space. Would recommend for the chiller go go beside the laser.
Hi! Great review! Thanks do much for all the info! I really like your cart and its simplicity. Do you have a video with a tutorial on how to make it? I would really like to do it myself but have never made a table and since its for such a heavy machine Im afraid it will not work..
the stock compressor delivers about 5psi to the nozzle the external air set up will deliver 55psi max. this makes much better cleaner cuts, no start cutting marks amd overall faster cuts.
Hi... i just bought one, waiting for delivery. Question about your table dimensions... you mentioned your table is 46 inches wide but in the website it says the machine is 54 inches... I'm confused about what size the width should actually be.
Hi Adam, Congrats on your new laser, I absolutely love mine and use it every day. It’s a workhorse. the table is 46” wide the 54” that they refer to is the laser tube that sticks out the right side in the back of the machine. If you bought a Nova 24 60 watt. If you look at the video look towards the back of the machine on the right side and you can see the tube extension.
@@robertkofoed9118 oh, that makes sense... i saw that stick out, and in the dimension in the site, but didn't factor that out. Thanks for the video, I'll be building mine next weekend and eagerly waiting delivery. I'm using it for my trophy business.
No the base is actually 22 3/4” not including the 3” coasters. 25 3/4” from the floor to the top of your cart. This will give you a 36” working height.
Excellent review. Owner of Nova 24-60W myself. Welcome to the Thunder family!
Thank you!

Great review! Does your horizontal bracing on the cart block your chiller if you had to remove it?
I have screws that are easy to get to Remove one brace on the side and pull it out from under for service or water change. Works great. Very limited space. Would recommend for the chiller go go beside the laser.

Sorry I don’t have a video for that cart. It’s made from 4”x4” for the legs and all 2x4’s for the rest of the frame.
excellent job ....
Thanks a lot!
What size is your stand?
I discuss this in this video.
Awesome video! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for sharing!
I appreciate the comment, there great machines
Do you have plans for the base you could share? Thank you!!
Hi Robin, no I don’t have one for the 24. There is a good one in the files section of the Global Thunder Facebook page .
@@computercreationz thank you!!
Maybe I missed it but what shop air do you run? Is it more powerful than what they sent?
I had a 60 gallon shop compressor hooked up and 55psi to,the laser. Makes a huge difference in cutting
@@computercreationz perfect. Thanks so much!
What is the difference between the compressor that thunder supplies & having shop air?
the stock compressor delivers about 5psi to the nozzle the external air set up will deliver 55psi max. this makes much better cleaner cuts, no start cutting marks amd overall faster cuts.
Thank you so much for this info! So I could just buy an air compressor and hook that up to it? I'm in the middle of buying one right now 🤗
@@krissyjohnson2246 yes be sure to buy an air regulator and moisture trap and install it right before it goes into the laser
@@krissyjohnson2246 if you goto thunderlaserusa.com in there knowledge and search external you will get all you need
@@computercreationzdo you have anywhere what you bought for this?

Are the casters 3” including the base?
