Wonderful version of a very daily life Russian dish!! I can only imagine how much better it is with wild mushrooms you pick yourself! Cooking the onions, mushrooms, and potatoes separately one after each other (I used the same skillet) made the dish!! I have made it before where the mushrooms are overcooked (because the potatoes can take so long to cook) and disintegrate. This time you could taste the flavor and texture of the mushrooms and they were perfectly cooked!! I also loved the thyme and added a little salt and pepper and dill in there also. Отлично 👍 спасибо большое 😊

You forgot to add the garlic. I got all this chopped garlic and I don;t know what to do with it.

You are right, I'll pin the comment about it! The garlic is added to the onions, when the onions are almost ready, and they are fried together just for a minute more. The detailed instructions are in the written recipe: happybellyfish.com/recipe/mushroom-fry-with-potato-traditional-russian-recipe/ That said, the classicrecipe is just with the onion, so you can skip the garlic also :)

You're watching a traditional cooking video, for free, and all you can do is complain? And you felt strongly enough about being rude that you went to the effort to write a comment?? Wow.
