Thank you. Very informative. I’m in the UK and have just placed an order for my brand new 2020 Mini Cooper Sport. White Silver with the black trim and loads of cool options. £25;000 in UK. Would have liked a convertible but impractical in cold Britain. 6 weeks to delivery and counting! Excited is an understatement. Your videos are very helpful.
Good job with your MINI videos! I have owned MINIs for just about 10 years now. I started with a 2010 Clubman S with the N14 engine. The car had a few of the common problems but I took it to 130,000 miles. I then owned a 2014 Clubman S with the N18 engine. I now own a 2008 Hardtop S that I bought used with only 47,500 miles. It is my daily driver. I have a great affinity for the brand and its history.
I just love this review! I'm in the UK and I find a lot - not all - of British reviews quite negative about the magnificent MINI - and I am lucky enough to be taking delivery of a British Racing Green (with black roof and wing mirrors) some time this week - cannot wait so excited!!

The Fuel Gauge and the position of the drive mode swich changed in 2017
I also miss the cargo position option for the rear seats.

I have a 2020 Cooper S (looks exactly like the one in your video - British green, white top and white mirror caps, but with Iconic trim) - that I'm still learning my way around. I can't figure out how to download music from my cell phone (NOT an Apple iPhone) to the car's hard drive. The manual doesn't seem to address this. Can you offer any help?
Dude, I am trying to decide between buying a 2020 S or base model Cooper both with Signature trim. Do you know if the S stops at a shorter distance than the base? Also, the dealer I am working with on the sale is strongly suggesting I purchase before the end of this month to get the "great deal" do you think there will be even sweeter deals to be had in August on the S as Mini dealers try and clear out inventory to make room for the 2021s? Is this car comes with the adaptive cruise control or just regular? Pedestrian detection is only wanting or also stopping by itself? Forward collision warning is only warning or stopping by itself?

I was at the showroom here in the UK checking out the mini cooper and they had one in British racing green and I passed a comment to the sales guy that the British racing green available isn't a true BRG the true BRG is darker and he replied it's the newer version of the BRG but I do like it.
I have a 2016 Mini Cooper S 3D Hatch in Melting Silver, I can certify that my cruise control buttons are on the left & radio, phone & voice command controls are on the right..

The 3cyl turbo is quite peppy! Lots of torque for its size.
@@TheMINIac My 2014 3cyl turbo had driving modes on the shifter and the base of it..maybe it was optional, not sure..but it was a very fun car.
How reliable is Mini Cooper these days? And how about the annual cost for maintenance?

For around 30hp gain I would strongly suggest a stage1 ecu remap instead of just those 3 hardware mods that you proposed. Cheaper, faster, easier :)
Apart from that, nice details, I didn't know that trick with parcel shelf wrapping around trans tunnel :)

My 2019 Cooper has self-park function. Do you reference this anywhere? So far it's been a failure for me. One time it mounted the sidewalk and the other time was equally as unsuccessful. I must be doing something wrong.

I‘ll sign a contract this friday for a Cooper S with Works Kit but can’t decide because of the colours. I like the Enigmatic Black with white roof but a few minutes ago i came across British Racing Green. Is BRG only this light if the sun shines directly on it? Because when you see pictures it‘s almost like Rebell Green which is to dark for me.

recently test drove three Cooper S and one JCW. all of them have interior rattles from different spots. And they are all within 2 years old. They rattle worse than a 5 year old Mazda 3. I want a mini but im concerned of the quality over time

Really not much different from my 2015 4 door hardtop. Biggest difference is the safety measures and look of side mirrors.
its only a advanced facelift of the 2014 model. The headlights and frontbumper also changed a bit. The headunit has a newer touch based software and some other minor stuff. nothing big.
For europe all gas driven engines from 03/2018 or newer are equipped with a soot particle filter for the Euro 6d temp and Euro 6 emmision standards.
