- The newly opened Atal Tunnel (World's longest tunnel over 10,000 ft) has eased the road to Lahaul and Spiti by bypassing Rohtang Pass. It has reduced the travel time from Manali to Keylong by 3-4 hours and exponentially increased tourist arrivals in Lahaul valley.
We took a day trip from Manali via Atal tunnel to Sissu (where we spotted amazing autumn leaves), Keylong (the district headquarters) and to Deepak Tal- a total distance of nearly 120 km one-way.
This trip was in mid-October 2020.

Beautiful. Been to these places in July 2019...but the weather change brings difference in landscapes... So an October plan is waiting it seems.
Vlog was good as always. But towards the end those sunrays at the top of the mountain stole the show.
