bhai ye tunel 2012 se banna shuru hui thi.

J. Nehru wanted to build a rope way back in 1965.but didn't.
Then in 1986 Understood the Importance of having a bridge.
In 2002 Attal Behari Vachpai proposed for the Tunnel and Laid an Approach Road to Tunnel by 2003 Dec.
Then in 2010 Then UPA chair person Sonia ji laid foundation stone.
By 2014 only half of the tunnel work completed. 4.4/8.8 KM.
Then By 2019 Tunnel is completed and PM modi named it as Attal tunnel.
And in 2020 PM modi Inaugurated the tunnel.
You can see tha pace of how attal tunnel works are done. From 2003 to 2010 no progress and even after that it is lika a snail walk.
But from 2014 it againe gained pase. Man behind this speed is Gadkari. So now you are clear about the Rohtang tunnel or ATTAL tunnel .
And Gadkari can rightly called father of modern Indian infrastructure.

Ye tunnel 2000 mein sanction hui thi swayam Atal ji dwara, 2002 me kaam initially start ho gaya tha, phir BJP haar gyi aur kaam ruk gaya. 2010 mein Sonia ne phir se inaugrate kiya (video available hai net pe), 2014 tak 3.5 km ka gadda hi khod paye congress bss. Isse zyada kuch nahi. Sara paisa kahan gya? Ye toh Gandhi parivar hi jaanta hai. Beherhaal, 2014 me sarkar badli, aur saari khudai aur pura construction, 6 saal k andar Nitin Gadkari ne karwa k pura kar diya. Islye unko shreh diya jata hai. Sapne dekhne se credit nahi milta, paise churaane se nahi milta. Kaam karne se milta hai. Maaf karna agar bura laga, par yhi ka rehne wala hun, saamne ki baat hai, sabka jaanna zaroori tha.

Now, there are these major tunnel projects going on in India :
1. Z-morh
2. Zoji La
3. Khellani
4. Shinkun La
Apart from these there are tons of several other small/minor roadway/railway tunnels being dug out in J&K, Ladakh, Northeast.
Infrastructure building has been exceptional under the Modi govt. Massive respect

@@thecraftsman915 But execution can only be done when government allows it . Government in power makes the plan,the engineers, technicians and rest put the plan in action. They can't do it on their own. No country flourishes without good governance. Look at the condition of Pak,Sri Lanka drowned in debts of BRI(China),but India is using its own head,hands and heart. So the gentleman having commented here to whose comment I am replying is absolutely right.
@@thecraftsman915 engineering excellence & tenacity of military, are constant. Both factors were already present. All they needed was someone to back them up and give them a target to achieve. Our PM is giving them exactly that - a target, via his vision. Every great engineering marvel begins with an idea - usually, via a visionary leader.

@@aleenaali126 ohh i see 👀. Ali is word mostly shia muslim used. In j&k shia has sufficient population, because of that reason Iran helped to Pakistan to train and conduct ter*ror activity in j&k since 1992.
It took us almost 30 years to complete this tunnel. But now that we have, the next tunnel at Shinku La should not take more than 3 years. That's how much experience helps engineers. Work on that tunnel has already begun.
Also, tunnels under Sela La in Arunachal, Sinthan Pass in Anantnag, Jalori Pass in Shimla district and Bhu Bhu Pass in Mandi district are also under process for decades. I hope they don't take as long.
Umasi La tunnel connecting Kishtwar to Zanskar has also been mooted.
Zoji La & Z Morh tunnels in Kashmir are nearing completion too. Shudhmahadev tunnels in Kishtwar are also progressing well.
So proud of Indian Army it proves that indian army excellence in all sphere🇮🇳🇮🇳
