The more Austin changes, the more Barton Springs stays the same...

I remember registering in the Erwin center in the fall of 87'. They went to TEX (telephone enrollment exchange) soon thereafter.

Aw I’m going to send this to my BFF. We graduated HS in 1988 and she went to UT. What’s funny is she moved away and I’m still here. 😃

I'm gonna feel maladapted to 2018 if I spend too much time in the past here ;)
I went to UT in 1992, but I spent a lot of time there in the mid-80s with my stepdad who was a professor in the College of Education.

@@penelopepitstop762 I do remember the awesome campus film showings....$20 for a 10-punch ticket, The Union, Hogg Auditorium, Batts Auditorium. I went to more movies in college than I have since...I was underage for 6th Street most of my time there, funny that they emphasize that in the video.

@@catenaire are you still in the area? My best friend went to UT. We were both from Houston and graduated HS in 1988. I moved here shortly after that and I’m still here!

Man, that clown with his crazy car. The big hair, the laid-back attitude. Today's Austin wouldn't understand any of it. How I wish I could be there right now....
