Hi I just finished mine and it's so cool! I was just wondering though, at the end when you are done what do you do with the extra yarn hanging out of the brim? cut it?

you can tie it off real good and cut it or simply use a tapestry or yarn needle to weave it into the stitches

do you think using a 7mm hook would be better? i don't have 6mm but i have 5mm and 7mm but i think the yarn i'm using (the same aldi one in pink) would be too large for it, what do you think? let me know if you can and i love your videos

You can use a 7mm hook, just work the base of the hat up to 8" (it will be less rows than in the video) and then work the body of the hat as usual

Switching yarn colors in crocheting is really easy! As long as you learn how to do it then that would be no problem and you can add as many colors as you’d like!

I think there’s something wrong with round 7. I keep getting 5 sc at the end instead of 4, I tried like 15 times on the same round and even tried to start over worried I did something wrong earlier. Help

Please don't worry about it. Differences with 2-3 stitches will not affect the pattern. Keep going with 1 less stitch and enjoy creating x

All yarn is different. You can see either the pattern is good for your yarn after 3 rows. Ideally it should be a nice flat circle or just little bit curved. Then it will be great. Thank you for your feedback 👍
