Taehyun uses this kind of raspy, “strained” voice even more in the live performances! He makes it sound so emotional and almost pained. He’s crazy for this.
The first time I heard him growl in the live stage I could hardly believe my own ears 🙃 I'm shook by the live vocals for this song ..... the vocal "effects" in the chorus by Huening Kai and Taehyun is really what makes this feel a 1000 times more passionate ❤️❤️
I'm so obsessed with this. There's such a visceral kind of nostalgia and pain and joy, and Seori adds such a gorgeous tone that's delicate and sweet and vulnerable. Taehyun absolutely ripping through those lines makes me wanna eat my own heart out istg
It’s surreal for me!! The nostalgia is real!! I see many elements true to my actual mid 1980’s experience, growing up Pre-Grunge era, Olympia, WA. It takes it to a whole new level being produced and performed by BigHit and TXT!!
this comeback really does feeling like txt's crowning achievement in their discography so far. almost as if txt's career so far has been building up to this and it's just truly amazing!
This song leaves such a strange aftertaste. It sounds joyful and sensual, but at the same time with warmth in the soul it is still somehow heavy and sad. Like a piercing cry from the soul about what has accumulated. Feeling like something bad has happened. You feel despair, but life still goes on. 🥺 And if initially I didn't really like the MV, because it is quite simple, muted according to the color palette and at first glance uncomplicated, now I think that it ideally suits the song, complementing its atmosphere of adventure and freedom, as well as its message, and reinforcing conflicting emotions. About the meaning: Yeonjun in this MV is shown as a depressed and lonely teenager who has an ordinary family with their own problems. Yeonjun is tired of his parents constantly fighting, so he steals the car keys and runs away from his house to meet his friends who are waiting for him. Periodically in the clip there are frames with fish, which is of great importance. The ones that are real in the aquarium represent the boys in this world, desperate to leave it and explore the outside world. It also symbolizes the envy that Yeonjun feels when he sees a fish together with other fish. While he's completely alone, and his friends are really just his hallucinations. Fish in the sky and floating in the air are one of the manifestations of his rich imagination, embellishing the sad reality. The lyrics and story is really sad, he wants to be loved and supported and escape from his family problems, but there is no escape. The only escape is his imagination
That’s the beauty of rock music. It’s a great emotional outlet because of how well it expresses our complicated feelings. People don’t like feeling alone, so listening to others who experienced the same pain is very comforting.
The way you worded this is just amazing, thank you! I was absolutely entrapped by this MV, I think of this as a realistic summer song...we can't always go outside and it isn't always having fun...it isn't our glorified version of summer (i spend a lot of my time having to study, do summer courses at home, and can't meet my friends for that reason and/or don't necessarily have friends). I think this is realistic; we may be very lonely and summer may be gloomy after we take out the filter. We long for freedom and happiness. That's why I love this MV (hopefully that makes sense). :)
I feel like the warm but heavy feeling is nostalgia, at least for me bc pop rock basically saved me during my teenage years and after listening to this song I straight up went to listen to missing you by all time low and cry sjsj
Actually it is both Yeonjun and Beomgyu’s voice with Seori on the main chorus it’s just very faint. Although, in the live performances it’s 100% much more noticeable :)
I love the fact you mention Hybe and BigHit taking risks with their artists and give them ways to express themselves and experiment, even to the point of writing about stuff that are usually taboo. Namjoon actually participated writing lyrics for the song after Bang PD hit a wall and asked him for help and he pushed for the title and also for it to be the title track of the album; but also every member participated writing lyrics for songs in the album and Hueningkai composed and produced a song! As always all bsides are really unique and I think they explore a lot of sounds, styles and messages
I feel like seori added something to the song. Her soft voice contrasted the boys and really added an extra layer vs in a lot of BTS songs the features don't really add on much or bring much to the song. I am happy that BTS is able to collab but it's usually underwhelming. With seori, even though she doesn't have a verse to herself, her voice adds that icing to cake that just makes the song feels so much better and complete. I'm glad they decided to add her.
I agree I think other than BWL, I am not much fan of BTS group collabs with female artists, may be thats why their only collab title is bwl, which was meshed well and physical presence of Halsey made it better. I still think BTS songs doesn't need collab cuz a.Seven people is enough for one song b. BTS has wide range of vocalists from a baritone tone high pitch, I dont think they need it.
@@user-bear27 ofcourse Steve aoki's collab was bop... I was talking the female collabs, for me BWL was the best. I didn't like Nicki Minaj collab sorry, for me it was just a added piece, it didn't sound like a one song... I completely hate ON ft. Sia
@@persona8208it's alright! It's just our preference 😄. For me, the Nicki Minaj collab was total fire! I still remember how hyped I was when I listened to it when it came out. Yes, it wouldn't have made a difference if she was there or wasn't there because the original was good on its own, but her rap verse will forever remain iconic in our fandom because she ✨DELIVERED✨.
I feel the same way about their collabs with female artists. The one that stands out to me as truly being cohesive or well-matched is Chicken Noodle Soup with Becky G, I feel like her singing with J-hope’s rapping made a lot of sense together
In my 10 years into kpop culture, Ive never heard a song and taehyun's raspy vocals like that. I just felt so emotional and really thought that BigHit Music is definitely "Music for Healing". Their vocals is so emotionally overwhelming and powerful. And that part with Yeonjun singing and dancing just represented youth in a matter of seconds. 😭 TXT and BigHit is just so musically powerful
seeing as you've been into kpop for 10 years you might already know this but if you're looking for emotional raspy vocals you should listen to junhoe's voice in apology by ikon!
The fact I'm not even a MOA and I agree so strongly cuz *THIS SONG* made me wanna be interested with TXT~~ ++ finally a song that isnt full of heavy autotunes or vocal blending so I can hear each of their unique voices
But I wish Beomgyu just sang his part alone, he already had so few lines. And I could just hear that womans voice in the chorus. And honestly that woman did not really make an impact in the song and she is unknown too. So the collab was kind of unnecessary. It would have been way better if Yeonjun and Beomgyu sang alone.
@@vixxexo6855 not you saying Seori is unknown just bc you don't know her🙄, and Soobin sings a part too. Her voice melts well with their deep voices so stop with this please, you just want drama
@@vixxexo6855 seori is known? shes a rising artist hence why they did the collab in the first place. Have your opinion or whatever but calling her "that women" is just rude.
With this comeback, I just need to stan TXT, they are just so consistent with putting out quality music and are not new anymore. Imo they are just such a unique group that is just perfect for the generation they are in, the way they portray youth in their music and MVs is just like watching coming out of age short movie. They are such a great group like I don't wanna compare but I feel like they just have something others don't that keeps me invested and interested in them. This song and the whole album is just amazing once again, and especially for me as a fan of rock music I think this is just simply myfavorite comeback from TXT.
And Taheyun because of his raspy voice. And beomgyu because of his long hair. And Yeonjun because of the storyline in the MV. And Soobin because.. did you saw how good he looks with this type of clothes? And the live performances.. did you saw their white clothes with the little red? And their voices were so stable. And the dancing.. And this Comeback made me stan them harder.
@@YoonglesHolly We are talking under this comment about Huening Kai. Can we appreciate him once please and not other members? Because everywhere I go everyone write about Taehyun so can you don't write about others under this comment?

As a veteran kpop enjoyer (11 years) I'm only waiting for TxT comebacks out of all the other latest boygroups. Let's never waste them, they are the Shinee of this gen and this song could be their "I need you" song, a breakout for them.
@@YovanPC I need you for BTS was their breakthrough they didn’t get a single win before I need You I need you topped many charts and started paving BTs way to be a popular group in korea
So agree... kpop fan for 11 years too! They are the only 4th generation group I stan. I was honestly getting sad because I love kpop but new fouls were too young and all sounding the same.. TXT are just so amazingly talented, unique, handsome, and their personalities all shine too. So glad I became a MOA from the first album ❤
when i recommended this song to a friend that doesn't stan txt, i said "this reminds me of run away not because of the music, but because of the emotion" and she immediately went to listen to it because we both fell in love with run away almost two years ago. run away had a whimsical vibe, while love song feels like a more jaded version of the same pure emotion. the emotion txt capture from time to time is the same emotion bts had circa 2015 and i love that so much!
I can not agree with you enough that this TXT song is “the” song that grabs you and makes you do a double take. I also love rock songs too and the first lyric is a punch to solo plexus, my initial reaction also. Everything you said about this music video is my thoughts exactly. The silence after watching it to “soaking in the moment” to Soari enhancing the song to liking standard Koop songs but wanting Koop groups to try other genres like rock. My exact sentiments.
the fact that this song its so much deeper than it looks, so basically yeonjun just imagined that the other guys where with him, if you look at his wrist he has an hospital bracelet, most of the time green bracelets and ribbons are associated with mental health. The whole video yeonjun was alone, even when they were in the car you cant see the other guys in the review mirror and when yeonjun and the other guys were dancing in front of the car, you ca only hear yeonjun steps. PD: sorry for my english.
i honestly think its one of the best kpop songs to ever come out. its too early to call it that in the sense that it needs time to become one of the legendary songs to come out of kpop but I've no doubt eventually it will be considered one.
I can’t say enough how much I love this song. Rock music is my first love, and I was shook when I watched the video. Really made me dig into TXT and listen to their music for the first time. The TXT songs that I’ve listened to so far don’t have that “kpop formula” sound. I particularly hate when rap is gratuitously added because they have to stick in the rapper somewhere. TXT has a rapper who can sing REALLY well - that means they can conquer any genre of music without having to slap in a useless rap section
To me, this song is TXT's "I Need U." It's raw, it's emotional, it's desperate, it has such a nostalgic, punk-teen-garageband feel to it. In an era of kpop where EDM is the highest trend, this stands out so spectacularly. I adore it. It's the song that made me MOA
Personally, I prefer IKILY more than BUTTER too, but at the same time, SOTY isn't "my favourite song of the year", it's more of a " *the most successful song of the year* "
I'm both an army and a moa (more on the army side coz bts is my first love) and I would be happy whichever wins when the two songs compete. I also like 0X1=LOVESONG more, to the point of it being my favorite song of all time (yes, it's THAT good) along with Mikrokosmos, but I feel like it's not really fair to compare the two songs since Butter is just a summer song that doesn't have as much effort put in by the members than 0X1=LOVESONG.
I honestly noticed them but I’m autistic and notice the slightest change in my environment lmfao but also, they happened to be my favorite colors so I was entranced by em more than the boys somehow
i know this is an old comment, but in the video itself, they talk about the reason why title tracks are usually pretty generic is because its a safe investment. txt is in the position that they *can* be experimental with their title tracks because their company is financially sound, but theres still a lot of really good experimental stuff in the bsides of a lot of other groups too. im not disagreeing with you, just saying that if you want less generic songs, youll be surprised what gems you can find among album b-sides :)
@@randomcloverr sorry to sound aggressive but you saying that they CAN be experimental is because they are "financially sound" is so offensive to TXT, Big Hit Music and MOAs 😒 A lot of groups that are more popular than TXT or as popular as them came from big companies while some of them are from small companies but they have big fanbases as well (you know which groups I'm pertaining to) They HAVE the money to spend as well, but it is THEIR CHOICE to deliver generic shit just to look COOL and be in the SAFE zone just like what you said. We're talking about title tracks here and overall concept...and "they" are lacking in the CREATIVE side in terms of musicality, production, exploring genres and most of all, storyline. Big Hit Music is FAR SUPERIOR in that area and BTS and TXT are enough proof of that... just them being actively engaged in their own album production is exceptional. Mind you, BTS showcased so many f*ckin genres as their title tracks before they're "financially sound". You get my point. And B-sides of most kpop groups are ALWAYS far superior in terms of freshness and being generic. There's no arguing that. Thanks for reminding anyways... 😏
@@nekomimi0023 woah chill. i was just saying maybe look at the b-sides of other groups if you want less generic music. i do find it hilarious that calling the whole of kpop generic isn't offensive, but mentioning the financial success of txt apparently is lmao
The best part is that this is a full album, and the whole album is experimental. There's really no constant sound, the only constant is really this "sounds cool but the lyrics make it very grunge and leaves you thinking". Absolute love this comeback. Gotta say that I prefer the sound of their live performances cause the vocals sound even more raw, which fits the song, and I feel lile Seori's voice mixes even better with their live vocals
This was txt's best cb yet. The tt is perfection but the album is also AMAZING. You should do a listen-along with the album. I think you would really like Dear Sputnik, which was produced by one of the members- Huening Kai!!
Yaaaaaaaaas. I am ARMY and this song made my head whip. I don’t know TXT well despite them being in HYBE but this song caught my attention. Seriously, before BTS (and most of KPOP), alternative rock/punk and metal were my everyday music experience. This song just had me gasping with how amazing it is (and nostalgic).
They experimented so much in this album, from rock vibes to more K-pop-ish tracks to even full autotuned song ( wiihbtp is so underrated it's crazy ) honestly I think people calling them "fresh air" in this K-pop industry is not up to debate, just straight facts
1- taehyun actually does that live, they did a performance on a radio i believe; ruclips.net/video/JWrXaATm0MM/видео.html 2- also, i think you should see the concept photos, they're insane 3- the cast from taehyun is inspired by IT movie ! 4- yes, when seori sings, the boys armonize with her 5- Namjoon took a big part on writing this song!
Im an ahgase but when I tell you my jaw fell to the floor the first time I heard this, I dont have the strenght to fully stan another group, but this album is just great, Lovesong is exactly what kpop needed... TxT is doing something different and Im loving it
i admire how they're utilizing their company privelege (which as you said is NOT a bad thing nor discredits any of their hard work) to evolve the music industry's typical prominence. i do hope you consider a full album review, i think this is one of those albums where you get obsessed with at LEAST 1 of the song included. anti-romantic was that song for me, and i'd kill to have your insight on it.
This reminded me of 2000s rock music that I grew up with when I was a kid. Also, yes, I think this song will change TXT future and maybe kpop future in general. I only stan Shinee for boygroups but this song make me a fan of TXT. Looking forward what is to come in the future

I was thinking I shouldn’t preorder cause what if I don’t like it... but it turned out to be my favorite album too so AND HUENINGKAI AND SOMEONE ELSE PRODUCED DEAR SPUTNIK I forgot the other persons name sorry
Taehyun kinda said the same thing as you 😭 he said he liked the song before they added seori but once they heard it with her feature he said it became perfect. Truly the “cherry on top”
This song alone made me come back to Kpop. I legit took 2 years of a break cause i wasn't really finding songs that really made me feel something. This song will remain a masterpiece and istg in my 22 years of life i think i only know a handful of songs that can compare to this masterpiece.
It was taehyun and he does the "raspy" voice himself, you can check out their radio live and he did it perfectly. and yes when seori part comes in is accompany by beomgyu in the first verse and yeonjun in the second. I believe txt has one of the most unique discographies and is a blessing they get to gift us with amazing music without much though on GP acceptance.
@@Shayed07121997 not a lie, just difference of opinion... if you don't feel that way, good for you but don't call people liars just because you don't agree lol
@@rinnie804 i respect it. But txt has so many different kinds of songs and concepts that it is almost impossible to like each and every song. I think that OP just exaggerated but if he or she really likes every single song then good for them!
the LOSER-LOVER cast is actually a direct reference to the Losers Club from the movie IT (which I haven't seen cause I would like to be able to sleep at night), there are similarities between the group of friends in that story and this MV! About the Seori featuring, I honestly think that her voice in the chorus adds something more to the song, her tone and the way she sings it's giving me something that a lower voice or tone would not be able to give! Even more so because she sings a specific line ("say you love me say you love me" etc.) which almost sounds more like an emotional pleading, a complete different feeling compared to the angry, desperate shouted line in the first part ("I know I love you"), and having these two emotions back to back really gives to the listener a good understanding of the feelings they're delivering! So yeah, I think it really adds something to the whole song, while that feat. with Sia was over a song that was already perfect and complete without any other voice! (and personally, it ruined it for me, I love Sia and I love BTS but that collab was an absolute failure on my account)
I’ve been a Kpop fan since 2007 and TXT is the only group from 4th gen that I look forward to for comebacks. I like being curious about what kind of concept they’ll be doing and I don’t have any expectations because they set new standards every time.
During the “say you love me” part in the actual track it’s mixed and you can slightly hear beomgyu and yeonjun but mostly seori. In the live stages it’s more of beomgyu and yeonjun singing and you can hear them really well! I love how well their voices mix with seori’s
when I first heard the song, I was immediately like "PD is gonna freak out." I'm the same and love rock, so seeing it more and more in kpop is extremely exciting
This song was so emotional. Like that moment where Yeonjun sort of laughs when the car catches on fire gave me goosebumps because it was such a catharsis. It was like a everything sucks and it's going to suck but sometimes you just have to give in to it and steal little bits of relief or humor or irony where you can. Their acting was SO strong. They did subtlety and vulnerability but with a ton of power. This vibe and aesthetic really suits them. This song is my favorite of their's. I really like anti-romantic off the album too.
yes, I literally sobbed when you said "when you're listening to it for the first time, opted you don't realize at the moment that you've just listened to what's going to become an iconic moment or game changer moment" YES, TXT JUST GAVE US ANOTHER PROOF THAT THEY'RE THE FUTURE OF KPOP!!
Actually the loser/lover cast thing is a reference to the "It" remake, but it works really well with this aesthetic and with the lyrics (I'm a loser/lover in this game). I completely agree, 10/10 comeback. Jesus I love this song. Seoris vocals mixed with Beomgyu and Yeonjun is so beautiful, the way the vocal performances are all different but so cohesive. Brilliant production, direction, and execution.
I do believe that in the parts where you hear Seori’s voice in the forefront, Beomgyu and Yeonjun take the lower part of the harmony. Taehyun actually uses that shredding voice in the live performances even more. So I do believe that is his voice on the track. TxT is really pushing the envelope when it comes to title tracks and songs in general to the Kpop genre. I am looking forward to even more of their “experimental” sounds.
10:30 i love pd for saying that, big groups and companys can have that succesful carrer and can release "generic" songs because is not bad, but txt releasing this type of song between this saturated noise in the industry is such a breath of fresh air. I also would love to add that this can applies to bts in the fact that yeah butter and dynamite were such "generic" and easy going songs but that doesn't erase how experimental they have been since their debut when it comes to title tracks.
Butter mix a lot of genres actually I don't get why people look bad at that song, it has a lot of elements that are bts style for example when they said a phrase after a part , the hype raps and the adlibs of the rappers in the back( like attack of Bangtan , boyz with fun , telepathy, ma city , pied piper, etc) The only difference that's in English. It's like bts saw that finnese is their vibe ( which it is ) so they wanted to do a song like that.
I always called that kind of rock you're talking about "anthem rock". And, yes, I saw them do this live on KBS Kool FM radio show and Taehyun can actually do that growling raw voice. I died, in a good way. I love this song.
I wasn't a TXT stan before. I mean I knew them before when they debuted. But this song is something different and now I'm digging deeper about this group. Good job. I do really wish they would be huge one day ❤️
I would imagine that the boys went through voice training to sing in this "tearing vocal chords" way. there are ways that singers learn to do this so that they wont actually hurt their voice. if they sing this during a concert they cant risk not knowing the safest way to do it.
me too. i was a casual listener too, since their debut, but this song was a masterpiece, it got me hooked, it's definitely gonna be a major point in txt's career.
after hearing you wonder about whether they're doing the raspy voice live, i looked up some live stages + mr removed videos. it seems like taehyun can use that technique live, because i could definitely hear it in the stages. it's super impressive tbh-
Taehyun did that “I know I love you” part in a causal vlive where they were talking and it had no backing and no nothing, it’s 100% real cause he nailed it perfectly
yesss pd finally checked out txt's comeback !!! the song and whole album are freaking amazing and top tier as always. also, it's not just seori singing in the post-chorus - you can hear the members' vocals as well! and YES taehyun is actually doing the raspy voice bit and it's amazing, you can hear it in live stages and he even sang that line on vlive before. btw the tt is pronounced 'zero by one lovesong' ^^ thanks for your reaction, it definitely made me feel very proud as a moa and my ego went 📈
Rewatching this and wow. Every time I watch the MV, I feel like I might cry even though I listen to the song itself a lot. There's something about the combination of the visuals/aesthetic, their performance, the bittersweet smiles and lonely shots, the way the music cuts out and Yeonjun quietly sings the chorus before everything kicks back in and you're punched in the gut with desperation and longing.......it's incredible. It deserved to win the award that it did.
RM is actually credited in this song Soobin: Bang PD-nim was working on the lyrics but he didn't like any of the lyrics that came out after worrying about it for 3 weeks. He asked RM sunbaenim to once listen to the song & if it's okay, if he could help so RM gladly participated. There were two versions of names for the song and RM suggested they use 0×1=Love Song as it goes well and it sounds better so that was decided as the title.
I already had high expectations but they managed to blow them through the roof! Taehyun and Hueningkai really did the absolute most this era but everyone sounds incredible and I'm loving the live performances. ♡
Until now I've only been a quiet admirer of them, listening to their songs each comeback, enjoying them as many other songs. But this time I was so taken aback and could not stop listening to it. In the end it was Taehyun's rasp that just got me and was the last thing I needed to really get into them. Anyways, I bought all their albums now and watched half of their reality/variety content xD
i’m not a stan of txt but this song is incredible. it’s my fav song atm and i always get goosebumps while listening to it. THIS SONG IS A MASTERPIECE!!
I cry everytime I listen to this song. It's sounds so joyful, but it leaves me feeling sad. Maybe because of the lyrics and how it relates to my own life, but wow, this album has really made me want to check more of TXT

Seori’s voice feels a lot more emotional/genuine compared to *ON* . Plus, her voice adds a female character in the actual audio who’s on the outside looking in and feels for the male protagonist. P.S. : some twt MOAs translated her name from KR ➡️ ENG . When translated, her name becomes “Frost” or “Jack Frost”, which is weird as it perfectly fits their concept this time around ❄️
@@choiodismomeveryone7909 he's probably comparing the influence of Seori on this song versus Sia's on BTS's ON. Or maybe he just mistook Sia for Seori lol
"We're gonna look back at this" and WE DO. I just went to txt's recent concert and everyone singing the words lyric by lyric its really a txt song that became a staple in their discography. Plus I've seen so many other kpop groups do lovesongesque songs since then.
I'm so glad you mentioned how Hybe is taking risks! I so agree. It really frustrates me when huge groups from huge companies release such cookie cutter music or do the same style over and over. Like these artists will make millions no matter what so why not try something interesting? Especially when so many of these groups have talented and diverse members that could pull off different styles. It reminds me of The Beatles talking about when they were at their peak they couldn't even hear what they were playing at their concerts because the screams were so loud. They realised it wouldn't matter what they were playing so there was basically no risk in experimenting. "You want a timeless song, I want to change the game" - Queen Dua Lipa
the reason I love txt so much is because of how refreshing they are, everything they do seems authentic and like they are generally having fun. they just seem like young guys living their best life, not trying to seem mature or overly sexual and I feel like I can really just enjoy the music and the concepts and just have a great time. no other group has the same ability to make me feel such genuine joy and freedom
It's true, this is an iconic moment for KPOP. Namjoon is the mastermind to pick this as a title track, I guess homeboy just has the ear for great but different music.
I honestly seriously love this comeback. It's so different from their usual songs or any other kpop song. It gives off that rebel teenage running around enjoying life with a love song vibes.

Like a piercing cry from the soul about what has accumulated. Feeling like something bad has happened. You feel despair, but life still goes on. 🥺
And if initially I didn't really like the MV, because it is quite simple, muted according to the color palette and at first glance uncomplicated, now I think that it ideally suits the song, complementing its atmosphere of adventure and freedom, as well as its message, and reinforcing conflicting emotions.
About the meaning:
Yeonjun in this MV is shown as a depressed and lonely teenager who has an ordinary family with their own problems.
People don’t like feeling alone, so listening to others who experienced the same pain is very comforting.
oh wow now im sad i didn't watched by this pov, this sounds a lot more gloomier...
It kinda makes me feel like Weeeklys after school.
I feel like the warm but heavy feeling is nostalgia, at least for me bc pop rock basically saved me during my teenage years and after listening to this song I straight up went to listen to missing you by all time low and cry sjsj
this song is giving me “me and my friends are the only one left on the earth and humans are nowhere to be found” vibes

@@persona8208 even their collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Steve Aoki were bops for me.

Yup
But I wish Beomgyu just sang his part alone, he already had so few lines. And I could just hear that womans voice in the chorus. when i recommended this song to a friend that doesn't stan txt, i said "this reminds me of run away not because of the music, but because of the emotion" and she immediately went to listen to it because we both fell in love with run away almost two years ago. run away had a whimsical vibe, while love song feels like a more jaded version of the same pure emotion. the emotion txt capture from time to time is the same emotion bts had circa 2015 and i love that so much!

the fact that this song its so much deeper than it looks, so basically yeonjun just imagined that the other guys where with him, if you look at his wrist he has an hospital bracelet, most of the time green bracelets and ribbons are associated with mental health.

@@aesthetic8839 oh yeahhh, I guess so... maybe something for poppin star??
i know this is an old comment, but in the video itself, they talk about the reason why title tracks are usually pretty generic is because its a safe investment. txt is in the position that they *can* be experimental with their title tracks because their company is financially sound, but theres still a lot of really good experimental stuff in the bsides of a lot of other groups too. im not disagreeing with you, just saying that if you want less generic songs, youll be surprised what gems you can find among album b-sides :)

the LOSER-LOVER cast is actually a direct reference to the Losers Club from the movie IT (which I haven't seen cause I would like to be able to sleep at night), there are similarities between the group of friends in that story and this MV!
I've always mildly liked TxT, but this is the first song of their's that made me go, "YES!" with a fist in the air

And now Loser=Lover is their title track for next comeback. 😭
@@mev9752 yes many people think that butter is bad and generic blablabla, but for me is really good and was really well produced
Good job. I do really wish they would be huge one day ❤️
Honestly this album is a game changer for the future of Kpop
I would imagine that the boys went through voice training to sing in this "tearing vocal chords" way. there are ways that singers learn to do this so that they wont actually hurt their voice. if they sing this during a concert they cant risk not knowing the safest way to do it.
Beomgyu hits different this comeback !!
looking like an absolute prince honestly
Taehyun actually sings that way in their live performances. It’s was Seori with Beomgyu in the chorus together.
in my opinion, this is one of the best, if not, THE best kpop song ever released.
i was a casual listener of txts music but this song made me stan. my freeze albums are on the way 😌😌
me too. i was a casual listener too, since their debut, but this song was a masterpiece, it got me hooked, it's definitely gonna be a major point in txt's career.
after hearing you wonder about whether they're doing the raspy voice live, i looked up some live stages + mr removed videos. it seems like taehyun can use that technique live, because i could definitely hear it in the stages. it's super impressive tbh-
Taehyun did that “I know I love you” part in a causal vlive where they were talking and it had no backing and no nothing, it’s 100% real cause he nailed it perfectly
Namjoon participated in writing and was the one who insisted in using the sing as title
yesss pd finally checked out txt's comeback !!! the song and whole album are freaking amazing and top tier as always. also, it's not just seori singing in the post-chorus - you can hear the members' vocals as well! and YES taehyun is actually doing the raspy voice bit and it's amazing, you can hear it in live stages and he even sang that line on vlive before. btw the tt is pronounced 'zero by one lovesong' ^^
thanks for your reaction, it definitely made me feel very proud as a moa and my ego went 📈
Hello, just a genuine question: does pd still listen to albums? Cuz i don't see him posting any more of those.
@@moonschild5341 i think they do on patreon, just not on youtube anymore. also, pd uses they/them pronouns
@@lin304 ohhh thank you very much. And sorry for using the wrong pronoun! Thank you for informing me, i'll definitely take note of that.
I just wanna said that, like suddenly feeling proud
PD: oh, it’s a typical TXT song with the members staring creepily at each other! 😂
RM is actually credited in this song
Soobin: Bang PD-nim was working on the lyrics but he didn't like any of the lyrics that came out after worrying about it for 3 weeks. He asked RM sunbaenim to once listen to the song & if it's okay, if he could help so RM gladly participated. There were two versions of names for the song and RM suggested they use 0×1=Love Song as it goes well and it sounds better so that was decided as the title.
RM also had a huge hand in choosing this as their title song. TXT members mentioned it but I can't remember where.
Where?
Yes 🥰
Maybe because of the lyrics and how it relates to my own life, but wow, this album has really made me want to check more of TXT
the album is so good. Every song sounds so different and good. This title track might be contending with runaway as my fave txt song. This is so goooood
Compared to On????
@@choiodismomeveryone7909 he's probably comparing the influence of Seori on this song versus Sia's on BTS's ON. Or maybe he just mistook Sia for Seori lol
@@AlvinIsChipmunk yeah!true! But why comparing it to On when they both are different genre of song!!
@@choiodismomeveryone7909 he is just voicing his opinion though. no big deal.
@@choiodismomeveryone7909 they brought up On cause pd brought it up. So they're just adding on their opinion. No big deal
Yes Taehyun really does that with his voice for the live performances as well he is amazing.
True
The concept trailer really hyped me for this album.....and I wasn’t disappointed!
the guys are singing with seori in the “say you love me” part, it's just mixed really well
I haven't followed TXT at all, but this is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I'm definitely paying attention to them now.
the reason I love txt so much is because of how refreshing they are, everything they do seems authentic and like they are generally having fun. they just seem like young guys living their best life, not trying to seem mature or overly sexual and I feel like I can really just enjoy the music and the concepts and just have a great time. no other group has the same ability to make me feel such genuine joy and freedom
not hating on other groups at all I love so many others, txt just seems to stand out for me :)
It's true, this is an iconic moment for KPOP. Namjoon is the mastermind to pick this as a title track, I guess homeboy just has the ear for great but different music.
pd’s silence after watching the mv for the first time is honestly such a mood.
I honestly seriously love this comeback. It's so different from their usual songs or any other kpop song. It gives off that rebel teenage running around enjoying life with a love song vibes.
