Someone in twitter pointed out that Yeonjun is wearing a hospital bracelet when he's driving the car, so his friends might be a hallucination 😭

The whole MV is not about the typical love story of a guy and a girl but instead it revolves around family, friends and self. " In this world with full of zero, you are my one and only " which interpreting about parents caring, loving and understanding for their child. As we can see in the MV, YJ's parents were arguing, it's always like that, that's why it triggered Yeonjun's brain which cause him to have a mental illness (causing him hallucinations) we could also see Yeonjun driving, and on his wrist is a green ribbon, which symbolizes and logo of mental health awareness ( YJ is portraying someone who has an mental illness with all those hallucinations that he went through and raising an awareness by having his own ribbon on his wrist)
He wants to escape the bitter and painful reality of living in a toxic environment that's why he created a fantasy where he's with his friend and happily hanging out with them. But the truth is, it's just all part of Yeonjun's imagination and hallucinations. We can see him staring at the beta fishes floating, those were the members inside of it because they are just figments of his imaginations.

It has sm meaning, it's speaks so much, we've been suffering and mentally unstable to the point that sometimes we just wanted to end our lives but despite from all of that we're still hopeful that someone can save and understand us.
Also we can take it that the members feel trapped and want to scape, and all this might explain why their are seeing fishes, it's like a sort of representation where they express that they are the fishes and want to scape from their fishtank.

This is the most in depth explanation I've ever seen of a kpop mv so far, and it's really cool too! this makes a lot of sense if you look at the other comments (or just hop to 8:50) and realize Yeonjun is the only one whose footsteps you can hear cuz everyone else is fake
about the loser/lover on his cast, i think that's a reference to the movie "IT" since in that movie one of the characters had loser written on his cast with the v on top of the s in red
edit: also, in it, all of the lead characters had insanely horrible lives until they met eachother and defeated the clown together. I feel like in the mv and lyrics of the song it kinda shows the same story about how their life was crumbling apart until a certain girl appeared. like the mv gives me major it vibes

Since no one else has commented about this Imma just spill my theory in the comments. So basically the whole MV is another chapter in the TXT universe about the friendship between the members and in their previous MV, Can't You See Me, we can see Yeonjun set fire to that friendship both physically and psychologically as we see members start to turn their backs on one another. So in LOVESONG, the basic theory going around is that Yeojun is now imagining his friends and uses them as a way to escape the cruel reality where his parents argue nonstop and the world is tinted gray. Although the MV is grayish overall, when the members are at the pool we can see more vivid color which may represent one of two things: memories of them being together and not just Yeonjun's imagination or Yeonjun slowly forgetting that this is just his imagination and truly believing that his friends are there. The car is used to symbolize freedom and how Yeonjun tries to run away from his problems and back to the past where his friends are, where he isn't alone. (basically, Yeonjun lost his friends in CYSM and now realizes how empty his heart is because of that, hence the lyrics, gray tint, and the name of the song since his love for his friends is futile since no one can go back to the past)

It also symbolises the envy yeonjun feels as he sees the fish with other fishes together. While he is all alone and the other boys are just his hallucinations. He is shown as a depressed lonely teen on anti depressants medicine . Yeonjun is fed up with his parents fighting and he steals the car keys, and runs away from his house all alone. But he thinks he is with his 4 friends. In reality, he is all alone.

Actually this song is about a boy who never felt love (Yeonjun) and the people fighting behind him were his parents ( that means he have never spent time with them) and now because of the loneliness he has started making imaginary friends (Soobin, Beomgyu, Huening Kai and Taehyun) That is why the lyrics is *I KNOW IT'S REAL I CAN FEEL IT* and according to me he was hallucinating when he saw the fish flying in the sky.... (I really don't know if the explaination is right or not BUT I love your videos💙💙)

Everything about the music video feels like it’s about a platonic family like love, rather than romantic. Because it seems like that is the love that was shown to be missing originally at the start of the video.

Tell me about it. Only Dreamcatcher and the other kbands consistently fill that void. Other than them, Fantasy by Pink Fantasy, Undercover by A.C.E., Dionysus by BTS, and Call Call Call by Seventeen are the only other rock inspired kpop songs I know. I know Drunk-Dazed by ENHYPEN was intended to be a pop rock song, but the raw vocals and real instruments/electric guitar rock music is known for are kind of missing from it.
