Still love this because it’s two of my favorite artists from their respective genres. All jamming and having a good time at a gig like they should, because it’s what they’re great at, and it’s where they’re at home. And despite the Stones not being 20 anymore (idk why people feel the need to mention Mick’s age, EVER!), and Amy, we know-thanks to both Keith and Ronnie Wood recounting the day-was not in the back leaning over a dehumidifier, cup of warm water with lemon and a drop of honey in hand, doing vocal warm-ups. But they all did their thing, and it was great! I saw Keith interviewed sometime after his book was published, And they asked him about any new artists whose talent or work he admired-in that moment, at least, Amy Winehouse was the only name he could come up with to have started her music and entertainment career after the early 80’s... . That’s a pretty high compliment to me!
I was there - IOW 2007. Standing right front of stage. During the afternoon on her solo set Amy was 'all over the place', believe it or not she came alive when she sang with the Rolling Stones.
wow, the old man sounds great. the sounded good together. too often, artists dont sound good live. especially ones who groove a lot on stage. so it was a pleasure to see mick doing his thing and sounding so good. Amy complimented him, and looked happy. she usually runs off after her set, but she actually stopped and smiled, and looked happy. great to see AND hear.
I know you wanna leave me, But I refuse to let you go, If I have to beg, plead for your sympathy, I don't mind 'cause you mean that much to me. Ain't too proud to beg and you know it, Please don't leave me girl, Don't you go, Ain't too proud to plead, baby, baby, Please don't leave me, girl, Don't you go. Now I've heard a cryin' man Is half a man with no sense of pride, But if I have to cry to keep you, I don't mind weepin' if it'll keep you by my side. Ain't too proud to beg and you know it, Please don't leave me girl, Don't you go, Ain't too proud to plead, baby, baby, Please don't leave me, girl, Don't you go. If I have to sleep on your doorstep all night and day Just to keep you from walking away, Let your friends laugh, even this I can stand, 'cause I wanna keep you any way I can. Ain't too proud to beg and you know it, Please don't leave me girl, Don't you go, Ain't too proud to plead, baby, baby, Please don't leave me, girl, Don't you go. Now I've got a love so deep in the pit of my heart, And each day it grows more and more, I'm not ashamed to call and plead to you, baby, If pleading keeps you from walking out that door. Ain't too proud to beg and you know it, Please don't leave me girl, Don't you go, Ain't too proud to plead, baby, baby, Please don't leave me, girl, Don't you go.
This is an all time classic. Amy knew being in the presence of Mick & the Stone that they were music Gods. She went to her knees. Mick knew she was so special & said , no Amy you get up & stand beside me. Watch.
Leland Whitehouse, oh fek off. She was a total car crash, forgot the damn lyrics completely and off her tits, and he was saving her and the show. He foretold her death in an interview after this shambles.
The whole time I'm sitting here wondering "hmm, boy o boy wonder what KEITH is thinking" when he looked at her at one point. Here's DA MAN (The Legend... The GOD) that has survived any drug invented to date looking at this poor girl, who though immmensely talented, looks so fragile & LOST here. Sad she died, what a great voice she packed. RIP Amy ... gone too soon. Happy 68th BD Mick. 11:40 pm July 26 2011
@mrgavan ~ Focused? nah...come on..you know Mick commands the stage. Shes "joining" him...in his world.....Amy was a strong personality, and shes his guest here .....I think shes trying to be clever and "beg", looks like she was winging it...and how do you "wing" it with Jagger? You dont....hes a master at it. ..after all he's been performing for decades..and Amy was only 2.7 decades old....Her mum asked her "How was performing with Mick"..she said "OK"...lol
Dearest Amy, it makes me so sad to see you in this video. It could have been a great moment, but no, as your mama says in the book Loving Amy, you were not totally there... Rest in peace, my angel, you deserve it.
Saaludos
Yep. Car crash. He is a total pro. (He said in an interview after this that he was concerned that she was going to kill herself if she kept up her booze/drugs lifestyle... and when Mick Jagger tells you you are doing too many drugs/booze, you need to listen. He was right.
What a fekking car crash she was. Anyone applauding this ‘performance’ or saying she is a ‘genius’ is deluded. Wasted the talent she was born with. She was amazing for a very short time, then killed herself. I don’t think she deserves to be called an icon at all. (an icon of what? How to self destruct?) At best she is a good lesson to kids of why they should not drink too much or inject fekking heroin. (Drugs are bad, m’kay?) This post mortem veneration of dead druggies and alcoholics really pisses me off (in case you couldn’t tell 🙄)
she seems a bit "out of it" yes, but who better to guide her through the performance than the all time biggest snorting band of all time !! they're supposedly sober now, so who better to trust to carry you ?!!!

I’m late, but man an amazing clip. Amy was not prepared or high. But Mick was looking out for her. Anyway, an electrifying performance.
thanks for those moments, babe..
I never tought I would say this, but I'm gonna miss those ballet slippers
Yeah, and the bloodstains. 🙄
..was really smiling & shaking my head watching her in this video..
we miss her big time.. xxx Amy
best version!! RIP AMY, my darllll
keith & ronnie look fit here oo
WOW! That virtually redefined "atrocious" and I love RS and Winehouse.
I know you wanna leave me,

its cause she was begging like the song said
Yes, it was a reference to the lyrics.
Leland Whitehouse, oh fek off. She was a total car crash, forgot the damn lyrics completely and off her tits, and he was saving her and the show.
He foretold her death in an interview after this shambles.
THE BEST GROUP BAND EVER ON THIS PLANET
THE ROLLING STONES
Who would've ever thought that Keith would have ever outlived Amy.

2:42 le piso el pie a Amy 😔😂
NO WAY! Mick and Amy?!!
Dearest Amy, it makes me so sad to see you in this video. It could have been a great moment, but no, as your mama says in the book Loving Amy, you were not totally there... Rest in peace, my angel, you deserve it.
Sounds good though
Sorry, Mick. I forgot the lyrics sheet you gave me.
scat singing
Arch Passerine - bullshit, she was off her tits and completely winging it.
Saaludos
She must forget lyrics of this song.
im agree man, she wasn t fantastic in tihs performance, she looks a little bit confuse and loose. She dance so fun in this video jj
Jezz... Did she even learn the word for this?
scat singing
cool! nice she got to jam with the Stones before she started opening for Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin
Yep, let’s all venerate druggies who self destruct. Great role models👍🙄
Shame"
Less horns for pete sake
All Amy knew how to say was "no", in this song it was "know", but same thing.
Wow...she is so out of it on this. Mick is bailing her out.
Yep. Car crash.
He is a total pro. (He said in an interview after this that he was concerned that she was going to kill herself if she kept up her booze/drugs lifestyle... and when Mick Jagger tells you you are doing too many drugs/booze, you need to listen.
He was right.
That was fantastic... but she looks so stoned! Mick had to hold her and take her arm! and you have to see his ferocity face when it does! is so sad!
What a fekking car crash she was.
Anyone applauding this ‘performance’ or saying she is a ‘genius’ is deluded.

You could be describing half of that band. A bit of a double standard favoring the survivors of such a lifestyle.
Yeah - for my generation, Janis was our Amy Winehouse.
she seems a bit "out of it" yes, but who better to guide her through the performance than the all time biggest snorting band of all time !!
they're supposedly sober now, so who better to trust to carry you ?!!!
She looks like she is chewing gum while singing
worst club ever jajaja im 26 :O
Would have been even better if she'd learned the lyrics.
Terrible job from Amy
Amy's terrible in this one and she threw the band off...
that was crap.
R.I.P. AMY
