      Why is everything so sweet...I am just curious

    • @mojhedy8653
      @mojhedy8653 5 лет назад +5

      Manoj Kumar actually the original Iranian made isn’t sweet at all. In fact because of barberry, it’s a tart food. He has done some modifications. But it was delightful to see an Indian, i assume, making Iranian inspired dish!

    • @mojganqashqai4017
      @mojganqashqai4017 4 года назад +1

      @@mojhedy8653 this dish is indian version and not original. But He using sugar is right because this dish must be sweet and sour.

      @@birdangel91 you can just do it with out rose petals.

    lebanese, egyptian, saudi , yemeni, iranian cuisine might not be as spicy but flavours are beyond words can describe it ! Lived in middle east for 5 years and was the period I tasted some of the best foods ! As for Indian food , for me " Biryani" is the bestest in the world !

      @SaraGhansar 7 лет назад +7

      Yaseen biryani trumps any mandi/machboos/zereshk pulao etc . when chillies are used in Arabic cuisine ,they become the best of both worlds

    Chef Varun Inamar- congrats, this is a Zoroastrian Recipe, an old Persian Recipe. Even Jewish People of Persian Jewry have the same recipi . Yes no chilli, no ginger and garlic, this enhances the rose petals.This is unlike the indian biryani that has so much of chilli, ginger and garlic. Chef Varun, Sir - Great Recipe keep this barberry pulao the way it is made by you here. Thanks :-)~
    Good Idea to use cranberry :-)~

    That's a deluxe version of Zereshk Polo :D
    Man it's absolutely looking delicious but we don't cook Koufteh for Zereshk Polo, And by "we" I mean "Iranians"
    But that was an interesting move. I will try it. But I would go for either Chicken (Joojeh) or Kufteh, not both of them at once.
