Meanwhile the only part I give a damn about, is coil per plug V6 stuff with these ECUs. I suspect I don't need a custom OS, just a couple calibration changes... which ones? I don't want a custom OS with the bullshit. I'm also not looking for a "well, that works, who cares why" answer for a one-of project. I want to use these things as a standalone unit for any engine I feel like messing with. I'm thinking off road use with ZERO O2 sensors, no knock sensors, no MAF. No MAF is easy. 4 cylinder is easy; don't connect half the shit, disable a bunch of codes. A 1970 CB450 isn't terrible either once the trigger wheel is sorted; connect less and disable more. For a V6, what else is there beyond "number of cylinders"? Can I just start with a 4.3 .bin and uncheck the low res option in the vehicle matrix settings? I'm looking for nerdy detail, not a fucking advertisment. The one nerdy detail video goes full autism with Ghidra, and still barely gets into that. "Hyuk, boost control."
It's possible since HPTuners has done it, but it would be a lot of work and I don't know if it's worth it. With wideband closed loop fueling I feel like it's less needed.
Im new to tunning just doing it on my personal vehicles. I have a 2004 tahoe which i activated electric fans using tunerpro and all is working good. I will be upgrading my driveshaft and wanted to change the speed limiter from 98 to 120 but dont know what settings to change. Any help would be awasome.
your doing gods work brother!!! Thank you and good to see ya again! Nitrous features would be awesome for v6.0 :) timing reduction features with built in window switch activation and bottle pressure input maybe instead of 1 of the wideband inputs but if you could have the widebands and a bottle pressure would be awesome and maybe relay output to control bottle heater based on bottle pressure, just throwing out ideas! thanks for all you do!!!!
I wanna turbo my 4.3 in my blazer completely stock but I hear head gaskets and pistons can go bad under good boost would I blow it up if I ran it completely stock other than some new good headgaskets
I can try to post some once my setup is back together. I have been testing v5 of this OS for quite some time and it works flawlessly once you get it figured out.
You can watch some of my more recent reels and hear the 2 step working off the line at the track and see me go 10.4s on street tires with this OS on a basic 5.3 @ 4750 race weight
I just wanna say this is fucking awesome to see someone actually do. If I had any real motivation I'd try to help, but I'm bad at staying focused on stuff like this... been fiddling with some 12593058 and 12579405 stuff in the fuel system segment as time permits but other projects took priority like 6 months ago lol
I’m having a heck of a time getting this running. I have an 03 Silverado SS with a 6.0 and 4l60. Currently all stock is except the intake and a small turbocharger. I have not been able to find a stock 7603 with the 6.0 and 4l60 so I’m very been trying to get something to work but everytime I try it zeros out all the parameters I need for this truck to run. Any guidance or help you can provide would be amazing. Would also be open to testing new things to help in return. I’m a Patreon sub as well. Thanks.
I haven’t used TunerPro for data logging. Supposedly it works, but I’ve seen lots of comments about it not working well or at all. PCM Logger (included with PCM Hammer) I believe is the only free open source option.
The 4l80 works, just need to segment swap your file first, then patch it, he confirmed it in another video where I asked. The 7603 os should support both dbw and dbc, assuming your ecm has the dbc circuitry
Hi 1st off its nice to see you on your Utube account and 2nd it's great to see you running your new program I also hope your going to do some engine modes. And thanks again for showing your still doing things.
So to make sure I understand this right, enabling closed loop wide and simply allows you to use a wideband to control closed loop fueling, I would still use the factory closed loop settings to control how it behaves such as disabling ltft? If I were to in addition use the desired afr table, does that only affect pe specific settings, like can I still use the iat or ect adder tables? Or does using the desired table solely allow control via map vs rpm? Will the ecm read as being in “open loop” if commanded is richer than lambda 1?
Yes, LTFT work just like stock, but can be disabled. PE is disabled entirely so no PE setting work. At richer than lambda 1 it will stay in closed loop if you are using desired afr table and wideband closed loop.
Appreciate you taking the time to respond. So if using a wideband and the desired afr, if I’m in what would normally have been a pe region, like 180kpa at 6000 rpm, will it actually attempt to use trims to maintain commanded lambda?
Sounds like this may be a definite upgrade over the hpt custom os, plus the xdf has some transient tables hpt refuses to acknowledge exist. May have to donate and try this out, I’m curious as to how well the fuel trims will keep up with the sudden boost hit of an Lsa blower.

do you think you could ever do live fuel table?
incredible work!

Fuck yeah bro. Been waiting for you videos. You have inspired me to do a build. Do you have a discord or a way to contact you
I have a Discord for my Patreon subscribers.
@turbov6 thanks bro id love to subscribe and maybe you could help me if you have time
Let's see a video of these in action. Like the actual Rev limiter working. Stuff like that

How are you guying datalogging with tuner pro? I’ve downloaded the program just to get familiar with it but I’m not seeing much to start logging.

Sorry if its been gone over already, i assume this system works with 4L80'S? Also, does this OS support DBW, or just DBC?

This works with 4L80E, 4L60E, Manual, DBC, and DBW. You just need the correct hardware and base tune.

Dude, this is badass.... I'm on a discord you may be interested in....😊
What is it?
@@turbov6 I'll DM it to you
Do the widebands replace the narrowbands or do they work together?
Also what wideband sensors are compatible? Guessing it would be a bosch 4.2
Sorry for the late reply but it replaces the narrow band sensors.
Can you post a link where you got the os?
It’s on my Patreon. Link is in the description.
Good to see you back with another video.
Hey, thanks!
Do you work on 3800 pcm's
No sorry

Hi, i have been following your videos for a while now. Have you made public yet of how you did the Hi res COP 6 cyl?
I haven’t sorry.
@@turbov6 any plans of doing a video on that?
How many others are only checking this channel for that? Unsubbed for a reason.
@@Marc_Wolfe He might have a reason for gate keeper but I wonder what that maybe 🤔. Would definitely become a Patreon if it gets unleashed!
@@gutsuijzx The reason is money and clout.
