When using floor cleaning solutions, do use gentle, low-foaming common household detergents and do not use bleach. Be sure to follow the solution’s specific direction for dilution - with a 1L clean water tank you shouldn't require any more than 1Tbsp of solution. We also recommend adding the solution after filling the clean water tank.
Please maintain your machine's wet rollers as shown in our video guide. Using a washing machine or dishwasher could cause permanent damage to the rollers.
It isn't. My mother bought a similar product, and after having used and cleaned it, I'd rather have several cotton mops and when you have 1a few dirty ones, you throw them in the washing machine to be cleaned. Fast, easy, ecological. I'm all for tecnology to simplify our life, but not for it to complicate it.
Well a $5 mop bucket is extremely inconvenient to use multiple times a week to clean just around my entryway and bird cage. I can clean multiple times a week because of how convenient an electric mop is. What is shown in the video is maintenance you do once in a while, not after every single clean like you comment implies. Also since this is like the Hizero, sweeping/vacuuming before mopping is unnecessary because of separation of solid and liquid into separate containers. You are not going to pick up a spilled cup of oatmeal with a traditional mop. You are not going to quickly just clean a spill that can happen that makes pulling out the bucket not worth it (if you do, props to you) since you still have to remove the majority of the mess. You can however pick up some spilled soup, drinks, etc., without initially picking up that mess with a rag or paper towel. If it’s not convenient for you then don’t buy it. 😂
I have nerve issues down my arm, which makes ringing and pushing a mop difficult. I have used this twice, and it is amazing. No sore hand or shoulder after mopping, and I have a large area to clean
For people who struggle to physically mop using elbow grease, this is a game changer. It’s also fantastic for very quick mopping of small areas - just like when you pick up a stick vac to quickly tidy up a room. The steps in this video is recommended by Dyson to be done every 2-3 mop sessions. I’ve done it myself it’s quite easy. Just quick rinsing. Don’t need to change dirty water, as the water is always clean, and don’t need to chuck anything in the wash and then wait to dry. For those of us who need some help with physically demanding chores and like a clean home this is a very good product. We’ll see how it goes for longevity though.
Hi there, Thanks for reaching out to know more about maintenance cycle of Wash G1 machine. We recommend emptying the clean and dirty water tanks after each clean to avoid stagnant water. We also recommend initiating the 'self-cleaning' cycle after each use. The rollers, brushes and base of the charging dock should also be cleaned and dried once a week.
@@dyson I would do the above deep cleaning at the end of a day of cleaning, I did multiple self cleaning after using it and after only 3 days of sitting on the dock the rollers started smelling pretty gross. I would make sure you dont leave it wet for longer than 12 hours then do the above deep clean and try to get everything as dry as possible. Maybe a gen2 will have some dying mechanism to dry the head once the self cleaning is done.
This plays out like a parody video on how not to design a wet/dry vac mop. I have Tineco S5 Pro which Dyson conviniently used to show the draw backs of "other mops" in their design video and it has its fair share of problems but wasn't expecting the Dyson to fix "odor" issues on other vaccum mops by doing this abomination of a design. And I love the Dyson vacs, I have been using the V11 Pro for ages.
The only advantages the Dyson seems to have are the 2nd roller for drying the floor and the brushes that clean the rollers. Most other manufacturers try to do everything with one roller. Their gear is usually very intricate but this is a level above. I wonder how it dries itself after self cleaning.
0:50 So it can't handle hair at all. Not surprising seeing how it's designed. Which basically means this can not replace a vacuum and you still need to vacuum before using this. 😏700 + 700 = 1400
Exactly when their lineup features "Anti-tangle" brushes but this uses an old design where the hair will certainly clog it up after each use..... Why couldnt they use like a silicon wiper blade or something instead of a brush?
Seeing this, dyson, go back to the drawing board, these new age dry/wet vac mops are ages in front of you. This is an awful offering into this segment.
Das ist doch ein Scherz! Das ist ja noch nerviger als beim Submarine! Der ging direkt zurück, weil das Reinigen eine Katastrophe war. Aber DAS? Ernsthaft?
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service from Dyson. I have repeatedly explains what happened - a missing docking station and charger in the original box. This is an exceptional issue for a global brand. To anyone considering purchasing any Dyson product, I URGE you to think twice.
Hi , can you add floor cleaner or disinfectant to the water tank ? thanks

@ thank you
Looks like the Dreame H12 Pro wins hands down in this maintenance and emptying department.
When will this be made available in the states?
Can I clean the rollers in washing machine?

How is this quicker and easier than a $5 mop and bucket?

Heureusement c'est une blague 😂! Trop chère pour autant d’entretien après le nettoyage 😢
Who will bother with this when there is a Philips Aqua Trio, but if I were to buy a nice model, I would still buy it.

It will take me my whole life to wash this. Dyson stopped doing great things.
