Based on these highlights, it seems like Andreeva demolished paolini....................WAIT WHAT!?!?!?!
Imfact !! And it s not the first time the french make this with italian players ....problems with us , french ?
Listening to TV coverage of Andreeva's matches it's become clear that the tennis media wants her to be the next Sharapova, and hope and pray she can be a stronger challenge to Swiatek than Sabalenka and Rybakina have been of late.
The fairy tale story for the tall blonde always more attractive to the masses than the short Blak woman - but the Blak woman powers through!!!! Go sister!
@@4N0NYM0US73 In light of the excessive tennis media praise heaped on Coco and her game, I don't think your scenario rings true.
@@4N0NYM0US73 She's black? I would not have said that before reading this comment. I just see her as a very impressive Italian player. Don't think she's quite up to Iga on clay, but we will see. Probably will do better then Coco. At least she has a weapon other then speed on her side.
Literally 1'10 of highlights. Second set points shown almost all won by Andreeva. Score 6-1 for Paolini.
Winner in the thumbnail.
Speechless, good job Roland Garros media team.
Ma guardate gli highlights di Eurosport 😂
it is hard to make it worse indeed
The highlight shows Andreeva winning 5 points and Paolini winning 5 points. Seems fair, is highlights for both players and not how one player loses
Wow sinner and jasmine...great for italian tennis !!
In my perfect world Jasmine would whip Iga, but alas, 'tis but a fantasy.
Also I'm rooting for Carlos, but I'd be happy with Jannik also. I love both of them and I love them playing each other even more. Shoulda been the final!
Godo
Doubles Italians too! I can't remember seeing something like that
Terrible highlights. You only show the points Andreeva won, so it is impossible to know which strategy Paolini used to win most points. It doesn't accurately represent the dynamics of the match and doesn't value Paolini. What a shame.
Looks like the media are trying a bit too hard to make her the next Sharapova . A few points from Jasmine were shown , but most of the highlights show Andreeva’s points indeed .
Indeed, i was writing the same….from the highlights it seems that the winner is Andreeva 🤔
Yeahp they did it in the last match w/Rybakina as well. Their media team disappoints fans every year. RG and the French antics are becoming the clowns of the GS
@@chay2033Lol, you must be Polish? What in the world is this comment? How is the Media trying to make her the next Sharapova. They have bo relationship other than being from the same country. This is a very Odd take.
Count each of the points. They actually showed 5 points win from each. At least fact check your comments before making it.
The pocket rocket was amazing today! Congrats to you Jasmine!
Paolini has a beautiful smile. I like het a lot
it's nice to see a person that is genuinely happy
Paolini deserves some credit no matter what happens in the final
She has a good chance to take it to Swiatek and even win. Even though she's short, her built is suited to this surface.
My belief is that Swiatek has to have a bad day for Paolini to win, otherwise regular playing Swiatek wins (incredible footwork with power hitting punch and aggressiveness on Swiatek vs others)
@@rayparas2974 Paolini and Swiatek have played twice, once on clay, with Swiatek winning both in straights. However, they haven't faced each other in two years, and Paolini's game is well suited to clay. Crowd will probably be rooting loudly for Paolini, I can see it going three sets, but certainly wouldn't bet against Iga.
@@tomsd8656 you are new in tenis?
@tomektomaszewski1928 No, the chance is very low that Paolini could win or even get close, but I would rather hope for a good final instead of blow out, and to have that Paolini has to play with great enthusiasm. If she loses that enthusiasm because she's looking at Iga across the net, then it could be a blow out.
Wouldn’t know Paolini won 6-3 6-1 from that reel. C’mon already
They has a similar number of winners which is what you want in the highlights not double faults and unforced errors.
Andreeva had 6 break points but did not convert and the point score was 63 to 43 a solid win but still competitive.
The key stat was Andreeva had heaps of unforced errors. She had even more than in the 3 sets she played against Sabalenka so this was an unusual change from her normally consistent game. Paolini's defence could partly explain it but also she overplayed and made too many errors.
63 to 43 is more or less a blowout in tennis. They really should have showed more Paolini points.
The highlights show Andreeva winning 5 points and Paolini winning 5 points. Seems fair, is highlights for both players and not how one player loses
Not surprised Jasmine won, but I was surprised to see her absolutely dominate Mirra.
I am kinda shocked because Mirra beat jasmine in two just a little over a month ago in Madrid
@@Super-mr4yn And on clay.
If you saw the whole match you’d know that Paolini didn’t dominate Andreeva. She practically gifted the match to Paolini with her constant barrage of unforced errors. Don’t think the Final will be competitive at all.
Dominate ?!🤣...Andreeva, more than 30 unforced errors. What a gift !
@@juismacNailed it on the head. Yes! She gifted the match to Paolini to where Paolini barely had to work as hard as she usually does.
This is a big story. A 28-year-old who, up to about a year ago, was solidly considered only a mid-level player with little potential for more than limited success on the bigger stages. But besides her obvious determination and competitive spark, Jasmine has become more precise in her defensive play, much smarter in her return strategies, has increased the pace on her forehand and rarely double faults on her very reliable serve. She's a little bit of a pusher but not at all a pushover! And, at 5'4", she is striking a serious blow for the shorter ladies. She will be a huge underdog to Iga but nothing is a given. If you can beat Rybakina, you can beat most anyone. Go, Jasmine!!!
well said
I think her speed can totally match Iga.
@@coppersilverandme Sure, but h2h favors Swiatek 2-0 (once on clay), with both matches decided in straight sets.
@@hd-xc2lz I mean let’s be honest. I stop watching iga’s game cuz it’s like a bully all day. Only time I want to watch her game is when I know there’s a third set and she struggled a bit lol. I always support underdog. Like I used to support iga too when she was underdog. lol there’s no fun to watch tennis when there’s no game to watch. So my comment is purely praying there’s a good match up to watch on the final. My support is wishing Jasmine bringing her game. That’s it. No h2h data needed.
@@coppersilverandme Your comment made it sound like they hadn't faced one another, that Paolini's speed would surprise Swiatek. We all want a three setter.
Whoever's making these highlights should be fired
I thought the Russian was going to easily win the match
Wouldn't be surprised it's GenAI that produces these bad highlights these days.
Putin edited the highlights
im watching all these points andreeva is winning but the score keeps going against her haha to funny
Agree. Highlights did not show the strength of Paolini, and chances of her final against no 1, Swiatek. Well done dynamite, Paolini.
She also reached the semifinal in doubles.
with Katya Siniakova, they should win the doubles title
@@5rodan5 But she's partnering with Sara Errani.
Katerina Siniakova teamed up with Coco Gauff.
Jasmine's message after the game that it's NEVER too late to live your life is amazing . She's a true role model in the world where we struggle to find any. What happened that young ppl dream only about becoming influencers? Those quick-insta-fake-fame celebs make sick money by sharing their vanity with the world and destroy self-esteem of others. I remember when I was starting out in acting, this world seemed superficial, driven at times by selfish impulses, but still these jobs required some hard work and talent. I was almost Leon in the new Resident Evil games :) Referencing that great South Park episode; let's raise the bar a little ;)
And sadly "influencer" is rarely little more than product pusher.
@@hd-xc2lz Exactly. Same people who, back in the day, considered anyone who was computer savvy or a gamer, or had a Myspace profile to be 'a loser'. Now they use these platforms to make sick money and share their vanity with the world and destroy self-esteem of others.
I agree every single word.
Bruh you been leavin this comment for years at some point its time to move on
Whoa!!
I wasn’t expecting that. Great job🇮🇹🥂
Very refreshing to see someone enjoying their tennis like Paolini. She's done incredibly well at the French Open and i hope that she can go on and win it
So delighted for the talented, hard-working Jasmine! She always fights for every point and never gives up. Plus, it's amazing that someone at 5'4" is beating players who have significant advantages due to their height and reach.
In the 1990s, there was the South African Amanda Coetzer, who is 5'2", who rose to No. 3 in WTA rankings, and beat big players Steffi Graf and Martina Hingis in some big tournaments.
Paolini has such a pure, radiant smile. Really happy to see her succeed.
Paolini is the ultimate wall. Despite her smaller stature, she chases down every single ball, which forces her opponents to play more aggressive that then leads to errors. Huge congrats to her!!
I can't believe how empty the stadium was.
just watched henin v williams at RG in 2003..totally packed
Something to do with the price of tickets? Or afraid for terrorists?
@@eugenelafebre921 if that were the case, male semifinals should also be empty
@eugenelafebre921 that's dumb sorry! What terrorists? And when did that ever happen?
Men's games are packed.
Fear mongering much?!
Congratulations Paolini, I knew you would rise far when you won Dubai. Mirra keep your head up, you are on the way up as well. All the best Paolini, you are so likeable.🎉
so very very true! i never Heard of Paolini until just a few months ago. amazing
I don’t like her. She’s too Italian. I like pizza though…
@@Kell4088I pray God helps you in areas where you need him and that you have a softer heart to accept people. You made me laugh 😂. Have a blessed day.
It was more like a Tennis lesson than a Tennis match. I really believe that Paolini can lift this trophy 💪👏
I was rooting hard for Paolini, i am also Andreev fan, but she is only 17, she has potentially 15+ years of more chances. Glad for this outcome.
You mean 15 years of failure?
@@ohgin12345C'mon be nice!
I ❤ Paolini, she's proof you don't need to be 6ft to win plus she's giving all us shorties hope ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
How short are you, dear?
By the way I love Paolini, too!
How is possible that highlights are ONLY Andreeva when she lose miserably!| only beauty matters?
beauty??
lol - 😂 common man which angle is Andreeva a beauty ??
@@nishantthaccker1173 LOL I died with laughter
@@nishantthaccker1173the angle below her face 😅
youve just called the other one ugly
Mira has the legs and the imagination and scope that comes with a teen's bravado of the game.. ... that early jump and imagination that is unmatched , un-viced and not touched. Beutiful and creative and was that sort of early jump was challenged by the rushy and equally sort of inspired and physically precise and balanced game that Paolini seems to have. So that sort of edge that M. Andreeva enjoyed and capitalzed in from her early jumps unto the ball , rushes and charges unto the net, mixing power with finessed were not lost but kind of equally met and then read well by paolini with anticipation or a tactically well balanced position better poised than Mirra. Which is surprising!
Well done Jasmine!! People underrated her but omg the talent!!
What is up with such low attendance?? This is a semi-final…?
My guess is the cost of tickets is probably sky high. I live in Canada and would love to attend WTA/ATP events here but they price the tickets so high it's not realistically affordable. It's a shame.
WTA attendance has been very low for a long time lol. Serena gone, Sharapova gone, and all the past pretty ones gone. Iga Świątek has been dominant for a while and she's great but not really interesting. Crowd wants interesting players with lots of drama. WTA doesn't really have many now. Hence low attendance.
@@ak-iy4yb Iga's the most interesting women's player for years.
@@MS-sb9ov You've been drinking that "kool-aid" again......
or you have a penchant for watching TOMBOYS play tennis!! LOL!!
@@MS-sb9ov LOL. What an interesting interest... no pun intended...
Wow 🖤🖤🖤🖤‼ ... Got to respect the little one on clay. Congrats Paolini‼
Va a ser un partidazo no se de dónde saliste Paolini pero derrotar con ese marcador felicitaciones a la italiana...Queeeeee lindo.... Linda final se viene
Not expecting a game like this, but I've been accompanying Paolini for a long time and she and Mayar Sherif are both great underrated tennis player who excel on clay courts.
yay for Jasmine!
❤ very nice
Two of the upcoming best. However Paolini has the edge on experience in tournaments, later stages of tournaments and winning tournaments.
Браво, Паолини!❤
Editors were def pushing for mirra lol, paolini closed the door on Andreeva, hard. Wish highlights reflected that.
The highlights show Andreeva winning 5 points and Paolini winning 5 points. Seems fair, is highlights for both players and not how one player loses
Perfect win, Perfect smile, keep going for the championship,
Wow. A modest. Level headed Pasolini. So much to be admired for.
Versatile and gets the job done.
Such a hardworking athlete with no frills. Just what the doctor ordered.
Let’s hope everything for the best.
She will up against a complete super fit opponent 💕
Yey, I like Paolini's girt she works hard for every point she wins!
La tigre is on fire! ❤
Lmfao all of these highlights being Andreeva’s and the push to get her on the map is insane.
Wheres any of the Paolini forehands/winners??
Yep, Push to get Andreeva on the map and improve ranking. Aryna's poor game (due to illness) gifted Andreeva the QF. Amazing coincidence of illness/injury in the top tier . Medvedev - Russia, Djokovic - Serbia, Sabalenka- Belarus . Check the French water😃
The highlights show Andreeva winning 5 points and Paolini winning 5 points. Seems fair, is highlights for both players and not how one player loses
Hope it would be a real contest between Iga and jasmine not a piece of cake for Iga
Paolini played so well, Andreeva might start believing that "Paolini" is Italian for "unstoppable"!
Grande Jasmine sei stata emozionante, grazie 💪🇮🇹💪
Dagli highlights sembra abbia vinto la Andreeva , francesi un po invidiosetti ? Grande Paolini enorme quello che ha fatto
No russi canale ruzzo
🧡👏🏼
What is the highlight editing for?
I want to see why they won or lose.
let's recap italian players in RG so far. women single final, men double final, men single semifinal, women double semifinal
Omg I did not notice that
men single lost in semifinal, women double moved to final
How great it'd be for Italy to have both Jasmine and Yannik win this year!
Go go go Jasmine!
Can’t wait for @tennistv to come back witnessing tennis !!!
Nice game, i also have predictions for ATP SF bettings
Paolini crushed it. Awesome.
Andreeva has the tactics and the touch. She needs more power off the serve and off her strokes but she's so young and so good already that I don't doubt it'll come in time.
Jasmine, wow - what a game and what a smile. ❤
Congratulations Jasmine. I am so happy for you. Keep up the fantastic work. Hope you win your very first Grand Slam title!
Wow again ... big congratulation to Paolini. Against Iga however, I'm afraid the coming balls will be head height all the time ...
congrats both Ladies❤❤
Paolini your happiness and your smile conquered all the hearts
as about the young Lady, well done !
you are incredible
so much to go with Conchita Martinez❤
i wish you more and more success
who knows perhaps a all round Italians win for the French open Paolini and Sinner
Yes we hope 🎉🎉🎉
Paolinis smile is infectious
Great tournament for Andreeva. Areal confidence boost. Perhaps fortunate at this stage she avoided the final. You can see she has great stature for the game and as she matures she can only improve. Congrads Paolini and Italian tennis.
Looking at the stats from the matches, it looked like Paolini did a good job of keeping the ball in play with few errors. Both Andreeva and Rybakina made A LOT of unforced errors and kind of beat themselves.
And clay always neutralizes the advantage of big hitters. Swiatek may win the Final in straight sets, but even so I'll bet the match goes close to three hours.
Sara must be so proud. Great stuff from Paolini!
So probably it is first time in history when two finalist Paolini and Świątek speak polish
Infatti lei e' Italiana di padre Italiano e madre Polacca/Ghanese
Paolini played fantastic, aggressive, and full of winners while Andreeva was absolutely shocked. Go Paolini! The first Italian to reach a grand slam final since 2012.
100% agree with you all about the highlights being too short (and poorly edited). My guess is that RG is very strict about streaming rights so they don’t want to give away too much content for free?
I like iga but Im a new fans of paolini its a big challenge for her but i hope she win im rooting for her go paolini
By now I think RG editors are just teasing its viewers, and enjoying our comments.
Paolini was so strong in her game again today. So confident in her approach and stuck with it. She's also in the double SF tmw. The moment seemed to big for 17 yr. Andreeva, but her future looks sooo bright.
Has anyone noticed the cold handshakes in women's tennis. Where's the love?
Nobody left in the stands after Iga demolished the "Puffster"!! 🖤♠
What Paolini lacks in height, she makes up in power. Such a solid plan. WOW
Where's the 3rd set?
The little gnocchi is so fun to watch. My girl is on fire 🔥 great game ! And intoxicating smile 😁
Adriejewa used all she have yesterday it seems
Paolini yesterday won an in form Ribakina and after won the double with Errani, Andreva won an injured Sebalenka and after withdrawn from the double
Lo splendore di Jasmine Paolini. Questa ragazza è capace di tutto.😍
Paolini ha hecho un partido impecable. Merece estar en la final. Enhorabuena.
Can any one share the music title at the beginning 🎶
In the second set, Andreeva did all the fist-clenching, yet the set/match went to Paolini. What a highlights!
Why are the stands empty?
Small but terrible! I knew she will win. She is more experienced. Andreeva will have her own time. Congrats to both. Higher rankings guaranteed after Roland Garros!👏👏
I noticed the highlights from Coco vs Iga. Clearly Iga won, but the action on the court was warp speed.
Good win for Paolini!
Paolini can be a challenge for Iga because her defensive skills are amazing so Iga has to hit an extra ball. Hope it'll be a competitive match!
Bravo Jasmine. A real fighter and credit to WTA.
Paolini's grandmother lives in Łódź, Poland, and she comes to her grandmother's for dumplings.
It's nice to see dwarves also have a chance of winning.
Paolini has been surprising everyone, she can go all the way to win the title just like Schiavone in 2010. Andreeva is a special talent but she is not ready for such a big occasion yet.
Odd how on the men's side, the handshake is a full body contact hug and in the women's it's ice ice baby lol
I am incredulous and moved 🟢⚪🔴
Brava Jasmine
A 6/3 6/1 semi is wild.
Wow ! She’s. Fun too watch, let’s go girl, 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
It seems Andreeva just got really nervous, and the enormity of being in the semi-final just got to her. Not to say that Paolini is an ordinary player (congrats!), but I see this as Mirra's stepping stone tp great things in the future. This just reminded me of Steffi falling to Navratilova at Wimbledon in 1987, before she went to win the next year, and became the great that she is.
Brava Paolini!!
🥳🎉
Brava JAS bravaaaaa
Seeing ppl comment abt the length of the videos or quality of the highlights is so funny to me bc whoever is making the videos clearly doesn’t care😭 I see a comment on like every highlight and they almost get worse I feel like so plz don’t expect anything from them it’s been like this for years😂
Jasmine Paolini brilliant play
3-1 Paolini: the show and Andreeva point. 4-1 Paolini: they show an Andreeva point. At some time Mirra has fallen in tears... This is something like Orwell's 1984
🇮🇹 grande Paolini ! ⚛ THE ATOMIC ANT ⚛
