Love love love the map overlay!!!
Great drone shots of the wild horses and wildlife. You've got one of the best logos out there imo...
Thanks!
Glad you got through that flooded spot. Another great video with beautiful photography.
Me too! It was a little stressful
@@RevereOverland now I'm just sitting here waiting to find out if C90 Adventures is going to cross Lake Powell with his mini Jeep.
Well, that looks like it was a Masse 😎👍
100k no problem.. great adventure, thanks for the ride along....
Great Video!! West wendover was a Great town! Kentucky to Nevada in our 2 Dr Bronco!
Beautiful videography! The drone really shows the vastness of that part of the country. Those aerial shots of the flooded desert are very cool. I wonder how often that happens?
I don’t think it’s usually this bad!
Love the epic background music on your videos, man. Cool stuff. Something about the vast land and the open road makes me feel free.
Glad you enjoyed!
That blue color looks so nice
nice effects
Quite an adventure based on history.
I'd love a review, even in a short - where you update us on how you're liking the R/T Trail's
Good idea. In the meantime: overall great tires. Not too loud, really good in the mud, pretty poor in packed snow.
Hey Revere Overland!, hooray your back! I guess part 2 of the "Quest" of getting through the state of Nevada!!😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Epik awesome video and trail
Dude that shot of the horses was epic!
Thanks!
Of course Justin wanted to turn around; afraid that his vehicle would get dirty or scratched.
He seems like the type.
He was right though
Was disappointed with how much they turned around because of mud. If only they had 6 figure offroad trucks🤷
@@krover01 I guarantee the only people going through that will be in a $800 XJ, bouncing off the rev limiter, only to get stuck and recovered by someone with a 6 figure offroad truck. That's almost exclusively the type of vehicle I come across stuck on the trail.
I respectfully disagree. Whats funny about your comment is that the majority of the vehicles I come across that are stuck are Toyotas! I think people think they're more capable than they really are, then get stuck. Ive owned a Toyota Tundra, and have been offroading and overlanding for 20+ yrs. Ive seen a lot first hand that will go against what the internet says..
Love the drone shots, I guess Autumn is the best time when water totally dries up!
I think so! Before the first snow
Having that drone would definitely be handy to pre-fly your route, definitely keeps you from getting stuck in the middle of nowhere.
It made us push a little more than we should have!
Thanks for a very educational video. Just wondering if the horses and other animals were running because of the drone? Seems like they would prefer to save their energy for evading predators?
Such a sweet setup on Tundra!! How many miles does she have now?
Thanks! 52k miles on it now
@@RevereOverland sweet!
Loved this three part series very well done. The drone shots were awesome. Curious as to how much computer you need for doing his sort of thing. Also what soft wear for editing. Again great job and beautiful country.
Thanks! I edit with Final Cut Pro on a Mac. These short videos can be done on pretty much any modern MacBook/iMac, but I have the MacBook Pro M2 Max with 64GB RAM since I do the 1-2 hour videos too.
Thanks for the reply Rob. We are also Kentuckians so maybe we will meet up on the trail some day. We try to get out some but nothing like you folks do. Thanks again.
I just recently got a new frontier to start building into an overlanding rig what tires do you recommend for daily driveability and that performs good on trails
Incredible to think of people trying to trek through here with nothing bot horses, oxen and wagons.
Right! We have it easy
What time of year did you do this trail? Would it be better to do this trail in the fall so it’s had all summer to dry out?
wooooo
❤❤
This series has really shown what the riders and horses would have HAD TO DEAL with on a daily basis without ac heat windows roof or suspension or highways to bypass the bad spots.
Yeah seriously. We have it easy.
maybe if Justin still had the Bronco... #ohsnap
I’m not sure I would have pushed as far if he did! Ford wouldn’t let him put a winch on it
Ah that's fair. Still would have been cool to see how it would have handled that mud.
Justin is a black cloud when it comes to this trail. Ha. Why does anyone volunteer to trek it with him?
Everyone has a bad day or a bad trip. My last trip we didn’t even make it out of town because one vehicle lost their master brake cylinder and another broke their steering rack.
@@RevereOverland I’m thinking he’s done three different Pony Express videos with issues each time. It’s a cursed trail for him.
@@krustyyates4418 it definitely is
I remember why I stopped watching these videos always turning around grow a pair and power through the mud and water. And if you get stuck dig a hole and bury your spare and winch off that.
You’d have to either drive a worthless beater or be an idiot to drive your vehicle into muddy floodwaters of an unknown depth. Since you apparently fit the bill, you can go for it. I am not going to risk hydrolocking my engine.
Brute force and ignorance!
This is the way
