    Good video and your description mirrors my own experience of this bike. I bought a second hand one, in March 2021. It has been faultless in a years use in my ownership. My own experience with the bike, tells me that in heavy traffic, the TRK 502 is a little heavy, but it comes into it's own on the highway. Mine is actually a 2018 model and EVERYTHING still works like it did when it was new.

    Under the fairings side panels you'll find some plugs/sockets that are connected to the 2 bar switches with a power input for aux lights etc. i used mine for heated grips (via a relay) and the other one for aux lights. They are illuminated too which is a nice touch for a budget bike !

    Those switches were for auxiliary lights if you want to install them. Only the TRX502X model has a dedicated ABS on/off button.

      @@40noobnz88 I have had a look for the ABS button on my own Benelli TRK 502 (Non X Version.) There is one, but it is well hidden and incorporated into the mirror stem on the left hand side of the handlebar. Full details can be found on page 388 of the owners manual. Mine is a 2018 UK spec version motorcycle.

      @@speedfinder1 agreed. My TRK502 none x also has a dedicated ABS button, for some reason, i think different country has different specs? I may be wrong.

      @@CaptainChristianZ1818 You could well be right there. Different specifications for local regulations are in force in different markets all over the world. I've never turned the ABS off on my bike, it seems safer with it working. I think you'd only ever turn it off when you were riding down rutted tracks or really rough dirt roads, and the Non X version has the wrong tyres fitted, for really bad roads. Anyway, Ride safe! 😉 (ABS on or off!)

    Nice review although it seems a bit pointless to compare it to 2005 Vstrom. I love the sound of the 360° crank - the only modern bike with one?

    buen video, acabo de comprar una con 15000 de recorrido y la caja de cambios es muy dura y siempre que paso de neutro a primera suena demasiado, hay manera de bajar ese sonido?

    Does the bike feels realxed and comofrtable for cruising at 130-140 km/h for long highway stretches?

    • @40noobnz88
      @40noobnz88  2 года назад +1

      Very, its every bit the bike that my V-strom is but the standing position is useless due to the shape of the tank.
      sorry for late reply its an old video now so not checking on them as often.

  • @florme6494

    Not being able to stand has to be a deal breaker for most, mainly due to the weight.

    • @40noobnz88
      @40noobnz88  2 года назад

      yeah I am waiting for the 800x to come out to see if that has a better tank for standing.
      also looking at the CF Moto 800MT but the problem with those is that they aren't LAMS and even though I'm fully licensed now I'm still looking for the perfect LAMS adventure bike, I feel like I could design one myself at this point lol.
