In this tutorial, I’m using a Brother CS6000i (amzn.to/2YfWBk5 affiliate link). The button foot comes standard with this machine.

Yessssssss....I knew this was possible! My friend called me lazy... I'm like nope, i have a sewing machine and those little snaps are a pain in the butt to sew on!
haha! I'm glad it helped :)
Thank you, it did not occur to me to use my button sewing function to do this! Thi was a well done video
I would never have thought of using the button foot for snaps.
Ingenious.....
Thank you! I'm going to add a band of fabric and fur to the hood of a plain coat, planning to use snaps as the wool and fur will last a long time (probably longer than the coat!) and this is so helpful
this was soooo helpful, thank you!! :)
This video is quite helpful. TYSM for posting it for us.. One thing I would recommend mentioning is how, when you sew on a non - computerized machine, you will want to lower your presser feet before starting the sewing of your snaps or buttons. TY again for sharing this video with us.
Great tip! I'm glad the video was helpful.
Thank you! Will definitely experiment with this.
