The “IU covering Tae’s good eye” claims another victim. That part made me lose it. Their acting was so good and really made me believe that I was watching a couple with a long history of running and the only keeping them going was each other. Ugh this was just so heartbreaking.

Absolutely beautiful! So, here's my take: It's about the perils of having relationships as an idol. The apocalyptic world is the real world, the cube is society eating up idols, consuming their lives. I think she is mute: unable to speak out against this consumption (because she does sing during the wedding scene) and he's turning a blind eye to the reality of their situation, to everyone but her. Though they desperately cling to one another they can't live in peace. They look through the lens of their video recorder and see only themselves and their love in this world. The mocking people trying to disrupt them and tear them apart are the critics, and in some cases, extreme fans. In the end, they're unable to stay in this idealized version of their life, their love persecuted and their life is once again consumed by the expectations of fans on idols.

This is so beautiful! IU's voice is amazing and the acting from both of them is superb! It made me want to see a movie. You never know what is going to happen but, love is exactly what that video shows. She covered his eyes so he would not see what was coming. I hope before my life ends I find the person that I can love and loves me like that. Superb!!!!

IU has one of the most beautiful songs but I think her OST songs are just extra special! For me, this song has the OST feeling which deserves a drama! But since it is not, a very beautiful music video like this one does it justice! IU really reinvented herself again! The fact that this is a b-side and she wrecked it!! 7:09.. That flash from the box felt analogous to cameras flashes in their personal lives when they were with their loved ones n how they had go run away from the eyes n cameras to hide n protect their love.
Like the recent paris photos tae n jennie spread by the stalkers.. They were happily walking hand in hand like innocent kids so adorably until they got attacked by the cameras. This felt like Tae's story n their helplessness. 😢

The clothes you see scattered in the forest are those of previous victims of the alien cubes. The cube following IU and V seems able to detect the smallest noises they make while enjoying their last moments together. (Think of the movie "The Quiet Place") What do the cubes symbolize? Who are the veiled people around them that don't see them? Hopefully, others have figured this out. I hope this helps.
1. IU is amazing, and an entire rabbit hole. 2. I stand by that being the Suchwita sugar cube out for revenge. 3. So many tidbits that I could see as BTS easter eggs (Spring Day pile, camcorder from Life Goes On, presence of masked figures, etc) 4. This entire video was amazingly done, and the happy moments covering for what they're actually going through is both great and horrible. 5. Kill the cube, Tae! (his facial expression is on point, lol) 6. I will cry every time I see/hear this. (the camera dying at the end of their life/story, ugh) 7. Special Guest credits: Cube - no, too far, lol 8. Love Wins All is a true masterpiece. The gorgeous IU has created an anthem of love for all time. Everything in this music video is beautiful, right down to the dust on the tables. It's pure art. The song is so sensual and sublime. The interactions between IU and V in the music video are amazing. Seriously, IU’s album The Winning is a masterpiece. Every song is such a diamond. Every music video is a visual delight. IU is a true musical genius.
I saw an article on Twitter saying that IU is deaf and Tae is blind in one eye, both have been that way from birth. The cube is getting rid of people with "defects" and the camera is then imagining a world where they can be happy because they're "normal".

the talent IU and V have is just insane. they filmed this entire video and recorded the vocals all in a week. in the video IU is deaf and V is blind in his right eye. the acting they both did in this video is just insane. this should be made into a k-drama 100%. believe it or not IU was extremely sick with the flu when she recorded this song in the studio. she refused to stop because it needed to be finished before V had to report for his military service. there is a video of her and what she went thru during the recording. how she pulled it off and how amazing her vocals sounded truly shows how amazing she is. this is one of the best MV's i have ever seen. the storyline, the concept, the metaphors and the way they portrayed it, how they built their characters in a 5 minute video is just insane.
