Is that fair play? Surly if you’re one for fair play your hatred of Celtic during the 80s/90s would be better directed at a team that cheated all of Scottish football for more than a decade and costed (cheated) the British taxpayer (money that would go to schools/nhs/military-I know you lot are big on that) almost £100 million. Its a tragedy for Australia that Ange walked away from the national team - but that is Ange. He had a vision and plan for how he wanted to instill into the Australian national team a footballing identity. But Football Australia was only interested in qualifying for World Cups - that was all that mattered. So Ange walked. Best of luck to him at Celtic - you got a great man.

@@FIshfood500 Ange wanted more than just the short sighted target of qualifying for the World Cups. He wanted to build a culture and national team with a footballing identity - the type of attacking footy you see Celtic playing at the mo. But with limited personnel it was going to take time to get there probably with mixed results along the way - Football Australia apparently didnt have the patience for it and kept clashing with Ange. So he walked - he wasn't the man for their job. But before he left, he actually qualified Australia for the 2018 World Cup - as soon as Ange sealed qualification, he left. Thats the type of man he is.

Ange is a breath of fresh air for Scottish football , but a big shout out too to Ally McCoist , he’s a proper gentleman, unbiased in his analysis of every game , he also is quite funny as well as being a great, knowledgeable commentator, he’s a real mensch .
The game was exciting to watch, Celtic showed their class by dominating in the first half but the Rangers changes had immediate effect to make it battle to the end , Lundstrum should have stayed on the bench, congrats to Celtic ☘️ and fair play to Rangers for making it an exciting game .

I was glad to see Celtic playing the ball long, during a difficult period. This is an option that is never used by Ange, but should be considered when really under pressure. It reduces the risk of conceding , and just takes some of the pressure off. The opponents aren’t expecting that either, so we might see this used now and again in Europe next season.

One or two £10 million men might mean Celtic get to the last 16 quite often in the Champions League. I'd have said £100 million, but Celtic are very efficient at picking bargain basement great players, that the £10 million men will play like £50 million men and be sold on for £30 million 😂🤣.
