I started learning doing the disco tech and finally figured out the 90 tech almost completely by accident from just regular play recently. 😂 It's quite cracked and feels so cool to hit them like that even if I do end up losing.
I want to love the unknown. I really do. But despite how much I have been playing them and doing respectablly well thanks to all the guides. I just can't. 😭 I was just too caught up in the hype that unknown could've potentially had a crawler mode. 😭 Imagine the terror of being able to crawl around and you as a survivor trying to keep tabs on them to dispel the power.
Update I love the unknown now. The cosmetics they get is top notch. 😂 Even if It's escape rate can swing wildly from match to match for me. Finding alll the holes and nooks you can bounce and shoot thru is so satisfying. But I still stand on wishing the had a crawler mode as a compliment to their main power. 😭
Once he was released he immediately became a top 5 killers I play. A month into his release he then was top 3. But now five months later, I’ve slowly lost my liking towards him due to bad shots and survivors mastering how to counter him. I hope learning this tips and tricks will bring him back to my top 3!
Dude, love the videos! You’ve inspired me to become a Jerry main now he’s all I play, I’ve started making a bunch of truck shots and it’s super fun. Thanks for all the videos they help so much!
amazing advice man, this was the exact video i was looking for after 4 full escapes in a row. i thought i was good with the power when i learned the 90 degree tech and started downing ppl through walls but i soon realized i was only scratching the surface.
I know that feeling. I think as a community we're all still at the beginning of finding out what's possible with unknown. I just know sometime in the next year something crazy is going to "pop up".
A recommendation is to use the insidious perk along with the "last known recording" add-on. Insidious will make you appear as a hallucination making players come up to you thinking it's a hallucination they need to dispel. Now, experienced players will likely know what's up since hallucinations are shown to players with an white aura, so it is not always as effective, but you can use the last known recording add-on to reduce the hallucination's aura by 25 meters which leaves room for mistakes.
Great video! It covers quite a lot of things I wasn't aware of and a few things I was experimenting on. There are 2 things though that I found to be a big thing playing the unknown. 1) Air shots at gens At the beginning I trained myself to shoot at generators when I know a survivor is working on it though eventually as survivors became more skilled this became difficult. Nowadays I tend to shoot between a generator and a loop since good survivors tend to run away when they hear the terror radius and UVX shot. The distance of how far away from the gen you shoot tends to depend on how close you are to it. 2) UVX and run I found that due to the teleport and reveal mechanics it tends to be a good idea to just UVX someone and the moment they get into a good loop immediately teleport away. It allows you to immediately bring pressure somewhere else and worse case scenario they heal, you can still just m1 and shoot them before they get to a good loop when ambushed. With these 2 strats I found hysteria and gear head to be sometimes better than the unforseen + no where to hide combo though they tend to be less reliable. Either way great video and I hope more of the unknown gets explored!
Leading orbitals is important but personally I don't do it on the first shot or two of the match, as then they're less likely to pay attention on the subsequent orbitals. As for hit and run my personal go to is if i know where multiple survivors are, I'll weaken one then go to the others so I have the hallucination ready for the next chase. but otherwise hit and run is a bit iffy since the buffer is so long you can lose almost half your weaken even if you TP.
I’ve been having fun using coup on the unknown. The cooldown can be annoying sometimes so if you get the combo of uvx -> coup attack -> uvx You get a really efficient down.
So not long from unknowns release i think we were a month or 2 in we found out from a larry main i watch on twitch that you could actually see survivors interact with the hallucinations when a survivor starts to dispel a hallucination the head will kinda slightly move its really hard to see but catching this during match can be huge cause it gives a free injure and you could follow up with a shot, that fake you’re power trick the one you could spam i agree but I don’t think it should be a thing at all cause sure it helps with the hallucination placement, being able to fake your power feels like old slinger.
I've tested hallucination interactions a bit and from I could find the rotation of the hallucinations is client sided but I'll def retry it and look specifically for head movements!

I'm p100 unknown main, but you still taught me a few new things.
Looking forward to mastering them.
Wow, I wish I could be like you

I have stagnated with Jerry and this was just the video I needed!! Great Video!
I'm in awe at the IDC tech, what an absolutely silly strat I have to try it out

Finally! A video explanation of the disco tech! I've been waiting for one since you mentioned it in the comments of the guide!
It and pop ups are my favorites, It's a shame it took me so long to get a video out on them but that's just how it goes some times lol.
U got my sub. Its a nice chill voice and good gamplay to show the tricks
I appreciate the spyro music 👌 and also these magnificent tips of course!

Thank you for teaching to edge i can finally control my goo to bust when i need it to....
I've actually been searching for this, I've been having terrible matches with him.
Fantastic video, and excellent tricks.
Thx for this helpful vid dude ❤
Unknown my beloved

I call those high wall bounce shots "using the backboard" 😂 former basketball player lol
number 7 is the most important one
it would be useful if it had an addon that shows the bounce trajectory

@@UnladenCrow the head movement is very slight like you have to pay hard attention to it cause its only like .1 something seconds its extremely fast.
@@Notwedsquid Interesting will look into it next time I have the time to test something that minute
what is the velocity of an UnladenCrow
SOMEONE FINALLY GOT IT YES!
@@UnladenCrow YOOOOO
