I rather this than gen regression/slow downs. Killers are still running pain resonance and Pop every game wow so fun. 😴. This is easily beaten by instant heals and perks like auto didact (which is very strong against these anti heal builds). This is actually interesting because it's new and trending but also isn't a problem for people who can play just fine while injured. Actually I hope this helps encourage survivors to learn how to play while injured instead of hiding til they get healed.
Good point! Autodidact has always been a bit of a meme but it's actually pretty solid against this combo! I love the silliness of autodidact so I'm happy with any buffs it gets since it's really just not competitive.
It would be a great choice, for sure. I don't like running info on Singularity but on some other killers it would have a natural fit. I will say though that you don't need nurse's at all if they just heal under that hook though, which they'll have to if they have resurgence.
It would but not on Singularity. You really wanna be a stealth character or a character with high mobility like Blight or Xeno…(if Xeno can see nurses in tunnels I forget if you can)
The robot can already place cameras all over the map. It doesn't need an aura reading. Part of the robot's non-camp camping is to place a camera after the hook and look through it when the unhook notification goes off.
This would be good except not by itself since it can be countered just by not healing especially when resilience/adrenaline is very common. Pain res pop you get value no matter what. But both combined together would be pretty cool cause now you have survivors staying injured longer and being punished for trying to reset.
Skull merchant also has Game afoot, which is useful for obsession challenges and is fun with rancor and THWACK! has been recently buffed she costs 4 500 shards which is 1 500 shards cheaper than buying those perks off the shrine
@ she promotes 3 gen shes a shit killer. if i was low mmr i would maybe think about trying her but theres no point i get good survivors with brains so shes not gonna work
@@GoldenDeer_ How do you feel about the recent SM nerfs? Does she still feel good or even playable to you? I've tried her a few games since and they were just miserable to me. Losing a scan line is just so brutal.
Big thing I’ve seen lately is a lot of survivors just heal under hook, which just makes this perk combo really strong. If they run away and find a safer spot, yes the heal takes longer, but leverage’s effect has already regressed, making the heal a bit quicker. Then again, Nurse’s Calling
Don't forget that if survivors run away from the hook, any time they spend running is effectively added to the healing time. i.e. if they had just committed to the heal under the hook, they would have finished the heal 10 seconds earlier if they spent 10 seconds running away. And if they wait out leverage? That means they waited 30 seconds, so the same concept applies, and if you find them during that time you have a guaranteed down on that injured survivor.
The problem with this combo is good survivors will just go do a gen instead of healing. That's not really what you want considering you've used 2 slots for it. This perk combo is only good on killers like Oni or Dredge where your power benefits from people being injured.
That’s not a problem because as a good killer you’re going to be guarding gens eitherway and it’s beneficial to killer that survivors don’t heal, less chase time
@ "A good killer will be guarding gens" no a decent killer will be guarding gens. A good killer knows that guarding gens gets you nowhere against a good team. Your just slowing down gen progress but getting no reward. This perk combo is only useful for tunnelling, but there's better perks for that if you wanna go that route. These perks only work against solo q and low mmr swfs. Which at that point you don't even need a build to win. Maybe take off leverage then slap on PR or Pop. You'll get more value with those perks.
@ you don’t know what you’re talking about. being down a health state and having other teammates also down a health state just leaves you vulnerable for slugging. saying a killer isn’t good for gen defense is like saying a killer is bad for doing the basic thing they’re supposed to be doing during a match, which is stopping the survivors from doing gens and killing
@@jb_charisma Man really used the you dont know what your talking about card.🤣 This perk combo is only good for tunnelling, outside of specific killers. Since it only effects people that just got off hook. So if you want to tunnel then i guess it can be useful. Each to their own i guess. This will not be the new meta outside of specific killers.
while on paper thats true, apart of why this works with singularity is just how threatning the singularity is when it comes to his ability to snowball, so several injured survivors running around can quickly turn sideways because signularity can play around vaults an dpallets easlily
I've heard that on unhook effects of other scourge perks like gift of pain or floods of rage happen after the hook becomes a scourge hook, basically meaning that every hook will give you the effects of gift of pain or floods of rage if you're running jagged compass.
I'm waiting until the perks hit live before playing around with them, but I'm planning on doing some testing and possibly making a video on it. Stay tuned!
I find myself frustrated by this combo, personally, so I've taken it upon myself to be Super Jeff in my soloqueue games, and run Autodidact or For the People and Plot Twist. Using Autodidact/For The People, I can bypass the slowness of Gift of Leverage by instantly healing the target. In Autodidact's case, the slowness of the meter is beneficial - more skill checks, I will usually get 3 tokens on my first unhook/heal with this combo, leaving middle game to end game to unhook and heal within less time than a totally normal heal. With for the People, I can safely remove my own Gift of Pain if I had already been healed on unhook using using Plot Twist (to bypass the healing speed debuff and free up a survivor's time to do gens, take chases, etc). Alternatively, you can also run steve's perk Second Wind instead of Plot Twist, as long as you're not suffering from the deliverance curse. This gives you 2 free slots to run whatever perks you feel benefit you most. Windows and Lithe? Sprint Burst and Vigil? Made for This and Dead Hard? It's not like Autodidact, Plot Twist, Second Wind, and For the People stop being good if the killer isn't running anti-heal either, having a dedicated healer on the team capable of taking care of others and themselves very quickly is always good I find in my experiences.
I typically use Dying Light in my build. The more i hook the more the other survivors have gen slow down. If I get 8 hooks that’s 24% reduction other actions. Rapid brutality is a must on Hux. I lov the anti heal part of this build
The more I play DBD, the more I pull away from Dying light. By the time you hit max reduction, you've already gotten so far ahead that you likely don't need the perk. Not to mention that you only get stacks from hooking the non-obsessions and the perk doesn't affect the obsession, so you're realistically going to get a max of 9 stacks per game. Add on the fact that you're buffing the obsession (who is typically the player running DS and likely one of the most skilled players on the team) and the perk just doesn't hold up. Perks should help you when you're weakest, not when you're at your strongest.
1:35 idk where you got the numbers from, but mangled applies a 20% reduction to healing speed, not 25% Correct values: Healing with mangled = 20 seconds Healing with leverage and mangled = 40 seconds Healing with leverage, mangled and gift of pain = 47,6 seconds

no, antiheal hasnt been great in recent times and you need to dedicate 2 perks to do this it doesnt need a nerf and i wouldnt really even call it meta cause again antiheal hasnt been that great survivors have more options to heal and the antiheal perks got worse
That one perk that heals you 70% when you’re unhooked already makes any antiheal useless. Leverage doesn’t change anything if the survivor have we’ll make it
Doing some quick math, if the hooked survivor has resurgence and the unhooker has we'll make it, the heal will take approximately 11.53 seconds against the combo. That means that even if survivors spend 2 perk slots just to counter your build, you'll still have more than 10 seconds to interrupt that heal and waste both of them. Not to mention if they don't have we'll make it, the sloppy butcher effect from gift of pain forces the unhooker to quickly commit to a heal as that 70% will hit 0% quickly otherwise, making both of them more vulnerable to you. I think the combo is actually quite strong against resurgence.
