  • Thanks for tuning in! This video covers how I build my own powerful, fast video editing computer (desktop PC) on a budget. A top addition to my RUclips production setup! Hope you enjoy!
    Any suggestions with ways this PC can be improved/upgraded, or just general viewer's input, would be appreciated.
    (This is by no means strictly a guide video, just showing the assembly process with a few tips as a beginner PC builder).

    That's one awesome PC Build. What I would recommend if you can't upgrade to a PC from a laptop is to change the laptop's HDD to a SDD, this makes the laptop significantly faster.

      Great tip as switching to an Solid State Drive will greatly speed up the Read/Write speeds, enhancing the workflow of a PC or laptop.
      Thanks for your comment!

    Nice build. Neat and effective.
    Little suprised you could get an 500Gb NVMe SDD for 45$. good pick!
    Also lucky you could still find a case with those 3.5 front rail or window, dont know much how they are called. where you putted the MSI sticker... it is also a must have for me , as I still use DVD drive from time to time, plus I got some Drive Switcher Device... I know I can get an external DVD drive, but to lazy cause I ll need to connect it and disconnect it everytime I need to use it.
    No need for those fancy RGB case lol
    Next time, when you need to install a CPU and Ram, put the motherboard on nakpin! cause when you were installing them, when motherboard was balancing on the flat surface. 02:30

    A tu viejo "Laptop" cámbiale el disco duro por uno de estado sólido. Se notará fácilmente la diferencia. O también instálale el software de NAS SYNOLOGY. Así lo conviertes en tu servidor casero sin tanto dinero. Por último, a tu pc nuevo conéctalo a tu ruteador (router) por LAN. Es más rápido.

    I know what you spent on more which was the graphic card GeForce GTX 1650 and the MSI motherboard. Overall PC building is always fun. 🤔🙌🏼

      @MaxImagination  Год назад +1

      Didn't aim on spending more for the graphics card than the CPU, but I have no regrets with the insanely good rendering speeds 😊

    Great job of building and explaining what you did for all of us! What is the final cost, including the Window 10 OS and two hard drives?

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  Год назад

      Thank you for your comment! The price listed in the text animation at the beginning is $650 including cables, peripherals, and all of the pc's parts with the two hard drives I got for free from old laptops. Price doesn't include the monitor.
      Windows 10 is actually free, downloaded from their official website, though you have the choice of activating windows (basically just removing the watermark) via a paid code/key. I got windows up and running on my PC for free.
      Cheers,
      Max

    I would suggest ditching the PSU the case came with.

      As told from others, I cheaped out on the PSU and will get a quality-built power supply for the PC soon.
