Loving the power-switch lock on that case - I had to disable the power switch on my PC for a while as my daughter had a phase of really liking to press it when she was ~1-2 years old! I ended up with a wired switch higher up on the desk!

Where do you stand on the 14900K after the issues Intel seems to be having? It seems that the newly released stable settings by the motherboard vendors are cutting performance down considerably on these chips.

What a beast of a machine, but 2 things - for the price it should have more USB Gen2 and USB4, the case has USB 2.0 which is ridiculous. And then what was the final price for this machine? And, definitely nice production!

I recently put together an identical build, except for the RAM, I installed 192GB 6400MHz.
I'm curious what frequency you were able to run them on and what settings you used.
For me they ran reliably at 5600MHz.

You're right it's a Dream Creator Workstation because that's all I can do is dream that I had something of that magnitude! The intro was FIRE!! The intel z790 has 20 pcie lanes, and these gpus takes x16 pcie lanes powers so how was it possible to have 2 gpus in this platform?
Because I am looking for using this GPU and Blackmagic capture card which uses x8 pcie lane power so I’m thinking of the Xeon w790 platform….

I bought most of the components you had listed. I have a question about mounting the pump to the standoffs on the motherboard. On my install, the tops of the standoffs barely came through the holes on the pump. I then, with some difficulty, had to snag each thumbscrew on the standoff thread in order to start to tighten the water pump down. Once I got the thumbscrew to connect, I could tighten them, but it seems like the standoffs should be a little longer than they were. Is this normal? I noticed on the video, your standoffs seems to be short as well. I just want to be sure I did that step correctly.

Nice PC for video editing but it'd be very interesting if you can get hold of an amd radeon pro w7900 and compare it to rtx 4080 x2! When shelling out a hefty sum one should consider this option as well!

With the i9-14900k on the ProArt motherboard, did you find it was ready to go right out of the box, or were there specific adjustments you had to make in the BIOS to get the best performance? Any tips or specific settings you could share would be incredibly helpful!
