Awww thank you so much for this kind comment and thank you for noticing my eye makeup! 🥹❤️ It’s actually all in the lashes I’ve been using. It’s fox eye lashes from Amazon and placing them under your lashes instead of over your lashes!! Makes a big difference! I will make a video on it!😊
i bought the too cool for school fixing nude cushion just for this video and honestly it was the best purchase ever. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video, it was my first time buying a cushion (the only foundation i use is too faced born this way) and i did a lot of research before buying it so ill be forever grateful for this amazing discovery ❣️ also you are super relaxing to listen! i love all your makeup videos ❣️

for the banila co. cushion, it's the puff!! if you want, you can try to use it with another puff from another cushion. I also saw another korean makeup artist suggested the same with replacing the puff or using spatula and sponge method :)
i love dewy foundations in the winter and what helps me is lightly setting them with powder and using a glowy setting spray ontop. this makes it last a while while also being significantly more transfer proof. also, the hydrating unicorn glow primer actually paired well with the jsm cushion for me. i think it created a nice hydrating barrier so i didnt get the dry tightness ur describing because i have reallyyy dry skin. but also if u have to buy a whole new primer for an expensive cushion to work…oof 😭 i feel like most ppl use liquid nowadays anyway
i agree, dewy foundations are great in the winter!! i also tried setting spray on top but nothing worked for me 😭 it just wasn't meant to be!! liquid lasts longer but i like the convenience of cushions 😅
Oh my… I trust your reviews SO MUCH and I finally tried too cool for school fixing nude cushion and I’m blown away. I’ve tried many cushions but this one is even better than my JSM one!! It’s great and I love that it comes with a refill. Thank you for your honest reviews 💕💕
Have you tried the TROIAREUKE A+ compact cushion foundation? No matter how many cushions I try, I keep going back to this one. It's like my holy grail and not many people talk about it! I have acne-prone combo skin and the foundation is hypoallergenic with ingredients like centella asiatica extract, tea tree extract, and calendula extract. Superrr lightweight and settles right away!
as someone who has never really worn makeup and really wants to start wearing makeup, this is actually very helpful. i never really know what to expect when buying makeup (especially foundation since it seems so complicated) so a brutally honest video like this helps soooo much. love itttt

I had a similar experience with the unleashia cushion. I got the shade 21 and looked ghostly! Even though my usual go to shade is 21… I’m glad that I wasn’t the only one who experienced that😅

Jung Sae Mool I love it. I bought so many but go back to Jung Sae mool, very natural finish that feels nice. I have balance skin that is clear skin with bit of redness. I think if you have bad skin it won't be high coverage enough for you. Also might not be good for oily skin.
I just found your channel but I'm definitely here to stay! This video was so good and helpful for me as someone who struggle to find a good foundation for my skin and that doesn't look cakey so thank you!!
I loved this honesty! Unfortunately cushion foundations are never dark enough for me despite the fact I’m considered light in the US lol but I love watching cushion reviews regardless. I never knew TCFS had a cushion, I wish I could try it someday!
thank you!! im trying to make a cushion foundation video meant for darker shades, since many of my viewers mention the same thing you mentioned! but yess i got TCFS on a whim and was surprised how well it worked!
That first cushion foundation is way too glowy I can see it has mica particles in it which are highlighting every flaw and pore !! Nope wouldn’t work on my oily skin. Thanks for this review it’s super helpful for us westerners getting into this world 💕 you’re gorgeous!
happy you found it helpful! i haven't experienced any oxidation for both cushions, however I have heard many other people experienced oxidation for the tirtir cushion😢 i think it really just depends on your skin. I would also rec going one shade up for tirtir as it does run on the darker side
Ahh tysm for responding! Yeah, with the tirtir recently blowing up globally, there has been a few ppl coming out saying that it oxidizes:( which sucks cos that's the reason I was looking for a new cushion. But luckily they came out w a trial kit so I can try it before fully committing to it. And ty for the heads-up-- I was planning on going lighter just in case it oxidized loll
It’s funny. I find that liquid foundation feels more comfortable than cushions themselves. I live that you described some of these in a way where you want to crawl out of your skin. I have sensory issues and a lot of cushions exasperates this
OMG I 100% share the same sentiments with you on the JSM one. I had high hopes so I was greatly disappointed on how it's extremely cakey d oily after a while. My skin looks dirty and my friends say I looked metallic 😅 definitely agree with you and can verify this is an honest review
I loveee your reviews im still tempted to buy the unleashia because of the color but now watching yours saying its your worst im thinking twiceeee aaaaa 😢
Same... I got the Espoir velvet on your recommendation and want to try the too cool for school one. I mixed a glowy and a mate setting powder for the Espoir and it lasted so long... X
❤ I was researching cushion foundation as an option for upcoming travel and came across your reviews. I do not comment often, but I had to stop and leave a comment. I love, love, love your honest, straight forward reviews. You made me smile and laugh. Thank you.
Omg I should’ve watched this before I got the unleasha 😭😭 and you were so right 😢😢 I only got it cuz there’s only a few cushions out there that has my shade
@@meebebe_ it actually matched my shade perfectly, I’m a light medium tan so it was really surprising that it was the exact match for my skin. But the formula was so ASSS
Watching this after I ordered the Jungsaemmool cushion 2 days..I'm going to be devastated if it doesn't work for me as I have dehydrated combination skin like the review that you showed. This video was so helpful! 😭
I was just the unlucky few who didn’t like it! Maybe it’ll work out for you though! Take my review with a grain of salt😅 but glad it was helpful to you❤️
100% agree about jung saem mool. I don't have oily skin, but 30 mins to an hour after application and my face was melting. It felt slimy and my skin felt like it was suffocating. I couldn't wait to scrape this off. The next time I set it with powder which was better, but defeated the purpose of quick application and dewy/skin like texture. It is still a no from me.
Thank you! I've never had a cushion foundation before. I have combination to oily skin, I have problems keeping it from being a congested disaster, sebaceous filaments and visible pores are a huge concern for me and so something that could cover it all without picking up my dryer patches would help a lot. I usually go for a very matte look, trying to hide the oil troubles, but I love the way dewy finishes look so much better, so if these are good for combo skin I'll have to try one :D
As someone who has worn circle lenses for over a decade, I recommend you stop because of the damage it will do to your cornea over time. We are not meant to wear lenses that go beyond the iris.
I really think we should be careful with giving unsolicited advice when we do not know a person’s circumstances 😅 Are there any peer-reviewed studies which confirm that CL can be damaging and in which circumstances? Surely it depends on how well they fit (base curve), how often a person wears them (daily vs. occasionally) and how thoroughly they are being taken care of (hygiene).
@@satanyankoexactly, as long as they are fitted by an optometrist they are fine. Any contacts not fitted by a professional run risk of damage to the eye.
The brightness of the unleashia is so real omg. I was using the rom&nd bare water #25 with a bit of a darker concealer bc it was too bright and got the unleashia #27 thinking it’d be a bit of a better shade match but it came on like a rom&nd #23 😭
hi i love your videos!☺️ i have combo-oily skin not that many blemishes and tanish skin. what would you most recommend for me? i saw you liked the sailor moon looking tirtir cushion and im interested in the too cool for school but idkk. give me like a top 5 recommendation
Thank you loved cushion foundation from it cosmetics years ago but they just dropped it....don't know why? But I always think about cushion foundation...i like the too cool for school on your skin...
I am actually the same and really wanted love Jungsaemmool cushion but actually didn’t like it just like you. I was really looking forward for it but really dislike it. The same with higher and blush pallet. I been loving Age 20 cushion, it gives such a beautiful look and also last well. ❤
just discovered your channel and i very liked this video !! The reviews are clear and useful. Would the 'too cool for school' foundation look good on dry skin?
thank you😊 hmmm im not sure how it will work on dry skin, since it doesn't have too much hydration/moisturie to it. although, it doesn't seem to cling on to dry patches. As long as you prep your skin well it should be okay!
wow i had the exact same jung saem mool cushion down to the shade but it works wonder for me tho. sorry it didn't work for youㅜㅜ (but it's too expensive for me to repurchase, so i'm looking for alternatives) thanks a lot for this video!
JSM is amazing on my skin. TirTir on the other hand? Hideous. It separates throughout the day, it accentuates my texture and overall it’s so dry and I don’t even have dry skin
I'm so glad I'm not alone xD I bought into the hype and agree, tirtir is awful. Even with the best skin prep...flakey and cakey, I'm so dissapointed. I'll try JSM! I usually use Moonshot.
@@Lulu-xl5cm and I’ve been a makeup artist and aesthetician for 12 years so I know it’s not my skin or the prep. It just doesn’t sit well on my skin for whatever reason. I keep seeing everyone rave about it and I keep trying to give it a chance and change my prep routine and nothing. But I’m really happy it’s working for the majority of people. Yes I’ve recommended JSM to a few or my fam and friends and they ALL rave about it now. Like my best friend who is a professional makeup artist as well will not change this foundation. She has dry skin which is actually crazy because I have combination and it works so well for both of us.
clio is nice but doesnt last very long :( and I do not like Rom&nd cushions. It looked really bad on my skin😢 working on a new video which included a Rom&nd cushion
help me pleasee!! should i get the amuse dew power vegan cushion, the wakemake water velvet cushion, or the fwee cushion glass? i have dry-to normal skin type but oily around my t-zone. I personally think the tirtir oxidizes alott so im trying to play safe!! pls lmk
i actually havent tried the fwee glass cushion so i cant recommend that particular one. However, if you dont need much coverage and just want to even out skin tone, amuse dew power is good and very moisturizing. it basically feels like a tinted serum. Wakemake has medium coverage and has a nice velvety finish! not to mention it lasts long but it might oxidize.
I actually did an experiment. I went to a festival in my city wearing the cushion. It was very humid, I wore very warm clothes, was very active, and walked through many food booths with lots of steam, went home very late, didn't wash my face (gross I know, but I wanted to do this experiment), went to sleep and on the next day, although I didn't have the same coverage, there was still some product and my skin looked fine.
I would LOOOOOVE you to review 'Three's Ethereal Fluid Foundation. It's a Japanese brand and they appear to take application and base make up seriously. The range is small but serious. I'd LOVE to have you review it the way you reviewed cushion foundations here: great honest lighting, good quality camera and things like application, feel, finish/skin texture and how it wears over time all covered with rigour and high standards. Nobody talks about Three. I hope you will, I'm very curious.
Hiiii, I know you said the tookool for school cushion is best for combination skin but omg it looks so good on you. Do you think it's also suitable for drier skin?
hi!! do you prefer the espoir be velvet cushion or the red tirtir cushion? I can’t decide which one is better for textured skin🥲 (i have acne scars, pimples, and large pores)
I like Espoir cushions velvety finish better but TirTir is the winner for me since it’s long lasting, has amazing coverage and doesn’t budge! I would recommend TirTir if you have textured skin over Espoir. Espoir will probably emphasize textured skin since it does get a bit patchy
Have you tried the brand Lovb Lovb Cushion and also The Saem True Fit Cushion before? If you have, are those good brands? I haven’t tried those before but I don’t know if those are good cushion foundation or not, I don’t see a lot of reviews for those either to know if they’re actually good cushion foundation brand or not.
Hii I do love the finish of Espoir a lot better, but it doesn’t last as long as too cool for school. And it also gets a bit cakey and transfers. But that’s just my experience
Hi, Love your style of review so much , I have the same experience w/ jsm, the cakey heavy feeling on the face was real. Totally agree with your review 😌

Every time I use TirTir cushion foundations, I use their tone up essence primer!
just discovered your channel and i very liked this video !!
@@meebebe_ thank uu! İ will try it
Hi! Can you make a video which cushion refills fit with other cushion compact brands? Like Christina Hello's blog post.
wow i had the exact same jung saem mool cushion down to the shade but it works wonder for me tho. sorry it didn't work for youㅜㅜ (but it's too expensive for me to repurchase, so i'm looking for alternatives) thanks a lot for this video!
awww at least it worked out well for you!! i was the unlucky one😅
Any thoughts on laneige neo cushion? I just bought the bakery edition on a whim 😭
That bakery edition is so cute! But I actually haven’t tried the Neo cushion but I did hear amazing things about it
Cushion too cool for school have a collection with daiso, have you tried this? I'm confused between the regular version and that version.
@@tugiahann I have tried it. It’s alright for the price, but not the best. Main difference is it doesn’t last well throughout the day
May I know where did you buy that rack for your cushions??and what is it called?? It so pretty❤️
It’s from Amazon. It’s actually for nail polish so you could search “acrylic nail polish rack organizer”
I subscribed today clcoz your video are very helpful and straight to the point, saves time. ❤
So sorry Jung Saem Mool didn't work for you, it's by far my favourite cushion
I wish it worked for me🥲
Thank you so much for this video! I'm currently looking for a good cushion to settle with so this is very helpful
No problem☺️❤️
Thank you so much for this video🫶🏻
Of course!! thank you for watching❤
JSM is amazing on my skin. TirTir on the other hand? Hideous. It separates throughout the day, it accentuates my texture and overall it’s so dry and I don’t even have dry skin
thats great jsm worked out for you! wished it worked out for me as well
I'm so glad I'm not alone xD I bought into the hype and agree, tirtir is awful.
Love this video you made I'm going to watch it to the end love me some Korean makeup and plus it will keep my mind off being sick 🤧🤒🤧
Thank you for the love ❤️❤️❤️ and feel better soon!!
@@meebebe_ thank you 🤒🤧
What are your thoughts on the Rom&nd and Clio cushions 🫶🏽
clio is nice but doesnt last very long :( and I do not like Rom&nd cushions. It looked really bad on my skin😢 working on a new video which included a Rom&nd cushion
@@meebebe_thank you🫶🏽
Have you tried the TCFS fixing dew one?
@@Pegasus11.11 yes I have🥲 Didn’t work out for me as much as the fixing nude cushion
help me pleasee!! should i get the amuse dew power vegan cushion, the wakemake water velvet cushion, or the fwee cushion glass? i have dry-to normal skin type but oily around my t-zone.
Loved the video ❤
Thank youu🙏🏻💖
Thank youuu💖🙏🏻
do you use concealer? can you please recommend good concealer for oily skin ppl?
I actually did an experiment. I went to a festival in my city wearing the cushion. It was very humid, I wore very warm clothes, was very active, and walked through many food booths with lots of steam, went home very late, didn't wash my face (gross I know, but I wanted to do this experiment), went to sleep and on the next day, although I didn't have the same coverage, there was still some product and my skin looked fine.
which cushion did you experiment on?😃
@@meebebe_ the red one. Forgot to mention 😅
Do you think it's also suitable for drier skin?
i wouldn't recommend for dry skin only because it can cling on to dry spots
@@meebebe_ Thanks a lot! That's such a shame because it looks so pretty :/
is the too cool for school fixing cover or fixing dew cushion? thank you!
its the too cool for school fixing nude cushion!
Looks like I have some Korean and Japanese cushion foundations to pick up!
Where do you recommend to buy the too cool for school cushion foundation?
Thanks
I normally would recommend olive young global! But yesstyle is much cheaper!
Thank you
You are in which shade in the two products that you mentioned in the video too cool for school and the tirtir cushion?
it was captioned in the bottom left side of the video😅 but the shade for tcfs-2c petal, and for tirtir- 21 ivory
Wowww ❤ I cannot wait for your review on all the Tirtir cf ! 🤩
Yesss! I am working on making a dedicated video on all the colors of the TirTir cushions, since I was such a a fan of the red one!
Hello! How about dry and sensitive skin? The too cool for school work?
Hi can you please review acne safe cushions for acne prone skin.🥺
hi!! do you prefer the espoir be velvet cushion or the red tirtir cushion? I can’t decide which one is better for textured skin🥲 (i have acne scars, pimples, and large pores)
I like Espoir cushions velvety finish better but TirTir is the winner for me since it’s long lasting, has amazing coverage and doesn’t budge! I would recommend TirTir if you have textured skin over Espoir. Espoir will probably emphasize textured skin since it does get a bit patchy
@@meebebe_ omg thank you so much😭 this helps a lot🥹
Have you tried the brand Lovb Lovb Cushion and also The Saem True Fit Cushion before? If you have, are those good brands?
I haven’t tried those before but I don’t know if those are good cushion foundation or not, I don’t see a lot of reviews for those either to know if they’re actually good cushion foundation brand or not.
TirTir would be superior with a matte setting powder I think
I agree!!! But regular setting powder works just as well 😊
Which one do you recommend if my skin is dry? I like shiny skin (I don't mind using translucent powder
hi, how about the red espoir cushion? is it as good as too cool for school?
Hii I do love the finish of Espoir a lot better, but it doesn’t last as long as too cool for school. And it also gets a bit cakey and transfers. But that’s just my experience
Hi, Love your style of review so much , I have the same experience w/ jsm, the cakey heavy feeling on the face was real. Totally agree with your review 😌
thank you!!! i wish it worked for me :( but glad to hear i'm not the only one that experienced the negatives! i thought i might've been dramatic
