This is good information, especially for new builders. My process is basically the same, other than I don't always wash all the parts. However, I do lightly sand/scuff several of the larger parts including the body.
Great video! I follow the same process for the most part. Hahaha I wash mine as well but I use a 1 1/2 paint brush... Our water is so hard it can dent the counter so I use a air compressor (Not the paint one) under the other bench to air dry the parts. I just figure better safe than sorry as far as washing the parts. It may not be entirely necessary, but I do still do it, lol.
