When I was a kid and went to school many many many years ago from first to 6th grade it was elementary school 7th and 8th grade was middle school and 9th through 12th was high School. 🙂
Here's some fun facts for you guys during the making of IT chapter 1 Bill Skarsgard was told by The producers not to get close to the children so they could get the children's realistic reaction to his pennywise persona also the children were the ones that picked their adult counterparts for IT chapter 2🙂
This was the highest grossing horror film of 2017, making $700 million dollars against a $40 million dollar budget.

The “shush! The children!” I’d the midst of being terrified was amazing lol.
Fun fact: that projector scene was the first time the kids saw Bill Skarsgård in full costume and makeup. So that screaming was a genuine reaction. Afterwards, he actually made sure they were all ok and that he didn't scare them too badly.

It channels a person's worst fears to target them. It was not a zombie that came after Eddie (remember Eddie is a super hypochondriac), it was his ideas and fear of leprosy. I think this movie is so much fun because it's haunting, scary, and actually hilarious. Thank you for doing the reaction despite being spooked

Don’t worry about the vocal minority, people are much more willing to spread hate behind a screen for somebody they’ve never met but I’ve been loving this channel for years now and you are exactly HALF of the reason why that is because the BOTH of you together make it what it is!! "its weird everyone in the town is weird"... its true all the adults in the town act off and its because of the influence of IT it doesn't hunt the adults but just being near it has an effect.

Same. I read "IT" in 7th grade about a week b4 the TV release. Loved the original (John Ritter & Tim Curry). REALLY loved the reboot! 💜

IDK why, but that projector jump scare actually felt like it was in 3D when I saw it in theaters. They did a fantastic job and despite it being incredibly frightening every time I watch it, I also love to see just how awesome that looked.

Both the "IT" movies are actually pretty good for ppl who are just getting into horror films due to them not being gory & with a solid mix of funny + character building with jump scares (well imo that is lol)

This turned out to be one of my favorite horror movies of all time, and easily the best in the last 5 years or so! After my wife and I went to see this, I was trying to quote Pennywise and I realized I can do his voice creepily well. So now when I want to mess with my wife, I will just just wait for the perfect opportunity, hide in a dark corner, and hit her with the "Hiya Georgie!"....I've been hit a few times 🤣

I don't think it's explained in the film, but the 7 friends have probably just finished 7th grade (they are 13), and the bullies just finished 9th. In the book, Henry had been kept back a grade (at least once), so was actually in the same class as the 7 friends.
Jane and JV are amazing, to sit through a horror movie when you scare easily anyways. It’s totally worth it for us seeing Jane whack JV for putting her through this is top tier quality entertainment haha thank you both

I personally love people getting scared by a movie, because no one actually gets hurt
when i learnt that it was a cosmic being whose mortal enemy is a giant cosmic turtle i couldnt take him seriously anymore. for some reason aliens or cosmic stuff doesnt get me. but when i thought he was like a supernatural ghost spirit thing i was terrified of it.
This was WAY scarier than IT: CHAPTER 2 !!! I think because it was kids being attacked, as well as the introduction of Pennywise. I loved this reaction video you two !!! The scene where Ben Hanscom is in the library basement & the headless spectre chases him there was the first of multiple jump scare scenes from both of you was worth watching reaction video alone !!! The fact that the both of you got through this video, even as both of you kept watching the clock on when this video ended, is a testament of how stronger both are than the two of you know !!! WELL DONE !!! Loved this reaction video you two !!! Keep it going !!!

Bill Skarsgard did an amazing job playing as IT (Pennywise the Clown). He did alot of his own stunts to. He also did the eye moment and lip smile. Such a good reaction. Can't wait to see what other movies you guys see.

In the book, the kids were acting as agents of an 'entity of good' they called the 'Turtle', which was visually referred to a couple times in this film. Also, in the book and the old T.V. miniseries, there was an element of magic at work when the kids were fighting Pennywise which helped them beat it back. They used a slingshot with silver 'bullets' to wound IT as opposed to the gun.
Ya'lls reaction through out this entire movie was hilarious. I love IT and IT: chapter 2. These movies are great. Ya'll should definately react to the 2nd movie.

I guess i was raised in a different time... when you guys said thar georgy is to far from home i really had to scratch my head... since first class @ the age of 6 i walked every day 2,5 km to school and back.... it really was a different time 😲
Is it real or in his head? It's both, until one wins out. If he beats it and survives, the altered world stops being real for the time being. If he loses, he dies right there as gruesomely as the situation gets. IT only needs to feed on our flesh, but IT loves to feed on our fear. Fear is like a candy to IT.
And when the balloon rose up in the car when they passed by the bullies about to butcher the kid, that was IT shown its influence on the adults by making them ignore that.
20:57 Patrick (the guy with the deodorant and lighter) actually has untreated psychosis and if you read the book (which I don’t recommend btw god its good but so fucked up) you can find out more about him, he put puppy’s in freezers to see which one would survive the longest and that’s not even the worst thing hes done

The book goes into more detail about Patrick (the bully with the lighter). He's a total sociopath who murdered his baby brother, and really does deserve to be murdered by Pennywise, if anyone does. And he actually didn't die, but became one with IT.

I watched this movie in October for the first time. It was scary as hell. Then I watched chapter 2 a month later. That was scary as hell too. I just rewatched this one today and I don't know what it was but it barely even scared me during the second viewing. I actually enjoyed it a lot more during the second viewing though. This is easily one of my favourite horror movies of all time and just one of my all time favourite movies in general. I love this movie. Gonna be rewatching chapter 2 next weekend and I'm looking forward to it. One of my favourite movie series of all time. I was absolutely terrified to watch these movies as I had heard how scary they we're and while they are scary, they're so good. It's currently 12:50am where I live right now and I wanna rewatch this movie again. Definitely a must watch if you're a fan of horror movies. You're missing out if you haven't seen it.

Honestly, Part II was a HUGE letdown. This one is amazing, one of my fav horror movies of the last 10 years.
Regarding Beverly and her dad, it's clearer in the book, but he has not molested her yet. The scene with the toilet top would have been the first time. The exact quote in the book that most strongly makes it clear is (paraphrased)
"There was a scent in the house that summer that had never been there before. And it was only there when Beverly and her dad were home together."
It's also subtextually stated by her greatest fear, blood and hair, both associated with the onset of puberty. She was scared of puberty because she could feel that puberty would mean something bad for her and her dad. I think you can also see it in the movie in Beverly's character. She doesn't exhibit the damage you'd expect of a young sexual abuse survivor.
This is not to say that there was not emotional abuse, of course. It's influence on the Derry's adults dealt plenty of that to all of the Loser's Club.
There's also a scene late in the book that makes it absolutely clear she's a virgin, but I won't be discussing it here for fear of banning.

One cool thing, the scene where Pennywise comes out of the fridge to torment Eddie, thats when the child actors actually see Pennywise for the first time while filming. So their reactions are genuine.
