Whatever crap people keep telling about Jio,the internet world for India is always post and pre Jio.Even a govt company like BSNL used to charge about ₹250 for a gb of data with abysmal speed. JIO just gave internet to common people and I am pretty sure that this will be a remarkable milestone in Indian history. Edit:I am not here to whitewash reliance(a lot of people are saying so in the comments),i very well know that they are money looters but they completely changed the internet scene.

Using Airtel for 16+ years from 2005. It has never disappointed me with their connectivity and customer service, from Islands of Andaman’s to Sand dunes of Jaisalmer, Airtel was everywhere with me while travelling. That’s why I never felt the need to switch to any other providers.🤗
This video sort of gave me an added confidence that that strategy what we are adopting for our brand is absolutely right. Airtel's willingess to lose 4.8 crores to focus on loyal & focused customers.

Same here.. I'm using airtel since 2007 I guess..I use to pay heavy amount for postpaid at that time..since jio came these family plans were introduced and got cheaper for postpaid..but airtel never compromised in giving customer service..like the net speed never decreased.. everyone who are using jio use to say we are not getting the signal from airtel in the home so we are switching to jio..but I never faced anything like that..I have used airtel in those places also only the reason for that was net speed was reduced not the signal.. airtel was the best from these telecom operators.. airtel will never disappoint any regular user..

VI is also giving awesome services in internet speed, data rollover, other subscriptions at low cost but still barely surviving. The point is that it doesn't have the level of ecosystem which other rivals provide. Now I get the answer of why.
@Neeraj Poonia it sometime gives me around 4MB/s and normally 1 to 1.5 MB/s is guaranteed in my area for sure. VI is the only reason why my lockdown periods went good saving me to get a broadband connection for studying and others. I also used to have JIO before that time.
@@PatelKunal111 I think you are confusing between the two. 75 mbps is not what you think. It's not 75 megabytes per second. It's 75 megabits per second.
I have been saying this and I will reiterate that what Ambani did is something very peculiar in Indian History and no businessman will ever achieve the milestones that he has through Jio. With Jio the ripple effect has given rise to many startups and few of them turning to unicorns so don't just see Jio in isolation.
I and my family have been airtel customers since 2004. From the Mallorca, Spain to Northeast India. I have always had at least one airtel signal bar everytime. When you are travelling abroad, airtel signal helps you with emergency opt messages or any emergency call to your family.

Yes I have never used JIO even when it was free. Hutch from 2002 to 2016 then Airtel till date. Never felt missing anything but JIO's entry made my bills cheaper.
First of all no offence. Why do you think that the people go for free offer only ? may be they just want to value for their money and jio provides that, what would have been India's situation with out jio ? I'm damn sure we wouldn't have been where we are right now with out jio. It made airtel, idea, vodafone not only these jio taught the lesson to every telecom company that wanted to rob the people's money

The airtel part hits home. We had airtel sims for like 3-4 years when our reliance broadband started acting up so we switched to airtel broadband in 2017. In 2021, DishTV started having problems so we switched to airtel so now we have airtel dth + xstream box. I think we spend almost 1-2k/month on airtel as we have 4 sims+1 broadband+1 dth. Never thought of it that way. Cool video man.
One of the best explanatory videos on business I have come across, this is definitely an Entry-level video to this channel and the products this channel will offer in the future.
The Competition Commission of India will not allow these two companies to merge. The monopoly will be too huge of a burden for consumers. It's not about Jio keeping Airtel afloat as their competitor per se.
But huge respect to jio for the tight slap it gave to all its competition Otherwise, god knows where we would have in standing without jio revolution I may never have been able to watch you, and it might have taken you 2X timee to reach 500k subs 🤪🤗🥳🙏
Your Questions in the end are brilliant: Whether Reliance is deliberately allowing Airtel to win? I doubt that. Reliance is inherently monopolistic. Developing simple strategies like putting the customer experience first and serving the customer well, responding to customer requests earnestly go a long way. Most of the Airtel users would confirm that.
I still think Jio brought a great revolution in the intranet service. The place where I live in India , it is 60 kilometer away from Chennai. I tried thru Airtel several times, but every occasion they were saying still the facility didn’t come to my place. Whereas , a couple of years ago, I bought Jio wireless router and subscribe data plan 3 gb one day. Which was phenomenal ! Whenever I come to India after Jio,connection, i felt like I was connected to the world. Also, it has been helping me to work from my native to US office during my travel in India. All these happened by Jio. Airtel might be good in other places, but not in my place.

I did a case study on BSNL two years ago, gov. will not support BSNL rn because its a leakage, most unprofessional employees and most unprofessional services, drawing an average salary of around 60k+ with other benefits but pathetic service, its not the gov. , it's the employees, every now and then on one action taken by the top level in PSUs, employees go on strike, there is a City in India named Bhilai, where you will find employees sitting on strike 200+ days a year (no joke). Gov. is playing very smart moves tbh and doing things very strategically.
It will not get support, one of the worst services provided by BSNL in telecom sector. Even before JIo came around, everyone was either using Airtel or Vodafone. Vodafone is still used by many. Govt. can support help revive Vodafone, but i don't think BSNL can revive easily, with the no. Of excess employees they have.

As an Airtel Customer who didn't give up on them and switch to Jio (frankly because I was well set with Airtel anyway), I can confirm that Airtel really stepped up their game in recognising and retaining their loyal customers and they did it superfast because everyday delayed is a day of lost customers.
I was and am one of the loyal customers, had Airtel with VI for a long time, but this month I had to port Vi to jio because they ended 49 packs...

Some drawbacks of Airtel :
No OTP without recharge (imagine during an emergency).
No free tv channels or content like Jiotv or Jiocinemas.
Airtel Xstream is not that bad but Airtel still has a speed advantage(both broadband and 4g) and service quality is just miles better.
@@TheSuperstarstudents To be clear, I'm not talking about the paid set top box, whether Jio Fibre or Airtel Xtream. I'm talking about free access to channels & content via Jio apps, just based on owning a Jio sim, even if you didn't currently recharge. Jio cinemas also gives you access to some content from Amazon Prime/Netflix, etc for a limited time from time to time. But this is not exactly a concern of mine, as I don't use it very often personally anyway.
My concern is the issue with OTP. And I think it's a tad bit extreme (pun intended).
Also, the service/network depends on the area/location. I've seen areas where Airtel is extremely poor & Jio is better, & I've seen vice-versa. I've also seen places where both have poor service, & instead telecoms like BSNL, Dolphin, etc have outperformed them.
