Terrific comparison between E6B paper and electronic calculator! Please include more of these based on Test Questions.
I would like to thank you for posting these videos. Currently, I'm studying for my Faa written test. I'm using "Sporty's" on-line ground course. Its good. But I like the way you explain how to use the "E6B flight computer" better. I will continue to watch your videos to better understand everything I need to pass and get a high score for test. My future goal is to obtain all of my rating within 5 years and become a commercial airline pilot first officer.
Hello and thank you for sharing Coreyjordan, I wish you all the best in your airline career endeavors. I've seen over and over that a positive, team-work attitude and networking takes a lot of pilots far in their careers too. Keep up the great work!
These videos are so helpful. Thank you so much for explaining it in detail. This concept and calculation makes so much more sense now.
Fantastic, I am so glad to hear! Thank you for watching and commenting Chazcoggins.
Your videos are all sooooo helpful!! I can't believe I didn't come across them earlier in my studies, but I am preparing for the written exam and out of the thousands of videos I've watched yours always make it palatable. Thank you so much for all of your videos and you are greatly appreciated!
Hello Rachelle and thank you very much for your kind feedback. I am very glad these videos are found to be useful. Wishing you the best when you take your written exam!
Another great video. These are very well explained and not over explained. I will say that I can't ever get 246 with my Cessna E6B I end up with 242.
Thank you for watching Davidrosa, sounds like you got the hang of it. These E6b's are not the easiest to get perfect with, not even for me. I am happy the video's were helpful in figuring this stuff out!
Thank you for this video
I kept coming up with the wrong answer even on the electronic E6B.
After your explanation of course all is good.
I have started learning calculation through your video. Even though I didn't had E6B computer I downloaded app from play store to practice this problem. I'm becoming more and more confident with the calculations through your videos. Thanks a lot.
It's amazing the way you teach. You don't try to seem like your a genius and make us question what you are saying. Excellent excellent excellent teaching. I know teachers who will use words that will confuse you and instead of continuing to listen you are busy trying to find out what the word means and miss out on the whole lesson. You are beyond amazing. A video that doesn't require playing back constantly is a perfect video
Thank you for the kind compliment 41stpilot! I remember struggling as a student when learning a lot of these subjects so I hoped to be able to explain things as best as I can. I am very glad this video came in helpful for you!
G,day from Sydney Australia.
It's been 22 years since I've practiced with an E6B.
When you presented the written multiple choice question, I immediately started to picture the 360° of the compass and process the variation due to wind. Thinking to myself (she's got a calming voice, therefore the wind must be coming from....what side of the plane to push me 5° off my heading) then I thought, it's not changing the airspeed much....so, it can't be to strong, I better touch the pause button and consider the multiple choice options.
I then started to reminisce of sitting with a sectional chart, pencil and ruler trying to work out scenario problems, in an old disused Court House of Law in a small country town with a retired airline Captain.
I may have to watch your E6B instruction a few times.
Thankyou for creating great learning resources.

Great, taking a moment to visualize the wind and its effects on the flight can really simplify the situation even further. Thank you for sharing John!
Your videos are amazing! Thank you!
Always great videos from you. great learning
Hello and thank you Helalbhuiyan! I appreciate your kind feedback, best wishes.
Great reminder that both are great for testing and planning purposes on the ground and that's where both should stay...on the ground:) Excellent demonstration, thank you!
Yes good point, thank you James!
So glad I found you… you make this stuff entertaining and fun to learn! I understand this stuff now!!
That's great! If I could get most of these videos to be experienced like that, I would be very, very happy.
love your videos. You should list the example problem number from Glime test questions
You’ve helped me so much, thanks.
I love your channel keep up the hard work
Thank you Adrian, and yes will do!
Brilliant thank you so much! Cleared it up properly after combing through multiple videos. Mark

Intimidating at first thought, but I think I this video will make it easier for me. I haven't gotten to this portion yet in my studies but I'm sure this will help. Thank you!
Hello and thank you Commander Pip! If you have any questions about this calculation in the future, feel free to let me know. I would like to clarify anything that I may have missed in this video.

Thank you for watching Logan!
can you do a video on all things VOR? I love how you teach and I can't get it for the life of me.
Hello Thegustins! Is it The Gustins? I hope I guessed the name correct. Thank you for your suggestion for a video on VOR. I happen to be currently working on one right now, it may be a while before it gets posted because I am obsessing over all the plans and ideas on how to present it. It will get done one day though, thank you for watching!
Great instruction and your pace is perfect
This is great to hear, thank you for your feedback PJC.

I have that exact one, although i do not know how to use it or what some things are… but im reading the manual.
Expo Dry Erase ultra fine marker works great.
thanks for posing. that calculator was 10x easier
Yes absolutely, after getting that calculator I never wanted to use that manual version. Thank you for watching Nevado.
@@AIDYLCONCEPTS Yes indeed , Thanks very much for posting all those informative teaching video's on how to tackle FAA knowledge questions on weight and balance. your channel was tremendous help with my studies for the test and i pass a few weeks ago with 88% . Thanks very much 🙂
@@njbpaul This is awesome news! Thank you for sharing, it definitely makes creating these videos worth it, and encouraging to keep on making more content like this. Best wishes for your studies
@@AIDYLCONCEPTS you are welcome. Thanks again. and keep posting videos please .
I hate this question on the test because I forget how to do it on the analog e6b. This question alone made me buy the electronic version. lol
Taking the test in about 2-3 weeks.
The same frustrations convinced me to buy the electronic version too, good luck for your test! I made sure to have spare batteries available, just in case haha.
@@AIDYLCONCEPTS Just took it. Passed with 98. Guess I am not perfect. Thank you for your videos.
@@ahmadsamadzai8255 98 is awesome, excellent job Ahmad! Thank you for sharing this great news.
