- Hey Everyone,
In this video we show you the new Shovelhead Yama got, and we finally bring Theo's 1946 Knucklhead into the shop to get it running.
Unfortunately when we got it up on the lift we noticed the transmission case had been cracked.
So we pulled the trans and shoved it into Theo's FXR bags, which it somehow fit in.
We had fun bringing you along to hangout with us in the shop and we are planning on getting back to our normal shop videos.

These bikes were considered old iron back when I started riding...early 70's. What are they considered now? Petrified iron? Ha. Be proud that you're keeping them running down the road!
Theyve turned to gold now
im a shovelhead dude to .i didn't get a bike till 79 but i was 14 and it was my first vehicle . and today its still my only vehicle. i got a truck im working on that ive had for 10 years or so i bought it with 142k on it and it has 149k on it now. but the bike i bought last year with 5200 miles on it has 38 k. haha but i live in ohio where we have that beautiful 17° ridding temperature.
This 69 year old really enjoys watching your videos. It is so cool to see you guys working on older bikes!
this dude got his leather wallet chain stuck on the truck’s bumper coming in to the shop and almost ripped it off then hooked it on the trans getting out lol what luck
Bringing these old machines back to life!
Love the whish bone idea.,...stretch it just a tiny bit.... jockey shift a great idea......
That FXRT is so fricken Sweet! The Knuck's are sweet don't get me wrong but there is just something about that FXRT that speaks to me.
Beautiful machine.
awesome video deff lightend up the mood , always looking towards the next video 👍
That FXRT is the nicest one I’ve ever seen. Beauty!
great video , very nice classic custom bikes , i wait for the Shovelhead .... Hello from France
Fun video to see. Keep on with the new shovel as you fit. Look forward to what you all do next
Try the tank sealer from Caswell plating.
Don't hard tail that frame, get another swing arm put back to stock. I like it and may have things of trade
Like that old Honda
its urz so do wut u wanna but eye say CHOPPER!!
🤘😎🤘
Dang
I've wanted a knucklehead since I was a kid
So much opposition and
"you'll never have a bike like that"
Kinda broke the dream.
Still want one though
KISS as a way of life.
do a follow up video!🤘
It would make sense that the trans moved forward, especially after finding that crack in the case where the stud is. Was the primary belt a little loose when you disassembled it? It didn't look like the final drive was too tight, but chains can and will stretch, especially if they are older.
Funk it, CHOP CHOP!!!! 🏍🤙🍻
Well im looking to buy a springer front end chopper
Hard tail that shovel
I don't know the model styles ..yet ..why not put a mono shock style suspension on it ..with a 10 over springer ..( that one I know )..
Leave the frame alone !!!
Who's wishbone frame would you use
I would use the Vtwin replica wishbone frame!
RESTORE!!!! Don't hard tail it... Then, "bob" it out.. I've got a 79 lowrider and it's a Frankenstein. All I know I want to bob it...
dont make it a jocky shift. thats a 70- 73? im thinking looking at the oil pump but... it is so much nicer to ride a foot shift bike and if your giving it away.... i had a 71 flh that was the only bike i every really identified with and ive had a shitload of bikes but that one i had for over 20cyears and put half a million miles on. i said if i ever came across it id trade my 2014 twin cam for it.
For that suzuki, 50/50 of molasses and water in the tank for one month and it'll clean that shit right up. I don't know or get the science behind it. Some amish dude told me about the trick.
frame sucks, either repair it or chop that shit up!!
i mean that in the best way haha
I agree the frame does suck. Thinking about using the motor and trans mount sections for another project and throwing the motor and trans into a repop wishbone.
chopper up!!
🤘
Softail it
