Brings back memories!! I had a '48 shovel/pan that I bought in '74. I put a magneto and a 38mm Mikuni on it in '76. With my limited tuning skills, it took me a while to get it dialed in. Once I got it running right it ran great as long as the points and plugs were clean and fresh. I love what y'all are doing, and I love your channel!! Keep it up!!
Was routing for you guys every kick! Love the channel. Watching from the UK, just getting into the whole chopper thing. Bought a sportster chop last month and buzzing for some better weather so I can get out riding! Much love guys 👍
Great video to start the day, thank you. I'm diggin that Honda SL in the background. Grandfather John Livin the Dream 96 Dyna Glide Convertible rider ~
Nice video! Looking for a new Silver Sneakers workout. Watched this one. The red Honda looked just like my old 1966 Honda S 90. Memories came flooding in my mind!
OK, here's how you Kickstart a Harley (as you don't know): ignition OFF, three kicks with wide open throttle to prime it. Ignition ON - starts in 1 to 2 kicks. Every time. If it doesn't, it's not properly set up. You're welcome.
You should go I Road and Electra Glide with tool belt front and rear primary belt drive and secondary final drive and the bike was as smooth as my BMW if I were you guys I would put a belt primary on that Nook and a belt final drive on that knucklehead Harley I got it old Triumph 1965 TR6 my BMW 600 Mi Sportster plus my sidecar rig there is no school like old school
Love the little Hondas when I was growing up in the 70s there was nothing better than a Honda sure Kawasakis for fast and Yamahas for fast but Honda ruled the 1970s they made the best motorcycles in the world they were affordable they were easy to maintain they were reliable nothing more reliable than a Honda in the 1970s you batcha you ask a Harley guy with Harley tattoos from head to toe what he started to ride on and if he's honest he'll sell you don't tell anybody a little Honda when I went to high school you have to ride the bus only teachers park at the high school since I was a teaching assistant I decided I deserved a parking spot to park my little Honda and nobody said boo about it for 4 years I am in my high school yearbook in my fake Kmart leather jacket reading Cycle World with the two-page ad showing the Honda 400 Hawk I opened it to that page to show that it was a motorcycle magazine in the 70s there was nothing like a Honda they ruled motorcycling I remember reading and a motorcycle magazine that they had a new motorcycle plant where a new Honda CB750 four came off the assembly line every 3 minutes imagine that
Ummmmm so what you just gonna hand tighten that clutch hub nut down with no washer to lock it and continue on to putting the hub n clutch plates.. what!?!?
Well I’m sorry this irritated you. It was very irritating to work real hard at something and it just doesn’t work, but I did learn from the experience and hopefully can do better next time! Have a good one!
You all should just stick with your Japan bikes, leave the Harleys to real men,tr8to adjust carb while hitting on one cylinder, the rear, what a disgrace
This is all a learning experience for me, I learn something new everyday and I’m not perfect at it nor do I know everything but Harley’s hold a very special place in my heart which is why I choose to work on them. I get where you are coming from and some things I’ve filmed in the past I look back on and feel the way you do haha but as long as I progress and keep learning is what matters to me! Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great day!
Try a little shot of brake cleaner in to the carb. Mine starts right up after a long winter sleep here in Canada. Cheers.
A fan of this channel from Tokyo, Japan!
Congrats and excited to see more vids of Knuckles!

Great Video! Subscribed!
This reminds me of the time decades ago when I had a mag...briefly....before going back to dependable easy starting points.
Of all of the magneto bikes that I have personally seen, exactly ONE would start properly.
Nice Nice Nice Thanks for the vid
Good tag team going there
Totally fabulous~~~
Freaking love that bike

I really like your video,s..you guys seem very Cool..I have a 72 Honda.its been sitting for years..do you guys work on those bikes for people..?
Nice one. Is the smoking from the pipe wrap or burning oil or does anyone have a thought?
I’d say both! The wrap was a major cause of it but there was also quite a bit of oil leaking.
New wrap will smoke a bit, but it doesn't take much oil on the wrap to make it smoke like Cheech and Chong in the 80's.
Ly guys, love the channel 😎😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘
That was f… nice 🙏🏻
what song is in the intro? it sounds so familiar
ill never b cool enuf for a foot clutch!

Very cool... 🇨🇵👍

Should have gotten a Knuckle guy to start it, 3 kicks would have been my guess.
what happened to the springer ? is that even the same 46 the vid started with ?
Hey there! Theo has two knuckleheads. The one with the wideglide that we ride is his 47, the one with the springer is the 46!
Thanks for watching
I love you guys, but this video could have been half as long and still as cool.
No matter how many times I do it, I feel like I rarely ever time my bikes right the first time lol.
Sounded like the knuckle was only firing on the rear cylinder at first. Ever get it to run smoothly?
You are right! It was only running on one cylinder intermittently. The timing was just slightly off. Have to retime it again!
Вот это да Вы парни круто живете на счет мотоциклов очень круто живете!!! 🤟
Where are you guys located
the other guys wearing a wesco?
hi guys, nice video and nice bike. can I ask you the model of the gas tank?
greetings from Italy
Hey there! That is a hap Jones gas tank!
Sounds like its only firing off the rear cylinder in the first start up.
loving this things about motorcycle from china
nice
Why are they always sooooo hard to start ?
I have always loved the look of those things, but you'll need a good back doctor.
Yeah I can tell it's your first time
Give it to Keenan Tatro

Lol I knew this comment was coming, I torqued it and flipped the washer tab down off camera!
BTW, I owned that '48 until 1996, and like an idiot, I sold it. Stupidest thing I've ever done!!
if you wanna sell this bike let me know.
"24 февр. 2022 г" Очень печальный день для моей страны... ((
weak coil in mag .
OK but takes two days to work on the carburetor you guys are real mechanics gotta quit while you’re ahead
15 minutes 54 seconds into the video lost interest watching you trying to kick it over, how many kicks to fire it, too many
post a video of your knucklehead for reference
This was irritating to watch
Well I’m sorry this irritated you. It was very irritating to work real hard at something and it just doesn’t work, but I did learn from the experience and hopefully can do better next time!

You are so right, I’ll just give up on life. Would that make you happy?
No,but what ever works for you
