    Tyagaraja's journey of emotions
Tyagaraja, one of the musical Trinity has expressed a host of emotions in his various compositions. These are indicative of some events and milestones in his life, his inner feelings, and more. This conceptualisation, by Vinay Varanasi and Srivathsan S explores a spectrum of emotions that arose in his journey through narrative and music. From spiteful remarks to one's deity, to pining like a lover, the journey will focus on milestones covering themes agony, angst, frustration to bliss and contentment.
Each emotion will be presented through narrative and music. The journey will cover similar sentiments expressed by multiple composers and languages separated by time and distance but bound together by commonality of thought. The focus of the program is for listeners to be able to appreciate the diversity of each emotion, and it's relation to the larger theme of spirituality and the self.

As always Shri Vinay Varanasi has brought to us a beautiful compilation of Saint Thyagaraja's Kritis and compositions. Although I had learnt many of these Kritis, till now I didn't understand the emotional context of these Kritis, the different stages in the life of Thyagaraja Swamy and his feelings at those times which came out as his compositions. Congratulations and kudos to Shri Vinay Varanasi, and his team of musicians who have performed this concert🎉🎉🎉

That moment of Srirama appearing before Tyagaraja swami for a fraction, and how he was looking, when narrated by Vinay anna, pure bliss

  • @shivasiva8640

The person who is narrating the Katha of tyagaraja,he is like another suka Maharshi.. Because His eyes and hands are also narrating the Katha very lovely...And the other participants also did a great job...I'm only 19 years old Where do I have to search for him(Rama)??. I got injuries from my responsibilities , Because I am a boy and I have to earn ...How can I reach you Rama.. Anyways I also have great inspiration as mata Sabari rama...You don't forget me..😢❤Jai shree ram ✊

  • @srinivasaadipudi6732

Just like sadguru tyagaraja Swami's compositions transcend language barrier and enthrals people across borders, these young people journey of the great composer of India is as enthralling as the composer himself. May lord Ram give you all success and blissful life. ❤
